However, with the planning of a wedding and the uncertainty brought on by Covid, it didn't look good. In stepped these incredible planners. To begin, Anthony & Denise spent time with us learning what our dream honeymoon was. We told them what we envisioned our perfect trip to look like, and they ran with that vague vision and added to it their deep understanding of Italian locales. And they NAILED it. They learned that we valued food, wine, and history in our trip - along with great views. We started with 3 days in Rome seeing as many sites as we could and eating at an incredible restaurant each night (Anthony will not steer you to the wrong restaurant - EVER). One of our first planned tours was with a local that took us on a food tour of Trionfale, and we ended our time in Rome with a guided tour of the Vatican. Both are a must for a first trip to Rome. We then travelled to Tuscany, where they had the most incredible view in Cortona waiting for us. We enjoyed a must experience 6+ hour cooking class, wine tour, and more incredible restaurants. I could go on and on about how great all of this was but it'd be a book. The main thing is that every guide, host, or chef that Anthony & Denise sent us to were the kindest, most knowledgeable, and welcoming people we could've possibly hoped for. We ended our trip in Florence. It's a vibrant city with plenty of history, but that doesn't stop it from feeling very modern & fun. Our apartment had a courtyard with an incredible view of the Duomo at night. There's no way I did the experience justice in these paragraphs - you have to see it for yourself. And the best way to do it is with Italy with Bella. They have a deep love for Italy and travel, and it shows in their trips. They've tried the places that they send people to. The owners/operators of many of the restaurants and tours are friends with Anthony & Denise. All we had to do was give them a vague idea of what we wanted out of our honeymoon and they delivered WAY beyond our expectations.

I'm sorry to share a negative review of Signature Transportation. We booked them for our 200-guest…read morewedding based on our venue's recommendation, and it turned into a disaster. The booking process was frustrating; it was hard to reach Molly Griggs, and after several conversations, we reserved one mini XL (50 people) and one super coach (57 people). We confirmed a detailed schedule multiple times well in advance, including specific pick-up and drop-off times. On the wedding day, while I was getting ready for our 5 PM ceremony, I learned that our guests from Harpeth were on the wrong bus and at the wrong venue. This was incredibly stressful, as these guests were key family members, including the groom's uncle who was reading during the ceremony. Our ceremony was delayed as they rushed to arrive. After an investigation, it became clear that Signature Transportation had forgotten to pick up our Harpeth guests. The guests were in the lobby at 3:50 ready for a 4:00 pick up. Signature was no where to be found, but a grayline super coach was there. Our guests got on that bus, as they figured it was for our wedding. Signature arrived at Harpeth hotel at 4:17 pm (cameras at Harpeth have evidence) and only picked up 1 person, as 25 of our guests were on the other wrong bus. Dana tried to say there wasn't a specific time in the contract to pick up the Harpeth guests, but the trip manifest clearly states the bus arrival was earlier at Hilton to allow enough time to grab Harpeth guests for a drop off at the venue by 4:30pm. The stops are clearly stated and shown in the trip manifest. I spoke with both Molly Griggs and Dana Taft, the manager. We received a partial refund, but it didn't reflect the stress caused on our wedding day. Dana stated that "feelings" weren't part of the contract, which felt dismissive. The service was not fulfilled per our contract, but Dana disagreed with that statement. I hope no one else has to experience this. Despite our clear communication with Signature, they failed us. I recommend looking for a more reliable transportation company, as planning a big 200 out-of-state wedding is stressful enough.

I hesitated to ask questions because their manner wasn't very welcoming -- it almost felt like I wasn't really treated as a customer. The trip itself was action-packed -- as expected, there was a lot of walking. Since this was my first pilgrimage, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. While it was enriching to visit so many sacred sites, I didn't feel I had enough quiet moments to truly pray or reflect. I don't place that entirely on 206 Tours; October was close to the end of the Jubilee year, so there was a big influx of pilgrims from different countries. With that many people, it's understandable that things felt a bit rushed. We also changed tour guides three times, which may have led to some miscommunication and a lack of consistency throughout the trip. It would've been nice to have one steady guide to provide continuity and spiritual leadership. We stayed in four different hotels. The first one was fabulous, but the quality went downhill after that. At the second hotel, I was placed in an accessible room with a bathroom that was uncomfortably high, and since I shared a room, we were only given one key, which was inconvenient. The third hotel was extremely small -- really cramped -- though the fourth one was much better. Overall, I'm grateful for the experience and the opportunity to visit so many sacred places. I just think 206 could improve on personal connection, communication, and hotel consistency to help pilgrims feel more cared for and comfortable throughout the journey. But I think what affected me most was the customer service experience at the beginning. It set the tone, and I wish it had felt a bit more welcoming.
