If you are in Las Vegas with the kids, then this show is a great option. We were able to book tickets through Groupon and made reservations the day before. Our kids are 4 and 6, and they both enjoyed it. The show is a little over an hour. Nathan Burton does talk a lot and pulls people out of the audience to participate. There is also some crowd participation with playing cards and a bingo game. Most of the tricks are the disappearing illusion type stuff, but it works, especially for the younger crowd. Be ready for some sales pitches as well, as he pushes his home magic kits that can be purchased following the show along with a photograph. Cash only though. read more

Phenomenal show! We went to Vegas with the entire family including our children (ages nine and six), and this was something amazing for us to all go to. The theater seats and the stage is perfect! I read some people post the Yelp reviews saying that the viewing is great no matter where are you sit, so no point in selecting the Vip seating; however he does tend to choose people in the VIP section as volunteers so if you want to be a volunteer, then I suggest that you do buy those VIP tickets! The warm up to his entrance was very fun and entertaining! He was entertaining throughout the show: from his jokes to the magic tricks! His assistant showgirls are very beautiful and have beautiful dancing abilities! This is great for all ages and we would definitely book this again! We went to see Nathan's comedy magic show. He has appeared on America's Got Talent. We were sitting in the 4th row from the stage in the middle and the seats were perfect. While waiting for the show to begin. He had a way of getting the audience to karaoke. It was a lot of fun. He was pretty funny and entertaining. The show was very good in its own. My favorite magic show was when he had the audience do a card trick by mixing the cards, tearing it, and then getting everyone's card to match. I thought that was pretty cool. I was really giddy like a little kid, lol. I enjoyed it very much. read more

This was sort of an impromtu viewing for our group. We had 7 of us and we enjoyed most of the comedy show. Getting in was a little hard for me going up the levels but wasnt bad once we got into the auditorium. The seats were comfortable for me. I thought it was great family entertainment but wasnt very funny on the Comedy level. The magic was cool and kept the crowd on edge. There is some work to do with his act but overall was good. I won't go again for any reason but that doesnt mean that you should not go. read more

It is near-impossible to imagine a magic show worse than Nathan Burton's. It is as if a toddler were given all the most-generic magic gadgets from his local discount comedy store and forced at gunpoint to perform them all in as short a time as possible. One wonders how many of Nathan Burton's family members are currently held hostage by the show's producers, and how many mandatory performances he has left in his contract to rescue the first of them, after which he will surely abandon the rest of them. This is fine for an afternoon show. The theater is way in the back of the Miracle Mile shops at the Planet Hollywood well past the V theater. The tricks were fine, with lots of audience interaction and Nathan is pretty much all over the theater. The tricks are mostly disappear contraption illusions which you can literally youtube how they are done but why would you. It's good clean fun for a family friendly afternoon show. One thing I didn't like was at the end, he did some military exploitation pre-tape segment. Basically he shows a video of him doing a trick where he sets up that a kid hasn't seen his dad who is stationed overseas. And of course, the family in the video attends a show (obviously at a better venue with better sets) and the kids dad appears in one of the tricks to the kids surprise. Tears flow. Yes, we all seen these type of videos before. Then he asks all the veterans to stand up for an applause. Me being a Navy veteran didn't stand because i find this type exploitation kind of low. Nathan, if you genuinely wanted to do something nice for that military family, you wouldn't have had it professionally shot. You wouldn't show it at each show. It's very braggadocio and self-serving. There is a possibly I've seen this show when it was at the Flamingo which seemed to have a larger theater and set pieces. If you have just one afternoon to do these type of shows, you should put Mac King first. I guess Nathan's former guest star Jeff Civillico doesn't rate an afternoon show and has moved to the evening. read more

