One of my favorite metal bands, Orbit Culture, kicked off their North America tour here and there…read morewas absolutely no way I was missing it. My wife, being the supportive queen that she is, came with me. In return, I'm pretty sure I owe her a Hilary Duff concert. Sacrifices must be made for love. This was our first time at Goldfield and we honestly loved the venue. Check-in was quick and easy, and we decided to upgrade our seats to get dedicated barstools along the top rail. Best decision ever. My knees are no longer built for mosh pits. I'm pretty sure I heard them pop just watching the chaos from above. The highlight of the night was our dedicated server. I think her name was Hannah... or Ana... or something close. She was the one who checked us in and gave us the green wristbands for the barstools. Absolute rockstar. Friendly, professional, and fearless. I say fearless because she navigated through packed crowds to bring us our drinks without spilling a single drop. That deserves a gold medal. Goldfield, give her a gold star and maybe some bonus PTO. She earned it. As for the venue layout, there really isn't a bad spot in the house. I loved the two upstairs sections on both sides of the stage. Great views, great energy, and you still feel fully immersed in the show. Only heads up: the bathrooms are small, and depending on where you're standing, your journey there might require cutting straight through the mosh pit. So plan accordingly and stretch first. We'll definitely be back. Until next time, Goldfield.

I tried the Matchalorian, which was a raspberry white chocolate matcha latte. It was very good! The cafe itself is very cute! Small but cozy. It's in a great neighborhood too.

Anyway, I had the cupid's tuxedo (raspberry black & white mocha: a February special), and even though the special menu is going to change tomorrow lol (March 1st) I'd say it's safe to say that the baristas here nail the proportion of flavorings with brew in general. Not overly syrupy; it was such a well-balanced drink taste-wise! As for treats, the orange tea cake was flavorful and tender! Recommend even if you're not abiding to a gluten-free or vegan diet. The pepperoni pizza pie could use some adjustments; very skimpy on the red sauce (had to take three bites in to notice that the hand pie wasn't just downright dry) but the red sauce was super delicious. Needs more of it! Friendly and chill baristas. Coffee shop is located in Downtown Roseville; street parking or could use the nearby parking garage.

I may or may of not have gotten lost trying to find the restaurant…read more This is not in downtown old Roseville! It's over the tracks on the other side! There is plenty of public parking nearby and easy to walk to after parking. The menu is perfect and had all the tasty bites! The Mac n cheese bites was definitely a highlight. The vibes was bar but welcoming. The staff was super nice!

I opted for a hamburger and went with the San Francisco burger, which was 1/3 pound patty on sourdough with lettuce, tomato, and all the fixings. The burger itself was delicious and the fries honestly were some of the best I ever had with a beautiful crunch to them. The drinks were good and they had a very special vodka served at happy hour, so I had a vodka tonic, and it was delicious. The atmosphere is really cool and they have a pool table isolated in a little open room. They also have a patio which is shaded due to the way the sun sets, so it's beautiful, especially in the summer. They have live music and an open mike on Wednesday nights which I would've loved to stayed and listen to because we were here on a Wednesday night but just a little too early as it goes from 7 to 9. Definitely will come back to hear some other night. Parking can be a little fragile in downtown Roseville although there are plenty of public parking spaces if you're willing to walk a block or two. Overall, the building is set in old town, Roseville so the overall atmosphere in downtown has that iconic old Roseville feel. Based on the atmosphere, food quality and drink quality overall rating a 4.5 I will be back.
