Nathan Burton We got $20 tickets to an early Saturday afternoon show through Vegas.com. There's paid parking nearby that isn't too expensive if you use Spothero. The theater is not very big and they were at about 25% capacity, so everyone had pretty good seats. On the site, the $20 tickets were shown as the back quarter of the theater, but when we were seated, we were in the front third. Burton's show is almost like a variety show. It is fast paced and he mixes comedy with disappearing acts, escape artistry, mentalism, and close-up magic. He performs most of the show by himself, but with a few assistants for the stunt work. Pictures are allowed. Video and flash photography are not. Quite a few of his acts have a very familiar feel to them and we knew how at least half of them worked. That being said, it's a pretty good value for the money and we were definitely entertained. read more

Date of visit: September 6, 2025 Having been to Vegas so many times, I dare say that we are running low on things to do and see! Magic is not something that we have done a lot of and this trip we decided to try Nathan Burton. We have seen ads for him quite a bit over the years but magic isn't as high on our list as some other types of shows. I had no idea he was a two-time America's Got Talent winner, and appreciated the little background video that played as part of the show. However you can tell that he was used to playing much larger auditoriums than his current setup which is narrow and at our showing, not even half full. Making matters worse, we had a really lousy crowd, they were not very enthusiastic, with tepid applause and excitement. We try to hype things up as much as we can, but we're only two people. The tricks were fun and often impressive, though I could have done with a little less audience participation, especially with this group of dullards. If you're interested in the show, I would recommend coming sooner rather than later, if the one we attended is indicative of most shows, this won't be around too much longer. read more

Such a fun and fast-paced show for all ages! You may recognize Nathan Burton from the very first season of America's Got Talent. That said, he's been on stage for many years and it clearly shows! Within the 70-minute time frame, I lost count of how many tricks he performed, many of them one right after the other. He is truly a master of illusion and also a witty comedian! The show is located in a small theater that is not visible unless you walk into the Flyover building next to the Hard Rock Cafe on The Strip. Tickets started at $22, but I'd say even those sitting in the back still had a good view. The audience is relatively small and I appreciated the more intimate setting as opposed to other Vegas shows that are a huge production and packed. To sum it up quickly, Nathan's show is a combination of illusion, close-up magic and mind reading. In terms of audience participation, he does ask for volunteers and also chooses randomly on a couple occasions. There are two acts where everyone in the audience gets to participate using a bingo card and a few playing cards. The outcome of both of those tricks left me feeling like a magician myself. Some of his illusions involve contraptions that I'm sure most people have seen before, but he and his assistants still leave you wondering how they do it. I was most impressed by his clairvoyant acts that you'll need to see to believe! I couldn't recommend this show more. Given the smaller setting, tickets do sell out, so we were lucky to get ours on the day of. He has both 4:00P and 7:30P options with the afternoon one having numerous families in attendance. The Interactive Card Trick was awesome! [Las Vegas NV] We booked a magic show online with Nathan Burton because we couldn't afford a Bruno Mars show ya'll LoL! We saw the Nathan Burton magic show for the first time on December 2012 (almost 12 years ago) at the Saxe Theater inside the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino's Miracle Mile Shops. The show was still fairly new in Vegas back then and is now currently headlining Vegas for 14 years. The show is fast-paced and interactive, very family-friendly held in the afternoons at 4:00p, great audience participation. Loved the card trick at the end of the show... how did he do that?? Very cool as we all followed his instruction. After the show Nathan took photos with the guests as he did with us 12 years ago. I showed him our throwback photo we took with him back then and took another recent one with him. I bought 2 tickets last month for this show fir 5/10/2026. Unfortunately my cell phone died and the saved tickets I purchased were no longer accessible, so I called the show number and kept a message the day before the show to ask how I can get the tickets I paid for. They never returned my call ( I was able to buy a new phone but still couldn't access the tickets) so we completely missed the show. He was very good at engaging the audience and we liked that they had two shows a day with one show during the day so families with little kids can stop by to enjoy the show. Good show, but I am knocking a star off because I agree with a previous reviewer that remarked he shows this video about this kid who misses his dad because he is in the army so he does a magic trip to appear the dad to his son, the video was stupid and should have been left off the show. New venue! Highly recommend stopping here with the family. Looking around the packed house from young to well seasoned everyone enjoyed the journey. Another wonderful experience at the Nathan burton show. Fast paced action and wonderfully entertaining. Nathan captures the audience with his well thought out performance. No room for being dull every minute there's a new twist. Parking was easy to navigate and you're able to pre pay to reserve a spot. Elevators from parking lead you right down to the entrance. Keep right On the sidewalk and turn right around the corner Literally inside fly away. You'll see a big sign. Make sure you stand in the correct line. Staff was very friendly and welcoming escorting you to your seat. There are stairs! So for those who need assistance make sure to purchase accessible seating. Two showtimes available. I liked that one was earlier than most showtimes so you have the option of two different shows in one day. Family oriented! Love that his family is involved in the production. My primary complaint is that we paid $60 dollars a seat online and they were 20 bucks onsite with plenty of available seats. $120 vs $40. Makes you feel taken advantage of. Also...there were two things I couldn't figure out but everything else was easy to see, like the double backed cape...if you have young kids then go, pay the 20 dollars and you'll have fun. If you are an adult maybe find something else. And NEVER buy online. read more

