I had such a great experience with Natale's Bagel Nosh and felt like it deserved a shoutout. They accidentally gave me the wrong order, but honestly it was close enough to what I had ordered that I didn't even think twice about it. Mistakes happen. What really stood out was what they did after. They tried calling and texting me to let me know (I had just gotten to work so I totally missed it), and when I finally connected with them, they insisted on delivering my correct order to me and told me to keep the original one too. Just incredibly kind and thoughtful, and definitely not something you see everywhere. The food is delicious, but the customer service is what really stuck with me. Meh. Bagels are not made there, they are made somewhere else and delivered to them. Small selection of bagels. Bagels tasted okay, not great. We were the only ones in the store and our orders got mixed up. Coffee service is self-serve style. The place itself is roomy and clean, so that's a plus. Unexpected surprise. I have passed this deli many times and always passed by. I tried it a few times over the past few weeks. Easy access in a lot which connects to a rear store entrance. Staff was friendly. The venue was clean. I had a bagel, egg, bacon sandwich. And coffee. The sandwich was cooked as requested with the condiments requested added. Most places cant seem to get that right. These guys did. The bagel tasted good - and bacon did not have that rancid greasy taste a lot of places do. Coffee was good. Price was fair. I was in and out in an average time. I will return and I would recommend this deli - though I can only speak to the coffee and the above item. I have not tried anything else. read more

They have really upped their game. Originally their bagels were tiny and never fresh. They either changed their ingredients or baker or both because they have turned it'll several notches! When I stop in he place is clean and the staff is very friendly. They have tables spread out and usually taken with their usual customers having their breakfast. Their sausage or Taylor ham and cheese (no egg or anything else - I'm a traditionalist) on a plain bagel is one the best in the area. They have a great deli area (quality meats and cheese) and are always prepping trays of sandwiches for orders. Plenty of parking and there are entrances in front and rear. Enjoy! read more

The New Natales Deli is located in Florham Park N.J. and is a good place to grab a sandwich for breakfast or lunch. Salads are also a good option here at lunchtime and are made with fresh ingredients. My feeling is that with so many lunch options in this area I wouldn't make Natales my first choice. In my humble opinion they make good sandwiches but they're not Great and I find their prices to be on the high side. Lunchtime parking can be a challenge in the shared parking lot in back. They also have a Catering business but I can't speak to that as I've never had a need for this service at Natales. read more

I enjoyed my cheese steak. It was above average considering some of the less tasty ones I've has in the area. The bread isn't amazing but it's decent. I'm picky about fries, they were pretty good. I also had a really good frosted brownie from here. This was my first time in the place and they were very welcoming and helpful. They also didn't seem annoyed by some of my finicky requests. On the surface this is your basic - NJ Boars Head meat style deli doing the normal fare of reasonably priced sandwiches as good as anyone else in the area. The reason I go here are as follows: 1. The best cheesesteaks in the area - great bread, perfectly cooked meat and done exactly in the Philly style. Nothing fancy just great eats. 2. $5.95 CheeseBurger Lunch Special - 1/2lb of fresh (not frozen) hamburger served on a toasted English muffin with a side of fries. Why every burger made isn't served on a toasted English muffin baffles me - it is the perfect burger bread. It's way better than Smashburger and possibly Five Guys (fries are better at Five Guys). If this place was open for dinner, I'd be there more often. read more

So I've eaten here before for lunch - basic "full service" deli with a flattop grill. For lunch it was fine (3.5 stars). However, I stopped in for breakfast today and wow, it may have been the worst bagel I've had in years. There wasn't a huge selection and they only had a handful of bagels of various kinds. The bagel wasn't stale but it wasn't particularly fresh either. The outside wasn't crisp even though it looked like it. In addition, I asked for vegetable cream cheese and they had to make it right there, because all they had was one tub of plain cream cheese. Now, based on the fact that lunch is perfectly fine, I normally wouldn't have given just one star, however, the sign says "Natale's Deli and Bagels" even if the menu and website does not. read more

