My child got a stomach bug after going to this place and spread it to our whole family. This place is filthy.. it looks like nothing has ever been cleaned. I should have read the reviews!!! It's a good concept but I found this place to be extremely chaotic- WAYY too many toys in several play areas to even move around or use anything. The indoor play structure was neat for kids 3-6 and my 18m old son loved the many riding & push toys, but all of the toys looked like they were old and had been donated. I don't think they've ever cleaned the toys here, and that bugs me. Love the concept and have been to many places like this before, but this one isn't being run properly. The most annoying part was when we walked in, the person at the counter laid out some rules: keep shoes on, don't climb up the slides, and no outside food. Seems reasonable... except for the fact that the same person was tending to a group of kids while working that seemed to be her own children, who were breaking EVERY SINGLE ONE of those rules! This place is an awesome spot to bring your kids to and let them burn off some energy. It's essentially an indoor park which is great for rainy days or during the winter when it's dark at 4:30. The ppl leaving bad reviews about "its to chaotic" or "its dirty" are just being absurd. What isn't chaotic about a bunch of kids ages 1-7 or so, playing together? Who wants to take their kids to a place where there's rules about having fun and being wild? Can it get packed? Sure, and if that is a turn off for you don't take your kids there during peak times. This was the perfect place for my grandson and I to escape the heat. It was clean and gave my grandson a fun place to burn energy without overheating. Skip it if your kiddo is less than 2. The "younger than 2" area was grubby and depressing. And, even though there were signs posted everywhere about "younger than 2 ONLY", I saw two parents allow their 5-8year-olds in there unsupervised which was total chaos. The staff didn't do anything about it. Pros: -It's indoors -It's $9/visit Cons: -Dirty toys that looked donated from Goodwill. Caked-on filth on beads, balls, carpets. Snacks scattered around on the floor. -Grubby floors and walls. -Disgusting changing table in the bathroom. Not the fold-down plastic kind most places have but a cloth-covered table covered in stains. -Low lighting and a couple of blinking/flickering lights. Odd and creepy. -Checked-out parents sitting against the walls on their phones allowing unsupervised kids to wreak havoc. This place needs more than a fresh coat of paint and a new stock of toys. The management looks checked-out if they're letting it get this bad. Skip this place with younger kids. read more

I like the idea of this place, but it seems to be an excuse for lazy parents who just want to sit on their phone and not watch their children. Literally every single parent but a few just sit glued to their phone. I understand encouraging independent play, but get off your A$$ and watch your child. My 2 year old was playing with a Melissa and Doug lift the flap board and a much older boy ran up and pushed a flap down on her finger and pinched it in the hinges. She was screaming as he purposefully pushed down harder, and then ran off and started tormenting other kids. I had zero clue who his parent was. My daughters fingernail is coming off and it looks like it may be broken. This whole place is just a room full of unsupervised children going completely wild with constant injuries. Would you send your child to a daycare with zero supervision? No. Then why would you come to this place? Will not be coming back here ever. read more

My kids love this place! I'm confused by older reviews saying it's "dirty" and depressing because it's been clean and well-lit every time we've gone. Maybe they remodeled? The place could have been great with all the shops, boards, doll houses, toys,etc, but nothing was organized. The equipment for the shops, firehouse, doctors office was all scattered throughout the venue. Many pieces of equipment were broken. As toddler fight pits go this is probably the best pay one I've been to in this state. I'll point out I've never paid, just have been invited to parties so I have no idea on the pricing. The setup is cool, there's a little town to play in, lots of toys scattered around, and a treehouse with a slide and climbing stuff and just a lot of fun stuff. It's unfortunately thoroughly been rode hard and put up wet though as you'll find things that have been beaten to death by loving children past (such as the car elevators,) and some of the dolls look like they're silently voicing "kill me, killllll me". My daughter loved it. That said, having been to a significantly better pay one in another state which is how I shall judge all toddler pits by, I'd suggest the addition of low toilets for the kiddos, another freaking bathroom as two for 30 kids + probably 20 adults is just painful, one-way mirror in the party room so you could see what's going on outside in the toddler wasteland, pizza, and one of my favorite additions of the best place ever - wine. Not sure that can be done in this state, but damn it was fine in Oregon. That said, there are also not enough parent seats where you can see everything, and in one place you could there was a trash can. Overall good for a two or three year old. read more

I only give the 3 stars because the place itself and employees are fabulous. I've regularly came with my daughter and grand kids and they always have a wonderful time. But as the other reviews state the other parents are the real issue here. I've sat and talked with the staff a number of times and there is only so much they can do. If they intervene with children rough houseing or not following rules they get bad reviews for being rude, if they don't intervene they get bad reviews. I honestly feel for the staff. Most of the parents just come in and set up shop at the tables with computers and work, not bothering to watch their kids at all or they are on their phones. When staff do try and politely address parents or kids on following the rules the parents just let their child resume the same bad behavior as before. I understand this is an indoor playground and kids are kids and with that said the staff do their best, they have posted rules, with the chaos that goes on daily the place is well kept, if parents would be more involved and watch children and not allow them to break the posted rules and helped keep their child from hoarding and moving toys all over without placing them back....it would be even better. read more

