The salad came predrrssed and the dressing was a little tart which is okay, if you like that. I think in the future I'll ask for the salad on the side. A nice variety of ingredients and textures were included in the salad wbich was more of a side salad and didn't have proteins. This was fine we had a lot of proteins in the meal! The potatoes were exceptional! My husband loved the dessert! The gravy was good as always!!!! We are so grateful to Walter for doing all the heavy lifting this year regarding Christ as dinner! It was all pre-cooked and all we had to do was reheat it. The drawback was the filet was difficult to reheat and have a pan sear yet keep it medium rare. I figured out how to pull it off and it was remarkable. Even the next day there was so much meat which we rarely eat and just heating up a pan high heat with vegetable oil and searing for a couple of minutes did the trick! The food and service were outstanding! Two ladies showed up at my house with everything needed to throw a party. Food, plates, utensils, a water dispenser and ice bucket. I provided the drinks and a cake, and these ladies took care of everything else. When it was time to cut the cake, they did it for me. They cleaned up everything and left my house in the condition it was in when they arrived. The food was a huge hit: four cold appetizers and four hot appetizers. I wasn't going to hang around but I decided to get something to eat and get back to the hotel and get a restful night. I'm glad I stayed. I was served the most eloquent business lunch ever. The sauce itself was decent and comforting, but it could have used more peanuts for that rich nutty flavor the dish is known for. Not bad but a little underwhelming in my opinion. The Phuket Orange Peel Chicken was probably the most underwhelming dish. Felt like it was basically sliced nuggets with canned pineapples chunks, onions, & bell peppers. It was not terrible by any means but it did not feel like it was made with much love or depth of flavor. This place might impress someone who has never really tried Thai food before. For me it was more of a meh experience overall. Not bad but not something I would go out of my way for when I am craving really good Thai food.