I feel extremely guilty for wanting to give this less than 4 stars because it was only $109 for 5 of us to go with VIP seats. In Vegas, that's a modern day miracle. And so for that, I am still giving it 4 stars. But in my mind, it's really a 3 star place - we've been seeing a lot of magic shows in the past year (including at the Magic Castle, where magic lives) and this just wasn't up to par, plus the showgirls just felt like old school and pointless and just weird and embarrassing for 2018. Obviously, Vegas is well-known for it's wonderful shows of all varieties. So, as I already had tickets to see a Cirque De Soleil show later that night....I wanted to find a relatively inexpensive show to see during the day time. In comes the Nathan Burton Show at Planet Hollywood. It was $25 for two tickets and it began about 3 and last a bit over an hour. I did not come in with the highest expectations and basically served its purpose. Burton had two or three acts before he hit the stage and I enjoyed the opening acts more than the main attraction, but still it was fun. I think this show is more geared toward family entertainment with kids as opposed to adults because a lot of the humor is juvenile and cheesy. However, Nathan seemed personable and liked he wanted everyone to have fun and be totally into the show which I appreciated. It was a bit chilly in the theatre so you may want to wear pants instead of shorts inside. Even though it's like 100+ back on the strip once you exit the show. read more

You know what? I loved this show! It was magic at its finest- no crazy light show or sounds or smoke or anything too flashy. We got a discount online so we did not pay full price. However, we definitely enjoyed ourselves and the show was worth more than what we paid for! I would actually come back and see the same show because I was very entertained. I've been dying to see a Vegas magic show for quite a few years. I'm finally here with the family for a couple of days and found this show for families. We had a good time as a family - the illusions were all entertaining and the show was good for all ages. A couple of negatives, though, at the start - the theater seemed a bit run-down and smelled bad - several of us had a hard time sitting there before the show started. The seating process took a while since there were only 3 ushers and everyone was walked to their seats. The show itself was fast-paced and entertaining. It did seem a little rushed at times (could have used a bit more build-up to each illusion in my opinion), but I was glad to see so many illusions packed into a 1hr show. The mix of bigger stage illusions, close-up ones, and some audience participation was great. Having 4 daughters including 3 teenagers, my wife wasn't thrilled about having "show girls" in the act. I thought that Nathan Burton did a good job of interacting with them and telling the audience their names and things about them to show that they are his coworkers and not (beautiful) objects, but people helping him put on a show. All-in-all, we were entertained and got what I hoped for - fun, illusion, showmanship, in a family friendly environment. I would recommend for families visiting Vegas! read more

I live locally in Las Vegas and came to see the show with a friend who was in town visiting. The show is absolutely fantastic. Great illusions and literally no idea how he does what he does. Have seen other magic shows on the strip but this one literally had my jaw on the floor more than once. Also, very kid friendly! Nathan does a lot of tricks involving the kids in the audience. I have already recommended the show to friends who live here and have small kids who I think would be blown away by the show. Would definitely recommend this show! FYI- There is never a time in which you will need to pay full price for tickets as there are always two for one coupons in the Vegas book and other free entertainment books you can pick up around town. I always pick up my Vegas book at Planet Hollywood as they always have tons of them around the property. This is a cute show to see if you want something fun and high energy. It is light on the magic, mostly illusion type props that are creative I would call it more entertainment than magic. His girls that assist him on stage with many of the acts are cute, bubbly and energetic. He created and built his own props and stage equipment. Maybe time to update as a lot of them look worn as he has done the show so many times wear and tear is taking a toll. I am sure is expensive to replace his stage equipment however is a bit cheesy to me to see props that have been repaired via tape and such. read more

Got some comped tickets for a 4 pm show on a sunday so I took my kids. It is located at the Saxe Theatre as part of the Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood Hotel/Casino. Since we had general admission tickets, we were seated towards the back in the nosebleed section. Even though were kind of far away from the stage, we still could see enough to witness a show going on. This would be my second time watching Nathan Burton. The first time was when he was at the Flamingo some years back. As usual, he has an opening act start the show for him. Last time it was Jeff Civillico. This time it was the guy from America's Got Talent with the trained birds. Sorry I don't remember his name. He did a solid job as the intro to the show. As Nathan Burton makes his way out to the stage, it is nonstop magic tricks mainly him or his assistants disappearing and reappearing through out the show. It did get kind of repetitious with the disappearing acts. Each time he used different props but the end result was always the same. In the end, he saves his best and biggest magic trick of all. Dec 31, 2019 4PM show. The theater is small, so you have great seats anywhere you sit. We were in row U near the back, but still could see everything clearly. He puts on a great family oriented show with lots of disappearing people, levitation of a kid from audience, card tricks using entire audience participation, etc. The whole show lasts about 1:15 and he is very hands on. He takes pictures with everyone at the beginning of the show and is there to shake hands and thank audience as they leave. This was a great show for a family with kids of any age. read more