I went yesterday with two preschoolers, ages 3 and 4. When we first went in, I was delighted with everything that I saw. My kids started to investigate and play! After 10 minutes, it appeared that all hell broke lose. Three or four children between the ages of three to eight began riding the toy cars, as fast as possible, barreling these cars in front of and parallel to the treehouse where young children and toddlers were were coming off of the slides, creating a very dangerous situation. One child took his car and purposely went as fast as he could, into the glass window at high impact. I looked around, with my mouth open, to see if a parent or employee was going to intervene. No one did anything! Around the third time this happened, I stopped the child and told him to stop, and explained that it was dangerous. That stopped him for maybe 20 minutes. Kids were running and screaming and knocking down other children, as well as anything the other children were playing with. I won't be back as I appeared to be one of only a few who was responsibly watching and correcting dangerous situations and unkind children. The employees there, and the other parents, need to do a better job of watching their children, and get off their phones. This was ridiculously chaotic and dangerous to have paid $15 per child for admission only (nothing extra). Don't bother if you're a parent who actually parents. You'll be further disappointed in society. read more

I love The Monkey's Treehouse! It's a great place to take kids in the Nashville/Brentwood area. There's a big kid area and a blocked off area with a gate for babies and toddlers under 2 years old. We have the unlimited membership and also enjoy their classes. We love the Music class they have on Wednesday at 10am. Highly recommend! read more

Not what I expected. Thought it would have more interesting things for my young girls to do. Basically a big area with a ton of toys around and a treehouse in the middle. I could see the draw of breaking up your day with the little ones where they play with different toys and you don't worry about clean up. The toys were heavily used and thrown everywhere. I certainly think this place is incredible and glad it's easily accessible. I'd like to start by saying here in Nashville and outlying areas we don't have the access to fantastic places like this. I loved here from Las Vegas and we had multiple indoor facilities like this and they thrives due to the extreme weather we have in Las Vegas. Let's talk about a few things here as well 1. I don't care where you are or how much you clean things when you have an extremely concentrated amount of children and adults you will have dust, wear and tear on everything. 2. A small business is not easy to run and maintain 3. Good luck finding anything else that offers you a facility and space for the price/convenience. I think monkeys is incredible. I hope to see it continue to grow thrive and prosper! 5 stars because of the staff location and affordability. I am sure as time goes by and it becomes more popular. We had my 3-year old's birthday party here and let me tell you....if a slumber party would have been permitted, nobody would have left! Even the adults loved it! It's a really cute venue! Party room big enough for 30 kids and some lingering parents. You are allowed to bring your own food....refrigerator/freezer available along with enough countertop space for your edible spread. No microwave or oven :(. The girls working there are very helpful with corralling the kids to eat and at passing out the guest treats on the way out. Conveniently located across Costco! Def recommend it for kids 7 and under! ;) read more

I wish we had one of these in East Nash! My son and I like to come here on rainy days. Once's he's in the door he goes on and on and on. There are so many things for the kids to do. From the toddler area with the ball pit (his fave.) A craft/color station, The various imagination/dress up areas, the HUGE indoor treehouse with slides, and toys all around. The only downfall is that its far, but it's next to Costco so I can kill 2 birds with one stone. read more

This place is great!! My 13 month old had a very fun time. This is the perfect activity when it is too hot to go to a park. I love the toddler area and the fact that they have a LOT of different cars so many kids can ride/drive at the same time. LOVE The Monkey's Treehouse! The people working there are always so nice. My kids (ages 2.5 yo & 9 mo) really love it there. There is a separate area for my younger one full of activities. (Only thing I would suggest: corner covers on the tables). If you go online you can find pics of the place. My older one can stay all day. From the lightbox with magnatiles to the slides to the pretend stores in the back...this place covers it. There are even adorable murals on the walls and cute kids music going on. Although my grandson thoroughly loves going there, after 4 visits over the last several months, I am compelled to document MY observations. On three of our four visits, there was only one employee present and her job was to primarily work the front desk. I witnessed her going outside to smoke, vape or whatever every 15 minutes, during these breaks, NO employee is actually inside the business and I did not observe any safety/security camera monitoring/recording. On our 4 and last visit, an employee or owner had a German Shepard puppy (on leash) mingling in close proximity with the toddlers. As a Gpa, I do not want any dog close to my Gson or present where food/drink is served. Finally, the walls, floors, rest rooms, play stations/equipment, toy cars/trains/stuffed animals are in dire need of "DEEP CLEANING". read more

We've been coming here a few times a year for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, today was our last visit and I won't be giving gift cards for here anymore. This was my toddler and preschoolers Shangri-la. Now, there are so many missing pieces and broken toys among very few choices. We were accustomed to fully stocked garage, grocery, and post office with lots of riding toys and a remote control train. Broken train, three riding toys, and a few plastic bananas just didn't cut it. Final straw: plentiful and very comfortable adult seating has been replaced by hard and horribly uncomfortable benches and strange cardboard furniture. I'm glad we had this place in our toddler hey day. Hopefully, they can invest in making it awesome again because the mamas need a freaking break! read more
