We went to this bar in a Thursday night, in July, and the bartenders had run last call at 10:30pm and closed at 11pm ish. They had decided to close the actual bar so they offered cans. The place had 30-40 people in it. I think the staff was trying to go out early. Either way, you can't be a recognized establishment and close that early. The place looks great, well designed but if you want to be in the big leagues don't let the staff run patrons out because they want to go home. read more

6/29 In town for nephews graduation and heard great things about this place and the food. Service was God awful. Server could answer no questions we had about the menu, did not even know what was in the house wing sauce. She was downright rude and acted as if we were inconveniencing her by being there. read more

I am a big fan of anywhere that loves the Buffalo Bills as much as I do. But this place is actually very cool. They have a huge screen showing the Bills games. All of the TVs are showing the game - at the separate bar upstairs too. The drinks were really good. Bartenders were all very prompt and friendly. They made us mini beers which not everyone has. There's a T swift themed bathroom. Yeah this is a Bills fans dream come true. 5 stars. read more

I really like beef on weck. The beef in weck here was amazing. The service was very good albeit I haven't been here in 6 months and didn't recognize any of the staff so the turnover much be significantl. The ambiance remains the same. Excellent sports bar set up and look that allows for both small groups and large crowds to watch or talk. read more

Stopped in during Fairport canal days and had the Waffle fries covered in queso and bacon. This was excellent. There was a little spice to the fries or queso but very good and not over powering. Highly recommend this appetizer. There also was a bottle girl giving out free shots. Can't go wrong with that. read more

Really surprised by how good the food was here. Wifey got a bourbon bacon on bacon burger. Sonny boy got the garlic parm wings and garlic parm fries (apparently that's his jam) and I got the garbage plate burrito. Everything was good. I'd reorder all of it again. Especially the garlic parm fries. Definitely want to try the buffalo sauce on the wings next time. Service was great. I can't remember the waitress' name but she was nice. The place was packed, especially for 3:45 on a Saturday, and it was loud inside. But the outside seating was empty and it was a beautiful day out, so it was great. Went on a Monday night in hopes of enjoying some trivia and good food. The servers were kind, but the speakers were terrible, and they played music the whole time, so we very legitimately couldn't hear the questions. The menu was super disappointing as a vegetarian, my only options were the two $14 salads. The house sounded good because it had waffle fries on it but it was very legitimately a side sale worth of spring mix with about four waffle fries and a single slice of tomato. That's it! Our first trip to Tin Cup, and we already want to try more of the menu. Our favorite item hands down is their onion rings. They were so crispy and perfectly cooked inside. They were battered as opposed to a corn meal crust. So delicious! We also got fried green tomatoes, which were delicious with a thick crunchy coating. They came with an avocado ranch sauce, but I would have much preferred a spicy ranch or remoulade sauce, which is what I've always had with fried green at any other restaurant. Soft pretzels were hot and salty and chewy. I didn't get the feeling that they were homemade, but they were good. While I did appreciate the fact that they came with two sauces, I didn't love them, but that's just my preference. Others might. They were bacon queso, and jalapeño mustard cream. Husband's steakhouse smash burger was really good and a little crispy. A perfect balance of mushrooms, and onions, and the garlic aioli with steak sauce was a great combination. It came with match stick sized fries. The garbage plate burrito wasn't much different than a wrap. It could be eaten with a knife and fork I guess, but I managed just fine as a hand held. The meat hot sauce on it was perfection. Love - extra napkins at the table. Didn't love - our appetizers came out at the same time as our meals did. Fun, upscale sports bar. When walking in, it has so many large TVs and full of bills memorabilia setting the tone. We were able to make a reservation for our large party. Our waitresses were attentive and frequently checked in and refilled drinks. I ordered the bourbon bacon on backn burger with parm fries. You definitely need to upgrade to the parm fries. They are crispy and add an elevated level to the boring plain fry. My burger was juicy, the bacon was crispy and hit the spot. It was the perfect place for groups of all size but can be on the louder side. read more

Let me start this by saying that I have been coming to this location ever since I was legally of age. I literally downloaded yelp just to leave this review because I am still in shock. This server is very lucky that I didn't get his name or else he would most certainly be no longer employed at Tin Cup. This bartender(mid 20s white male, beard) wasn't disrespectful to me, but it's what I heard him say to the other bartender that left me disgusted. He said that he was tired of (n words) coming in and causing a big issue and always being so loud. He then doubled down by saying that it would be a much nicer place to work if it was just all white people. HE THEN ALSO SAID HE'S TIRED OF SERVING GAY PEOPLE!!(but he used the f word) As someone who is not white, this was very hard to hear considering I've always loved coming here and have always felt more than welcome by all the staff and people also just having a good night. YOU GUYS HAVE AFRICAN AMERICAN STAFF MEMBERS TOO. I will not stop letting people know about this until I know that he is no longer working there. I also refuse to pay money somewhere who can't even make sure that their staff is FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. I have to confess I am a regular at Tin Cup. I love that it is a Buffalo Bills bar first and everything else comes afterwards. Game days are crowded, loud and sometimes insane. Other days and for different sports they do a great job with special events, drinks and Menu items to keep the customers engaged. Their Masters promotion this year was a big hit. Finally when I did , I was never asked for a side , never brought water and never followed up on how is everything .Waited 22 minutes for another drink where I then asked for my check .Molly, who apologized and also bought a round of drinks for friends she knew without a manager comp was done in front of me before I received my check. I was told the transition was in place . Um, you tell every guest the transition is in place and not assume. Tell your guest your shift is over . Giving away the bar . How common in this today's world . I consult in this industry and travel all over the country to support restaurants in hotels and resorts and help develop training and standards yet the mom and pop places employees give away and steal daily . I asked where in the area can I get a drink and watch a football game and I was actually recommended another establishment. Delicious cocktails and really good bar food. We will be coming back again especially with out of town friends and family.
