Although the pizza is great, the service is not. No sanitation done at all from register to making pizza, it seems customary to clean their hands on their clothes, no hair nets at all. Looking to have a break from $80 nightly meals, my bf and I decided to have some pizza one night. They sell by the slice which was perfect for us. The slices are large so I got 1, my bf got 2. We both opted for the basic cheese & pepperoni which we thought was delicious. Nice thin crust, cooked all the way through with a nice texture and crunch. The cheese was good and the pepperoni was plentiful. I also got a small Caesar salad which was big enough for us to share and had big slices of parmesan cheese on it. It was a perfect compliment. We rounded out our meal by having a beer & a glass of wine and sat outside and enjoyed the nice evening. It seems a lot of the low reviews lately have been related to service and delivery problems, but since we stopped in we had no issues and enjoyed our dinner. You can pretty much guarantee at this point that your order won't be received and your driver will either be stuck waiting or bolt leaving your order delivered much later than expected. There are several Napoli on the Bay stores. This one in Crayton Cove has one of the best pizzas in Naples. I get a simple plain cheese pizza. It is truly NYC style with thin crust, gooey cheese and tasty sauce in the right proportions. Try to eat it right out of the oven. They have sidewalk tables. Nearer to my home is Napoli on the Bay III in East Naples, and it is not as good. The crust in still nice and thin, but there is very little cheese or sauce. It's OK hot right out of the oven, but if you take it out by the time you get it home the cheese has completely dried and the lack of sauce makes it taste more like a pizza cracker. I wish the home store would do some quality control on this site. i would buy pizza from there weekly if it was as good as the base store Crayton Cove. read more

It just so happened that the two of us we're in the neighborhood right at 12 noon (lunchtime ) and we figured it was high time I decided for myself. My daughter and her husband, ordered dinner from there to be delivered. However, I think it was the livingston rd location. My daughter spoke with the owner and explained just how bad our food was. The stromboli was soft and very soggy, the pizza was salty and soggy and the chicken wings were not crisp. All this was ordered crispy! We have ordered here many times, and now we will go elsewhere. When I order for my students at school, the kids always ask where the pizza is coming from. Upon hearing Napoli, they are not only relieved but very eager for the opportunity. Great incentive. Their gluten free is especially amazing. They serve varieties and each one is made by hand with expert chef precision. One could not tell the difference in taste and texture compared to a wheat dough. Staff is always friendly, eager to please. Food always arrives on time, ready and hot. The new location on 103rd street in North Naples is tucked away in a little corner of a tiny strip mall. It is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it specifically. Tried the place twice since opening. Had two different pizzas which were both just OK. The pizzas look very good, but the flavor is lacking. That in itself isn't too much of a problem, but the service is a real issue. It is never acceptable to walk in any establishment and have a person behind the counter just look at you and say nothing. Not a "can I help you" or a "welcome" or anything. Just a blank look on the face of the young lady behind the counter while she sits on a stool and waits for you, the customer, to make the first move. If it isn't bad enough that she makes no effort to make anyone feel welcome the rest of the crew is even worse. The guy in the back, not the pizza maker but the other person who prepares other menu items , stands around listening to his ear buds and reading his cell phone. He never looks up either when a customer enters. The actual pizza maker looks like he wants to kill someone so I suggest not even trying to engage him in conversation. Overall the feeling is that the workers just don't want to be bothered. Any decent establishments offers its employees SOME TRAINING on how to treat a customer. Making customers feel welcome is equally as important as having great food. When you have mediocre food at best, and unwelcoming service at the same time, you have a recipe for failure. While these folks have several other pizza restaurants in the area, none of which I have been to, I am hopeful that this location and its poor training is just the exception and not the rule. Train your people to make your customers feel welcome. read more

I can not believe this place doesn't have more stars and reviews from other people. This is hands down the best pizza in Naples. I am from New York City and believe me I know good quality pizza. I've lived in Florida for years now and have tried many different pizza spots and have only found one place even close to Napoli on the bay and that's super Sardos in Saint Petersburg. I make a trip down to Naples to see my aunt with this pizza in the back of my mind. We always go and split a pie. They have opened multiple locations in the past few years.
