Party of two, Friday. Place wasn't crowded. Had pad woon sen, and my friend had a curry. They were OK. Service was good, which is how we push this to a four star. Had crab rangoons, they weren't really fried correctly, leaving a gummy and doughy taste. The ingredients were good for both; lots of veggies for the pad woon sen. Stopped in for a quick lunch. The place feels cool and crisp on a hot humid day. The menu had a page of lunch specials, so I chose one. With tax it came to $11. I also got a small salad with my meal. They offer a spice level of 1-4, I got a 2 and barely tasted any heat for what it's worth. I would return next time I'm in Xenia. Probably would get an appetizer or a soup next time too. A lot of construction going on nearby, a real distraction. Went in for a late lunch. No other customers at the time. The staff was very friendly and polite. Our appetizer s came pretty quickly and were very tasty. The main dishes were good and well portioned. I thought it was a little pricey but overall a good choice. We will try something different from the menu the next time we're in Xenia. read more

Food here is amazing! Picked up lunch from here today. It was ready quickly and the taste is fantastic. All the spice and citrus and freshness is forward in every bite. When we arrived we were confused about the construction barriers up, but figured out the entrance. The restaurant was quiet with only a few other patrons. We got the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and they came out in a jiffy with a flavorful dipping sauce. I got the cellophane noodles with tofu and my husband got the stir fry with shrimp. I ordered little bit spicy and he ordered medium which was a little too spicy for me. I took home half my noddles and enjoyed them just as much the next day reheated. Everything was delicious. One of my favorite places to eat in Xenia! If you are looking for Thai with a flare this is not for you, this is what I call good homecooked Thai; it hits where you care...taste. I will caveat that not every meal hits the mark, but that is also personal preference in some ways, for instance, the curry is not thick (watery) with lots of vegetables, but it is coconut milk based and full of flavor and I love crunchy vegetables so fits my tastes very well. My all-time favorite dish here is the Panang Curry with the Mussamun Curry a close second. The flavors packed into those bowls always amaze me and I love it with level 3 or 4 heat. The tofu is very good here so that is my go to protein so I cannot speak to the other protein. Other favorites are the Freshy Rolls, Crab Rangoon, Thai Fish Cakes, and Tom Yum Noodle Soup. For the noodle dishes my favorite is the Spicey Noodles (I was not the biggest fan of the Pad Woon Sen). I tend to stick to my favorites because I love them so much but I also enjoyed the pineapple fried rice and the sticky rice with mango for dessert. Finally do yourself a favor and add a Hot Ginger Tea to your order, the pot serves about 3 people (enough for two cups for 3 people) and is the perfect blend of that ginger burn with sweet honey finish. If you have time dine in, as a local fan I would love to see more people packing in the place! read more

Our 1st visit to this new restaurant and we were not disappointed! Service was really good. They are gracious, friendly, attentive, fans more. Our food was delicious and of course, abundant. Lunch tomorrow will be as good as it was tonight. The chicken, beef and shrimp in my meal were tender. I had hot spice (above mild) and I'd not go lower. Don't be leery of going hot. As far as atmosphere, it's pretty basic. I'll cut some slack since they're practically brand new. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed either. Nara Thai Kitchen in Xenia just opened and I went there for my birthday with my 3 young kids. The food was awesome and the staff were friendly and attentive. I had the green curry and the Tom Kha soup, which was amazing! The spring rolls and (imitation) crab rangoons were also very good and not greasy. My two oldest kids had chicken nuggets and fries and a strawberry drink. They were happy, we were happy minus our youngest being way too tired. The food also looked really good and had nice crisp veggies. I'm so glad this place opened up! I'll be a regular. read more