Over the years, I've lunched at Natale's frequently. I've been there through at least 3 different ownerships. I'm sad to say that Natale's is just not what it once was. Today was my last visit. The sandwich I ordered really skimped on ingredients and the bread was not up to par. To top it off, the bathroom was filthy. The old Natales was not worth it, and it actually took me a while to walk in when it reopened because I felt so burned in the past. I'm glad I got over it and went in. The sandwiches are fresh, soup is yummy and the people working are delightful. The pricing now feel more than fair. This is one of my go to spots for lunch. Nothing fancy, just good sandwiches at a very good price. The cheese steaks are a little on the greasy side, but that's where the flavor comes from. Their burgers are also a little greasy, but if you don't overdo it, its fine. Their chicken filets are pretty good as well. Ordered breakfast from them a few days ago. It was pretty good. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with rye toast. They have pretty good home fries. My whole office orders from them on a regular basis and never have any complaints. I just spent about 10 weeks on assignment right down the road and this place became my regular lunchtime stop. As David M. said, the lunchmeats from place to place are basically the same, and they're fine here. I haven't tried anything but Roast Beef or Italian subs or sandwiches, but the settings are fine. Plenty of tables, inside and out. A nice breeze blows through the place. Makes for a nice break from the office when you can get out for a few. They have signs around offering free wifi, but when you try to connect, the system gives you a pin # to add to the router, granting you access. (What!?!? Just hire a high school kid to setup your wireless, okay?) And Slavic, yes you are OCD :) read more

This is one of my go-to spots for lunch in Florham Park. The sandwiches are pretty good. I usually go with the Natale's special (basically an italian sub), but I have gotten other items on the menu. The Natale's special (when made right) is a very good sandwich. The only gripe I have with this place is that it can be pretty inconsistent. Depending on who makes the sandwich, the same sandwich can be totally different on separate occasions. I have noticed major changes in the amount of meat they use to even what typles of meat they put on the Special. I find this more funny/interesting than anything, but they do always use quality ingredients. read more

Horrible experience. Called to place an order and was left on hold for 10 minutes. After the order was placed it took them 1hr 15 mins to get to my location. It's literally a 3 minute drive, we're on the same road! The food was cold and the toast soggy. On top of that i was charged an extra 1.75 for no apparent reason. Then the delivery driver had the audacity to ask for a tip. BTW, I called 30 minutes in to get an updates and i was told the driver was just picking up my order now. If I could give this restaurant no stars I would... Do not go there for breakfast or order delivery. What happened to us the other day was ridiculous. We ordered online for delivery. When we received the food, the woman delivering it gave me the box. Closed the door in my face before I could pay her. And she literally "ran away". ?? They had already called before that, saying they ran out of half our order. They didn't have the bagels we wanted and the drinks. But we were fine changing it to something they had. But since she didn't collect payment I figured they must have waived the charge. But I was so wrong about that... When we started to eat the bagels were rock hard and burnt... With butter not cream cheese like we asked. They were inedible, the egg sandwich and omelette was runny and not cooked. We ended up throwing all of it away. About 5 hours later I get a call that they NEED a credit card from me.. I'm sorry 5 hours later? So I told the manager what happened and I said I rather not pay for the food we didn't eat. And he said that was fine as long as we pay for the drinks.... I said fine and gave him my credit card number. Now looking at my bank statement he literally took off 5 dollars!!!! Are you serious? Delis are the last place I go as a vegetarian but I got dragged in to Natalie's with colleagues during lunch break one day... I was very pleasantly surprised with the result when I asked for a sloppy joe but vegetarian. It was amazing. Everything that's good about a sloppy joe with the addition of sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and eggplant (and I'm not usually huge on eggplant) instead of the dead carcass pieces (ie, turkey) between the bread slices. I've since dragged buddies there and suggested it to them for Lent on Fridays and they're also hooked on the place and the veggie sloppy joes on Friday. Friendly staff too. Excellent chocolate chip cookies. There are plenty of customers in there who seem completely pleased also, I'm amazed that Natale's only has 2.5 stars rating on here and such bad reviews, that low rating doesn't seem aligned with reality at all.
