Please know if this company agrees to perform work for you, they are not licensed or insured. They had falsely advertised as such on this site but it has since been removed (screenshot below). This is a substantial amount of money that the company has retained after a string excuses and promises to refund. Even though the quote you may receive from them is less than you would get from other fence companies, I strongly advise you to steer clear of them. There is a reason there are no reviews on Yelp for over a year now.

It has never looked so good after painting. As you can see from the photos, the fence has spearheads, balls, and multiple rails, making the painting process more difficult. 808 F&R carefully prepared the fence, removing rust bubbles and grinding down the the metal where needed. We flew over from California for a couple of weeks. 808 F&R was able to start and complete the job while we were on Oahu. Suli, the owner, ran the mini excavator and ensured efficient teamwork during excavator operations Sione was pure strength. He did a lot of the excavating and put up new posts and gates. A lot was accomplished because he had a good work ethic and was trustworthy in every way. Younger Sione, Suli's nephew, executed precise bricklaying while others managed cement mixing. He rebuilt the failing wall sections and also a leaning column with great precision. Task on December 11, 2024: To replace the weak sections of my retaining wall that held the terraced front area of my property. Then run 80 feet of perforated PVC pipe underground along it to relieve the pressure of excess water into an adjoining swale easement. In addition, water in my back garden area, weathered by mauka wind and rain, would pool and seep beneath the slab of my house. Menora jackhammered part of the old walkway and created slope for the water to empty into the same swale easement and away from the foundation. They also built a raised cement barrier along the house. Communication: An area of improvement could have been reviewing our understanding of the planned work in intervals. While communication could improve with mid-project checkpoints (especially during garden water mitigation), post-work cleanup with Suli's son, Suli Jr., revealed excellent attention to detail. The January 2025 storm validated their work - both wall stability and drainage performed flawlessly under heavy wind and rain. I had complete peace of mind for my neighbors below that the wall would hold and not cause damage; and that the garden-side rain would not pool towards the house. Absolutely amazing work. Father and daughter team work together as the father (the worker) speaks very little English. She translates for him and if she is not on the job site, she is only a phone call or text away. She answers immediately. (Incidentally, I didn't have to use this option except when it was time to pay; I didn't want him to leave before I paid him.). And the father is the hardest worker I have ever seen. He takes no breaks, just works continuously. And very solid, quality work, too! I could not be more pleased with the final repair job. If I could give (6) stars, I would!

1 Star - Poor Communication and Unreliable Follow-Through…read more After Hurricane Lala, my 35-foot x 6-foot fence was damaged, and I have been trying to find a fencing company willing to come out and provide an estimate. Unfortunately, four different companies made appointments and never showed up. I contacted Ron at Advance Fencing Solutions and explained the difficulty I had been having. He agreed that it was wrong for companies to make appointments and not show up. On Thursday, he asked me to text photos and provide the dimensions of my fence. I explained that I wanted two quotes--one for a white PVC fence and another for a redwood fence. He told me he could provide the pricing without coming to the property and would email the estimates. On Friday, he asked me to provide my email address, which I did. On Monday, he said he was out in the field but needed me to confirm exactly what I wanted so he could provide the pricing. I responded with the requested information. Today, I tried contacting him by text and called his cell phone. He eventually responded by telling me that he was declining the job. What is most disappointing is that after several conversations and giving him all the information he requested, he simply decided not to proceed. If he did not want the job, I would have preferred that he say so from the beginning rather than having me spend several days communicating with him and waiting for quotes. Unfortunately, his word and commitments did not amount to much. After the experience I have had trying to find a fencing contractor, this was extremely frustrating and disappointing. One star for the lack of communication, reliability, and follow-through.

I told him to provided a writtenn proposal I needed to take to our Facility Board for review and approval. As of today (9/11/25) I've not received the written proposal even though I was promised over and over I would receive one. Accordingly I texted them and said to forget it as it was fairly obvious they were not interested in doing the project. They could have least been up front in that they didn't want the project.