I bought a Groupon deal for $10 per ticket. I wouldn't want to pay any more than that for this show. It's okay, yes kinda campy, and he pitches his DVDs somewhat strongly during the show. I felt like his acting was a little awkward at times. Usually magicians are quite charming but I just felt uncomfortable at times. Also there were a lot of box tricks. He probably could mix up the routine a bit. The showgirls were basically wearing nothing during the show (showing a lot of leg). Surprisingly risqué given the family feel of the show? The guest magician was the one with the magic birds. I thought that was really cute, especially since the white bird randomly walks around at times. Also there were a lot of people that strolled in super late (like 30 minutes) so when they were finding seats they were blocking everyone's views. Nathan does a great job including the audience and entertaining all. Showgirls are classy and great, one is his wife. She's adorable and he includes his son and Mom also. He takes time after the show to pose for pictures and not just for money. I saw him sign ticket stubs. So cool to see a family act on the Vegas strip. Thanks Nathan and Family!! If we visit again you'll be on our list of "to-do's". Don't stress VIP as it didn't make much of a difference. Kids are 9,14 and 16. It's ok for all ages, but I think definitely less family-friendly than say Mac King. It's got some funny moments. There's a lot of illusions, some of which were quite good. All the humor and talk in between stunts felt very forced, though. And he pushed his DVD way too much throughout the show. The dancers / showgirls are rather lame and unnecessary. Didn't know what to expect, but pleasantly surprised by Nathan Burton. We paid $10.00 for the main floor and received great booth seats at center stage. It gave the kids an upclose view of Burton's magic act. Nathan himself seems very appreciative of having a Vegas show. I can tell he is naturally reserved, but his personality works for his onstage presence. He's seems genuine. Loved his showgirls! More importantly, the kids loved the show! The magic acts were surprisingly authentic. I didn't dig the predictions part of the show, as I thought those could have been pre-planned. But the magic acts were excellent! We were here July 17th, Sunday. A one day drive to the city called Lost Wages. We wanted to catch a awesome show in Vegas on a budget of course. What we wanted to see was $$$ out of our budget so we saw a freebie too good to be true. 4 free tickets to see Nathan Burton at the Flamingo. When we arrived to get our tickets they were out like I had thought but cheap enough that our pocketbook wouldn't feel much pain. We got good tickets that got us tickets situated in the middle and roughly four rows back. It was definitely a good show. Two thumbs up. read more

Staff were great. I'm a big gal and some seats hurt my hips. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was accommodated. We did the VIP experience which was a few bucks more but we got to see an extra little opener who did slight of hand. Armando Vera was great. First few tricks I was thinking eek this is kind of lane but very quickly I was amazed. I have no idea how he did them. The main show was pretty darn good honestly. For the most part I kept asking myself, wow, how did he do that. The funniest bit was actually done by a guy from another show with audience members and I laughed until I cried. This is a comedy/magic show which is a good way to spend an hour or so in the afternoon. I wasn't sure what to expect but found the show entertaining and the juggler who does a part of show, Jeff Civillico, is very funny and his act might be more impressive than the magician's. You can get free or cheap tickets through flyers all over the strip and redeem at the Flamingo box office. You also get discounts at a few other shows using your ticket stub, as Nathan mentions during the show. The seating in the theater is a little odd and you may have to turn our head for most of the show so ask about your seats when you get the tickets. read more
