This review is for Nashville's Wedding Bar Service. What's a wedding without an open bar? With our venue, they had a partnership with Nashville's. We only had to meet with Nashville's once to get everything set up. They have three packages to choose from. We went with the middle package. You can either pay by a running tab or by hour or even a combination of both. We did a three hour package then paid cash after that. Nashville's provided two bartenders for the night. Both ladies were well versed in alcohol and very polite. At one point there was a line dance on and one of the bartenders was dancing behind the bar. My husband made her go out onto the dance floor and dance with us! She loved it and so did we! As soon as the night was over I let the bar know their girls were great! Definitely a great place to go for an evening drink or to book a wedding reception with! read more

First time here... quiet-ish Tuesday night. Drinks were fairly cheap. Karaoke was fun. Found a game room upstairs and we were excited for darts. It became apparent after a little bit of time that some regulars were watching us who pretended to be friendly (to us) and acted like they didn't know each other or the place at all. I watched. Engaged us in fair game and seemed to be plotting something mischievous. Coming from Baltimore, my spidey senses tingled and I caught them conversing and talking about us. I like to have a good time... I wasn't drunk but pretended to be. After my boyfriend beat them, they became angry and dispersed. Beware of this place. I had fairly bad vibes the entire time I was there. Easy targets for young college kids. I'm sure it's a good time for some but nice try... I would find somewhere else to go if you're especially from out of town. read more

It's been a while since I have had their food but we were looking for a place on Uber eats that does steak since we wanted to order in for Valentine's Day. Nashvilles does a good rib eye steak. Honestly the food was delicious! I had a burger and it was was amazing. My boyfriend's Mac n cheese was a bit watery but what can ya do really? The ambiance was to die for and everyone was having a blast. I do just wish the lessons for the line dancing were a bit more complete beginner friendly. Formerly "The Roost" I was a little skeptical when some friends wanted to head here on a Saturday night. This place was recently remondelled. The bar is now in a new location and it a long bar rather than a 3 sided one. The place was packed! They charged a cover of $5 for the 2 bands starting up about 8:30pm. Price of a bud light was definitely affordable. I cannot vouche for the food as I have not tried it since the remodel and name change. Downside, the bathrooms were not updated. Still just 2 lonely stalls in a very, very, very cold ladies bathroom. read more

I enjoyed Nashvilles for awhile as their college night is a great way to meet people in your communities, however the bouncers have no respect for woman's needs, they do not allow people to leave and re-enter. Seems like a standard rule, but in most places, you can leave and come back in case of an emergency. It is really disappointing that they do not allow women to leave to grab necessities like a tampon, and re-enter. If this was the case, I would EXPECT them to at least provide feminine products in the bathroom, or have them on hand if needed. No one wants to go home because of this. I had to sit outside for 45 minutes trying to get ahold of my friends to leave, in 40 degree weather because I was told I could come back in after leaving, and that was not the case. The atmosphere is great and most of the workers are very nice and respectful, they take good care of their customers. Bouncers, do better, or change your rules. No woman should have to go home because she cannot get ahold of a NECESSITY. read more

My friends and I have been coming here almost every Wednesday for months because they offer $0.50 special on chicken wings and they're AMAZING! Leah is usually the bartender and she has been fantastic, super friendly and cool even though my bf and I dont drink or order alcohol etc she still treats us extremely well. (That's not always the case when non-drinkers go to bars, especially as regulars, we've been ignored at other places because they know we just want sodas.) We play pool upstairs in game room with other regulars. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because of pool table/equipment, missing a fee balls, only one rack, one table is missing the thing that stops the cue ball from falling out if you scratch, etc. Otherwise AWESOME place for an affordable night out. read more

My husband and I stopped by for a beer. We were not planning on staying for the live music. The cover charge was $5 a person. The bouncer was kind enough to let us in for free since we were not staying long. If we weren't so tired from traveling we would have stayed and eaten there. The food looked amazing- the steak the gentleman next to me was eating looked juicy and delicious (which he confirmed) and his salad, a huge portion, fresh. Another person was eating a burger that looked great ($10.99 with fries). The draft beers were only $4 for a 16-ounce. Good deal. If you are in Rochester and you want to go line dancing then you want to go to Nashvilles. It's super loud, and a little divey but they could probably double their volume if they had more bartenders working (or opened the upstairs bar), and added more seating. They play great music and the crowd is lively; so you are bound to have a good time if you like country music! They have darts, pool tables and some seating upstairs too, so even if you don't dance you can get in on the fun. read more

