She used organic / homemade henna, gave me extra care items and provided great advice on aftercare to make sure the stain was as dark as possible and lasted. Naseem is a GEM! She's been doing my eyebrows (threading) for several years now. In the past few years she's done my hair henna and henna tattoos as well. She is amazing. She is a natural artist, and she loves what she does and it shows. Most times she knows exactly what I want before I even tell her. And it's always absolutely perfect. She's very easy to talk to, and she's so fast! She is always responsive - usually responds to a text within the hour. She is flexible with scheduling, and always punctual. I get compliments wherever I go on eyebrows, hair henna and tattoos. I walk around with her business cards at all times - and I stock up with more cards each time I see her for service. I have referred several others to her who also love the work she did for them. I bring my family and friends here when they come from out of town and want their eyebrows done or a henna tattoo. For Eyebrows -she respects a thick eyebrow - and doesn't thin them out too much (unless that's what you want). See my pics. My brows are perfect! Skip the mall thread shops - go see Naseem!!! For Hair Henna - she uses only natural body art quality henna. She also mixes in a blend of herbs and teas to give me a well rounded color. Note that the color shows up on my naturally black hair because I dye it once a year, so the henna color shows up on my color treated (faded) hair and the grays. The henna does not change the color of my natural black hair, the color does not (and should not). It does relax my curl pattern slightly as it should. For henna tattoos - she uses only body art quality henna, and she is SO fast. She is just amazing. TIPS for visiting - her salon: This is a fully equipped home salon. There is no signage, so don't be surprised by that. Just ring the doorbell. Also, note that you park in her community parking. It's cash only, so don't be surprised by that either. Had the displeasure of meeting her at the Shaadi Showcase on June 30. She was doing henna for the attendees at the showcase. When I had asked her to do henna for my little cousin she responded that she was only doing it for brides. This would have been an understandable response if it weren't for the fact that I saw her do henna for other girls who weren't brides before AND after I had asked. People like this should not get service from anyone. When you attend a shaadi showcase as a vendor you should be open to providing services for all. Absolutely unacceptable! read more
