Update: Two hour after I posted my update, Feina reached out to me and said that they were willing to come by tomorrow and install an additional rail at no additional cost. I'll post a picture of the additional rail tomorrow. Update: Safety inspection for senior fall prevention was done for the house. The hand rails for the steps are definitely sturdy and well constructed but home health pointed out the gap between the two base of the rail was too wide. Someone could slip under the rail and off the steps. Feina did ask if I wanted one or two rails during the estimate but I didn't know why - so I said one. read more

As the other positive reviewers have mentioned, Feina and her father do an incredible job. He is a hard worker, detailed and an absolute professional. I had a dilapidated wooden railing around my patio deck that was falling apart. When I called for an estimate, Feina, his daughter, who handles the administrative work (quotes, questions, translator, etc. as he speaks limited English) said he only works with galvanized steel and not aluminum because steel is superior in strength, durability and longevity. They fabricated a new stair railing for us. We just wanted something simple to replace our rusty old 70's era railing in Manoa. Feimei responded immediately and she and her father came out the next day to provide an estimate. I liked them and the cost/timeline were reasonable. This was so strange! After scheduling a time for me to come home from Work and meet this contractor he showed up with his wife and parked in front of my neighbors car. I asked him to move his truck, his wife translated bc he speaks zero English and she barely can communicate, he moved his truck to another spot, that was blocking another neighbor's vehicle, and it took like so long! At this point I walked over and was saying " no no this is not the spot. I just showed you. You need to park on the street". I was smiling and amazed at how terrible a driver he was and his wife was getting worked up and getting frustrated. My neighbors were gathering watching this apparently brand new driver trying to park and after I asked him for the second time to park on the street and not block my neighbors in. They both got in the car and drove off. They actually drove away because they couldn't park the truck. My neighbors and I were laughing and just saying how good the contractor could he be if he can't actually drive his truck? I do not recommend this person. Xiu, is very good at what he does he takes the time to make sure that the fence post and supporting bars is aligned and straight. Even though he is a one man operation he did a 45 foot chain link fence with digging, welding and cementing in 2 days. He also fixed my broken fence gate at the end of his second day.