I don't live far from Nashville's but I never think to get food there. I've had friends rave about the food and how it's made in the restaurant and not frozen. Since I'm Practicing social distancing during this Covid-19 outbreak, I decided to grub hub some food. I got the bacon blue burger and it was delicious! I didn't eat it right away so it was cold by the time I got to it, which only goes to emphasize my point. I also got a side of mashed potatoes and it was nicely buttered and seasoned. The flavor of the fish fry we ordered was amazing! However we got 3 and the fish piece sizes were all drastically different. Two of them being extremely small for the price. Had a great time there on a Saturday evening! The family gathered there for my Grandson's Birthday. There were 14 of us there for appetizers, dinner, and drinks. The staff was great! The waitress was amazing handling all our requests and even the Chef came out on his own before we ordered to tell about the menu and specials. Later he came by to check on our meals. Great food! I will start by saying the whole dive bar appeal is lost on me but who doesn't enjoy cheap drinks. Am I right? The only reason I came by is my friend loves this place. Country music and the whole atmosphere was not something I would really enjoy. However, I am there and the server Renee was very friendly. She was patient with me as I was trying to figure what to drink. I eventually tried the Apple Pie Moonshine that they make on site. Oh that was one delicious shot of tasty alcohol. The upstairs section was not yet crowded so hung there with my friend. Didn't play pool but if up there next time, might play a round. After a coconut rum & pineapple juice, with 2 Apple Pie Moonshine shots, my bill was only $10. I think I was there during happy hour. Either way, you had me at cheap drinks. This place looks (and feels) like it has not been cleaned since the 60s'. The bathroom was one of the nastiest I have seen, felt greasy. My arm stuck to the table and when I used a wipe to clean it off, I cannot even describe the color on the wipe. Also, when I called for event info and asked if they were requiring proof of vaccination or mask wearing, they said their policy was "we don't ask, you don't tell." So irresponsible. Food below average. The bartender was nice enough, she might be their saving grace. Really sad because this could be a unique enough place, they just don't care. I know places are short staffed, but cleanliness is important for health of your patrons, do it in shifts if you have to but, do it. read more

They add charges to your bill and don't honor advertised specials and leave untrained waitresses on with no supervisor. My first time there the other night with friends. The waitress wouldn't honor their advertised special because "didn't know how to put it in the computer." We spoke to a manager and she said would honor the deal. when we got our bill the girl didn't plus she added a charge for $2 to my bill for added chicken. I didn't have chicken. When I said something to her she she said she couldn't do it even though the manager to her to. Of course the manager had left. She continued to argue with me. Very bad customer service. She said she'd give me her employee discount which was 50% but I was Still overcharged and ended up paying too much. My friends got over charged too. Great place for live music with friends if you're a country fan! First time here- The band was really great the Saturday night that I went & they played all my favorite country songs. Although I didn't dance (because I don't know any of the line dances) I loved watching other people dance. We played pool & darts & enjoyed the music. If you're looking for a country bar this is the spot in Rochester. They have a big stage and dance area, bring in good music talent and have good drink specials. Thursday nights are especially busy but each night seems to draw a good crowd. The owner seems to be a real good guy and they do a good job promoting shows. read more

I went to Nashville's on a Friday evening to see a friend's band from 6 to 8pm. I brought my partner & my little girl for dinner. The place is spacious, the staff was friendly, and the food was good. There were specials on the menu ranging from fish to steak to ribs (not so much for the vegans here!). Prices were reasonable, though the wine selection is limited to "Barefoot." We had the fish fry for $9.99. It was a large portion, fresh, crispy, not greasy and served with awesome fries! I got a side salad for $1 and it was fantastic! I wish they had crayons or something fun for the kids; my daughter was bored. The wooden tables and booths were clean & comfortable. Parking was good. My only complaint was the volume of the music. WAY TOO LOUD! Even "good" music can be overwhelming...impossible to have a conversation. read more

They also offer beginner bootcamp lessons on Monday nights. The music is a perfect mix of old country, new country, and top 40s/pop. You'd be surprised what songs they've created line dances for. Just beware, the crowd here is interesting to say the least because you have regulars, college kids, families staying at connected Days Inn, and hicks from the out-skerts of Rush all in one place. This place is OK. The only 'country bar' in Rochester so it has that going for it. Sometimes it seems the people that go there are trying too hard to be 'country' but Rochester isn't really country and the true country people hang out at their townie bars so I guess all is good there. I paid for a "private party" for my daughter's 21st birthday in the upstairs room. It cost me money to reserve the space and more money to have a bartender upstairs. No effort was made to keep other bar patrons from using the upstairs (despite my being told that the upstairs would be "blocked off"). The bartender was there maybe two thirds of the time. And there was a large loud bouncer who went out of his way to be intimidating and rude to the kids - and to me. The kids had fun in spite of Mr. Nasty - dancing and playing darts & pool. But I could have saved myself A LOT of money and the kids would have had the same experience. Don't fall for their "private party" gimmick - total rip off. read more
