Nash Painting completed refinishing our kitchen cabinets. I didn't say paint because they take this to a new level First the scheduling and timely arrival was excellent. They came on time and covered everything just to remove the cabinet doors and drawer fronts. These were taken to their "shop" where they're completely stripped and spray painted. The boxes were painted on site but the finish is excellent. Doors and drawers fronts are remounted. I opted for new hardware which really made a difference. These cabinets look new! The whole process was done professionally and the workers are courteous and obviously competent I highly recommend Nash Painting! read more

From way over priced on an estimate that they didn't stand behind, to not recognizing the type of finish previously used, to the jacked up price for fixing what was their over-site to start with, to confusion over what would or would not be done, to the horrible uneven finish work, and god knows what else I haven't even found yet. I am someone who usually does as much of my home work as I can myself, but I was not willing to lose my sanity painting the entire exterior of our house. When I started looking for contractors, It was clear that there were a lot of companies out there that would get the job done, but none of them seemed to be as concerned about the details as Nash Painting (they estimated 3 -4 days and others were 1-2) and on top of it, they would stand behind their work with their lifetime warranty. Throughout the quoting process I must have changed the quote at least 10 times - adding, removing, getting a few things in writing - they assisted happily every time. I hired them and work started at the end of October. Linda in the office was on top of every detail of the job and was willing to run down accurate answers to the hundreds of questions it seemed like I brought her. Matt, who was on site every day, was great at communicating with everyone and made sure every and any concern I had was addressed with Martin & his crew and that everything was being done in the correct manner. Bottom line - I don't like hiring contractors because I've been burned with some contractors not following through on their word, but this is not the case with Nash. As you get older, your attention moves from the latest cocktail bar to what blinds look best on your house. It's a fact. Home ownership and adulthood... what a pair. The good news is when you need to make important adult decisions, there are sites like Yelp and businesses like Nash Painting. Here's the spoiler alert: painting your house is expensive. There really is no way to avoid it. It's just one of those things. So, if you're engaging in an expensive endeavor, you need to make sure you're dealing with an ethical company who hires good people and uses a top-notch product. That's Nash Painting. From soup to nuts, the people at Nash Painting were patient, considerate, friendly, professional, and efficient. It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted and how I wanted it done. I doubt that I was the ideal customer. I took too long to make decisions. I waffled. Never once was I treated with derision, frustration or nastiness. Not once. It may seem like a small thing but when preparing to spend $$ for something not easily changed, it's a process -- and the Nash Painting crew went through that process with me. Darren the carpenter came out to my home prior to doing the work to walk the property with me, ask what I needed and gave me insight in to how he planned to do the work. Led by Jose and Sergio, the guys were prompt (that means early... but you have to be in this awful Middle Tennessee summer weather), diligent, thoughtful, hard working, and meticulous. They took pride in their work and it showed. They arrived early and stayed late, working the entire time. They applied several coats to my home and did so evenly and professionally. My house has several odd peaks. Rather than making excuses about not being able to do the work, they got on ladders and made miracles happen. Unlike some other reviewers, I had zero issues communicating with them. They asked me questions, showed me what they were doing and kept me up-to-date about the whys and hows of their work. Polite, friendly and gracious, I was happy to provide them breakfast and have them at my home. The end result is a home I am extremely proud of. It pops. The color looks better than I imagined (after a brief freak out that I chose the wrong color) and I've had several neighbors ask me for my painters' contact information. My home looks fantastic and that's entirely due to the folks at Nash Painting. Even better, the work is warrantied for 10+ years so if anything crops up, I am not fearful that I'm on my own. Don't waste your time!!! I called the number listed on their website and spoke to a woman who said I could be scheduled for a certain day and time. I arranged everything to accommodate this time and 2 hours later 'the scheduler' called me and told me the first number I called cannot schedule appointments, they just take messages. Although I had already arranged everything based on the first phone call she would not honor this. I called the first number back and the woman said she would be happy to have someone call me back. After talking with her it would be the same person who said she would not honor the original date and time given. What a joke and a complete waste of time. Why have a number to your company go to someone other than a company employee? Why would this third party schedule something and then you not honor that. I cannot speak to their work, but if this is how they do business then I would stay as far away as possible! I can't imagine what you would have to do to get them to call you back if you had an issue. Using a third party to answer your calls is a major red flag for me! read more

I have used Nash painting for interior and outside jobs over the last 8 years. The painting always looks great and if there is a problem the owner stands by his work and makes it right! He is VERY honest. Once he quoted a job and when he went to buy the paint it was on sale so he passed the discount on to me. The painters are always on time, very polite and clean up everything before leaving each day. I used one other painter when I first moved here and there is no comparison in the work. I recommended them to my neighbor and she was also very happy. She said they even finished the work ahead of schedule. We had three rooms painted by Nash Painting. The first and most important complaint is that they subcontract their work. The individual who came to paint had no connection to Nash Painting, did not speak English, did not even know what paint he was supposed to use, and was generally not set up to succeed. The person who came to inspect had no idea what to look for and was unable to ensure quality performance from the subcontractor. We would point to multiple spots that were either missed or needed to be repainted and the inspector would agree but had failed to notice. For a reasonable price these guys are ok but at the premium price they are well below average. I will not be using them again. We had high expectations and Nash Painting failed to deliver. read more
