The park was quiet at our reservation time of 5:30pm on a Saturday but it was still very hot in the mid 90s. It got really busy later when the Glow in the Dark event started. These courses are not easy like so many children's ones are. In fact, even the blue level (which allows 11-13 year olds had super challenging elements. One that I was barely able to complete. I need to work out (upper body) for 6 months before considering the black and double black courses. Prepare for some bruises and some challenges and all-in-all a great time. The zip lines are so much fun and the green course that had many different zip lines became our group favorite. The shop is stocked with drinks and snacks (popsicles were amazing in that heat) and my son absolutely loved eating s'mores at the camp fire after our climb. They treat the property for mosquitoes but they use a natural treatment so I still recommend bug spray if you will be there around dusk. You will have to use a Port-a-potty for the bathroom but they weren't too scary. We will definitely return in the fall when the temps are cooler!

Being there with a toddler meant constantly moving to maintain supervision. But it was laid back and everyone was nice. We made a reservation but it was not crowded on a Wednesday morning, even with rolling start times. Outside patio space was small but cute, but also concrete - just something to be mindful of if you have a kid who goes headfirst into everything like mine. The entrance is adorable but the play space isn't closed off from the lobby. They have a little rounded mini doorframe for littles and my kid thought it was hilarious to go in and out. The place isn't big enough that they are going to get very far, but I was surprised it wasn't gated. More expensive than play cafes I've been to in other cities, but still worth a stop if you're in town with littles.

We hadn't made a reservation but they take walk ins if there's capacity. It's pay by 1 or 2 hours per child. Kids need to have grippy socks or there are some for purchase there for $2. They also serve coffee which is great. While the play area was small, my 4 year old niece had a great time running around, playing with the toys, and going down the slide a million times. It seems like the only indoor play area in this part of town. A great place to go when it gets hot outside. Looks like they have events for kids as well.

There's a nifty little elevator you can use to get from the bridge to the park too. It's well-lit but a bit dirty/smelly. But it looks cool! They also have outdoor concerts here occasionally. Usually just local bands--the big names are at Bridgestone Arena and the Ryman--but the smaller name bands are often better anyway! No seating, so bring a blanket. There's also a little picnic area right by the box office under the bridge. This is no fancy park with tons of nature, but it isn't supposed to be. It's a great balance between a park and urban life. Once you're ready to get back into the city, just walk back across the bridge and you're downtown again! I love the view of the Nashville skyline from this park too. 100% recommend.

I actually bought a membership this year, mostly to get discounts on the adult events, but I've used it to visit during DinoTrek and when people are in town. I absolutely love the Sips for Species series and will go as much as I can. I think it's a great deal and a fun way to spend an evening while supporting the zoo. Zoolumination is always nice and brings in people, so I'm looking forward to doing that again this year.

My wife is a huge Disney person and absolutely love this and wants to come back for a second trip. Also, this is the first time I've been to an immersive experience, and I've actually liked the merchandise they have for sale in the lobby. We definitely walked out with a few Mickey Mouse mugs and some coloring books for the kids. This place is hard to find on your first visit as the entrance is located on the back of the building, facing the parking garage. By the way, the parking garage at faces that's all free parking for guests of the Lighthouse Art Space. This place is in the bustling neighborhood of Green Hills, so there are plenty of places to eat afterwards. Have fun!

My puppy Olive (pictured) was bit by another dog yesterday (5/17/26) around noon while my boyfriend…read morewas walking her by a dark brown Shiba Inu looking dog named 'Hachi'. The owner was a woman around 30's/40's with brown hair and she was with her mother and her two children (maybe 5 and 8ish). She acknowledged my puppy and allowed her dog Hachi to go straight up to mine with no caution. All of a sudden she says "leave it" to her dog Hachi and it bites my puppy directly in the throat area. She then says her dog "had growled before at other dogs but never bit another dog before" and my boyfriend took our dog to the vet but they weren't able to do a full exam. It's a good 1/2" puncture wound on my puppy's throat/neck area. My boyfriend unfortunately didn't get her information or call animal control/non emergency to make sure her dog Hachi is caught up on its rabies vaccine etc. If you saw anything, frequent the park/live/work in the area and recognize the description or this sounds like a family that you know please reply to this. My puppy is so young and I'm so worried for her. Thank you, and please be safe at this park, I had a lot of people telling me that there is a dog issue with off leash and aggressive dogs.

I'm an avid gym goer and have seen a ton of different gyms over the years and nothing has measured up to this. Indoor track, indoor pool, indoor field, countless group fitness classes, Racquetball courts, squash, a rock climbing wall, different cardio & weight rooms... need I go on?! I'm an especially huge fan of their group fitness classes, especially spinning and Zumba. I haven't been to a single class that has disappointed me. It gets particularly busy during the beginning of the semester but levels out as the year goes on. If you google the Rec center, it has a live feed of how busy it is too, just in case you're not looking to throw some elbows trying to get your workout in. I also learned this past weekend that if you're a vandy student, your family can work out with you for free. Definitely a resource you should take advantage of if possible.
