Perfect pint of Guinness and a shot of Jameson.

Whenever I want a perfect pint of Guinness I stop into Napper Tandy's. Their food is really good too. I've tried the fish and chips, eggrolls, wings, Reuben, grilled chicken sandwich. Everything is delicious. The vibe is exactly what you'd expect from an Irish bar and restaurant. Service is always great.

Let me tell you, I never would have thought little ole Angier would have had a place with food this good! Our server (Avery B) was very attentive, kind, friendly and willing to entertain my shenanigans and answer all of my questions about their dishes. Even to go back to the kitchen to ask the cooks the questions a make sure my meal was just right! Give that girl a raise...5 Stars. The layout of the establishment was well and adequately decorated to fit the Irish pub theme. The ambiance was very well what you'd expect a full pub restaurant to be, but still reasonably able to hold a conversation without yelling. Now let's discuss the food. I was able to have a true Chicago style Italian Beef sandwich (yep in an Irish pub) with proper giardinara peppers which they diced finely for me upon request! If they would add just a teaspoon or two of the oil the heat would probably be just right. As for the au jus, they even provided me a bowl enough that I could dip it myself, where the bread held up extremely well. I have to mention the fries, probably the best possible fries in all of Lillington and Angier combined! My wife chose to have the Irish beef Stew, given it is a cool November evening, this was absolutely a spot hitter! It comes topped on a mound of mash and together alone would have been enough for her to eat for two days. It also comes with a side portion of the most delicious soda bread, that in and of itself was a delicacy! Truly a dish to take your time and enjoy. We finished the meal with the Guinness chocolate cake. It is decadent, glutinous and absolutely divine and large enough for three or four normal humans to enjoy. We are not normal humans when it comes to cake this food. Bottom line, I'll be going back for more of their dishes and you should too!

Decent food offering. Frequent Nappers monthly. Table service has always been acceptable. Missing, is my full beers. At $8+ each, fill my glass!

The food was great, the service was fantastic and the ambiance was my kinda place. I can't believe I have lived so close to this place for the past 11 years and have never been here. This is our new place to hang out and enjoy good food and music among other activities they have. Nov. 11th is Veterans Day and it's all you can eat crab legs. Definitely going to be there.

Get the poutine. Just do it. The ambience is great and it definitely feels like an Irish pub. The interior is perfect and the service is friendly. My only slight critique would be to lower the music a bit.. my ears are pretty sore after dining here.

Loved my lunch here yesterday with my dad. We were seated right away and the place was packed. They offered a brunch menu, which apparently is served on Sundays from 11-2. We ordered fish and chips, a lager and a chocolate avalanche. The chocolate avalanche was delish, tasted like a chocolate martini. The fish and chips were perfect! The fish was fresh and crunchy, the fries were crispy and delicious as well. Our server Parker was wonderful along with the server who was assisting him. We will definitely be back to try the brunch and a Ruben too! It was such a great dining experience!

South western pasta with blackened chicken breast, absolutely amazing!

This place was amazing! It's a wonderful neighborhood bar/pub/restaurant in the middle of downtown Angier, NC which in of itself is a wonderful little town. the place has a great open vibe and layout. TV's everywhere! when we were there the crowd was varied and all having a great time! I enjoyed a wonderful southwest pasta dish with blackened chicken. It was amazing. Our server was soooo attentive even though she quite a few tables. she was there whenever we even thought of making for something. Definitely a repeat for when we go visit our son! Love it!

    Big open bar.

First time here and very impressed. Tavern feel, friendly and fast service coupled with excellent food! Tried the Reuben Melt and wasn't disappointed. Bring your appetite when you come

Rueben. Half sandwich as we shared the plates. Slaw.

I had absolutely NO idea where to start or even the questions to ask. I searched, read about and investigated so many different places to hire, and always walked away with the feeling that I was just another customer. That was not the feeling we were going to accept for our very important day. We were determined to make our day one where everyone was as happy to be there as we were, including our caterer. Our friend Lori introduced us to Leisa, and we are eternally grateful. The very first meeting with Leisa convinced us we were going to be working with her. She put us at ease immediately stating that it will be what we want at a price that will fit our budget. She didn't disappoint! Here's the kicker... Leisa showed up to find that most everything that was promised to work at this event place was in fact not working or was not working up to expectations... but we did not find out about these issues until AFTER our ceremony. That's right, no excuses, no bellyaching and most importantly no worries were revealed to us while we were busy trying to get everything completed for our big day. She even gave us samples of her delicious treats while we were setting up the hall and always with that beautiful smile on her face! Leisa Newby is a true professional! She was an integral part of our very special day, and also took time to talk with our family and friends about her wonderful spread. Each item was delicious and beautiful... and perfect. You will be making a wise choice with Everyday Gourmet, and wonderful friend with Leisa Newby. Most sincerely, -Michelle Locke and Kai Hellyer

Cooking at home for a large group sounded even more daunting, and I'm no slouch in the kitchen! With one phone call to Everyday Gourmet, everything started to fall amazingly into place. Leisa took great care in talking through choices and options to make our family dinner completely customized - from finalizing the menu, to working within our budget; she made it all very easy. Once the evening was upon us, we were all very excited...Leisa came in like a modern day "Mary Poppins of the kitchen," while we visited over drinks in the living room, wonderful smells started to waft through our home, and delicious food began appearing...it was delightfully surreal. Leisa interacted with our group perfectly by explaining the food and answering questions, and she complimented our evening with her professional and likable disposition. When the night was winding down, I walked in to find Leisa drying the last of the dishes - to my amazement; my kitchen looked exactly the same way it did when she'd arrived!! I wanted to applaud. And off Mary Poppins went with a smile on her face... Tell everyone who will listen, call Leisa at Everyday Gourmet!!! Thank you once again , we'll be calling you soon ;) Paige Cummings, Roswell GA

The scones and sweet breads and spreads were very good, but the sandwiches were not. We chose the triple decker ham and cheese and they used the end of the loaf for the middle slice. Our second sandwich was mozzarella and sundried tomato and basically that's all it was..on your choice of bread. The salad was iceberg lettuce with a couple cherry tomatoes, onions and Chinese noodles. For dessert, we were served three small cookies and a mini cream puff each. The cream puffs were obviously the frozen kind you can buy at Sam's and two of our cookies were burnt. Our groupon clearly stated that our meal included a glass of champagne. It was also printed on our menu. When we asked about it, we were told that it doesn't include that anymore and if we wanted a glass, it would cost an additional $3.50. We were glad we didn't spend full price for this meal. It definitely would not be worth it. The food was ordinary.
