She doesn't know whether cancer runs in my family, heart disease, diabetes, asthma, etc.... She had no desire to ask any questions. Her first words were "what are your major complaints." I actually didn't have any complaints, but our family doctor retired at the beginning of the year and we needed to find a new doctor and an elderly neighbor recommended her. My husband has already canceled his upcoming appointment with her and I will NOT be returning. For a doctor to not even ask for any medical history a first appointment is absurd. Her manner was very brusque, rude and I left feeling humiliated by her due to a medical condition I have. Her exact words about my condition were " What's up with that? It's ugly." And for some reason, she seemed to think that an unusual symptom I now have is from a medicine I've been on for 17 years. NO. She also didn't seem to know much about a condition I suffered from in the past two years. Well I don't know what country you're from, but that is not how a doctor behaves. I'm also leaving this review on my health insurance website because they ask insured folks to rate the doctors. You can guarantee I put everything and more on my insurance website. Please, don't go to this witch.

I have never had any issue making an appointment with her, and what totally blew me away above and beyond is that she provides her patients with her cell phone number. She is accessible at all times. Of course I would never take advantage of this, but it is reassuring that I don't have to jump through hurtles to get find her in case there was an urgency of needing her attention. She, herself, sends you a reminder text message to let you know that your appointment is that day. She calls you to make sure the new medicine you are on isn't giving you any negative affects. She is an amazing listeners and genuinely cares about your well being. I am speaking from my personal experience. To have a doctor who is as hands on as she is blows me away. I have never had that type of service. She's not a concierge doctor either. Hours are great as well. Her practice is open Tuesday-Friday from 12-7pm. Every other Saturday they're open as well. IF you can't get in during working hours; it is nice to have that extension where you can get there after the fact. She is my primary care physician, and I am happy to have her as that.

Just came back from my and my husand's first(&last) visit. The day was Sep 09 2011, as you know…read morethat week this region had heavy rainstorms with a lot of road closure - but we did leave early, had to take a long way around, and called them to notify that we could be a few minutes late due to these conditions. They never said anything on the phone but to come on in, so we kept on driving, and arrived 10 minutes late from our original appointment time. When we arrived and gave our name, the staff didn't turn us down, so we assumed that they knew we are the people called earlier - well, we were wrong. AFTER filling all the forms, they told us that the doctor won't see us because we were late. WE CALLED TO LET THEM KNOW! If they had said so on the phone, that we should reschedule we wouldn't have been this upset. And then they said "you can wait here for next 2 hours and we'll see if we can squeeze you in." Uh, what's the point of setting an appointment? And do they think we have all day to skip work and just sit there? And this is what they are like on our FIRST VISIT where they should make a good first impression? Don't know about dr's skills(duh, never got to see her) but staff are very rude and unprofessional, and so was the doctor. The dr herself seems to do whatever she feels like at the moment and does not value the patients' time. Not sure how much communication and discipline the staff gets from the doctor, but clearly didn't care to remember that we were the people who called that we would be late. And if they are so darn packed they can't even allow 10 minute late patient, well then they shouldn't pack that much. In that kind of environment I doubt the quality of service would be so good. SO WE AREN'T GOING BACK AND NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. IT'S A SHAME THIS DR WAS ON WASHINGTONIAN MAGAZINE AS RECOMMENDED PHYSICIAN!