Sitting at the couches on the stage made for a fun, close-up experience. Most of magic was well done, but there were a few acts that were a bit hurried so you could see the set-up (but maybe because I was looking very closely for how they were done). Don't worry, I won't ruin it for you or take points off. It's tough putting on these acts and creating the perfect illusion, most of which were done very well. He had the occasional quirky dad jokes, and as dad, I could appreciate. Card tricks were just that--they were simply counting tricks. Overall, a good time for the family and it's nice that Burton has his own family in on the operation. It was decently priced. My most recent trip to Vegas was to celebrate my kiddos 21st birthday. We had a couple of days of activities planned and one of the things he wanted to do was a show. I told him to pick a show, any show, and this is what he chose. He specifically chose this show because the show times were perfect to fit our busy schedule. The reviews looked decent and the prices were very nice. My thought process was, if the show sucks, atleast I didn't spend a fortune for my crew and I. The theater is located deep inside the Miracle Miles Shoppes next to Planet Hollywood. I wish signage was a little more visible for the theater from the entrance of the Shoppes as we wondered around trying to find this place. We finally arrived and the friendly staff was super helpful getting us checked in and sending us up to the theater. The theater itself was located up a few sets of stairs, so keep that in mind. When booking, the theater looked alot bigger than it was. I feel like there really isn't any really bad seats in the house. We were in the bottom section with a great view of the stage. When checking in, the staff hands each guest a little package of items that will be used during the show. Nathan Burton came out and was full of energy and was very entertaining. The show itself was reminiscent of other magic shows I have been to but just a little bit less risqué. It is definitely very family friendly. He engages the audience alot and the show is very interactive. There were moments where I was mind blown. I would say I got my money's worth for this show and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I'm having trouble understanding all of the rave reviews because this show is mediocre at best. Nathan came across as almost bored, and the crowd reacted similarly. At one point he showed a tear jerker of a video about a vet who surprises his family by coming home early, but does so during one of Nathan's shows. We had no idea what this had to do with the show we attended. One of the quotes on the preview screen said we should see the show now, before it gets too popular and tix costs "hundreds". We paid $27 each, and that was probably about right considering what we got. read more

Whenever I see a show in the V Theater it tends to be just okay ... I'd give this show maybe 3/5 stars or 3.5/5 stars. It's a 4pm show so that worked perfectly for our first day in Vegas. Nathan Burton is a magician and has been on various TV shows. The V Theater is very small and intimate, which was nice. The Groupon gives you a general admission ticket for the back few rows of the theater, but when I showed up at 3pm to redeem the Groupon, it turned out I had two assigned seats, which was interesting. The Groupon says to arrive by 3:30pm to claim your seats but they actually didn't open the doors until 3:45pm. Overall this was a fun show, and very family-friendly, if you're looking for a show to take the kids to. Definitely worth $20 but I wouldn't pay $30-50+ for it. read more

Seating was very smooth and easy, staff is very friendly. The seats weren't the most comfortable and if you're overweight you might have a problem. The show started at 4.15pm even it's advertised at 4pm but they waited until everyone was properly seated. The show moves very fast so you're never bored! The stunts are mind blowing. Great show but it did become a bit repetitive for me so I was fine it was over. Parking is easy as the self park for the miracle mile mall comes out right next to the saxe theater. read more

We had half a day to kill before our flight. So, I looked up if there were any afternoon shows we could go to, and found the Nathan Burton Magic Show which was only 25$ per ticket and was starting in 1 hour. We took a Lyft to the venue. The driver dropped us off at Planet Hollywood, where apparently the show used to be, but recently moved 15 minutes down the strip. Unfortunately, everyone we asked for directions to the show thought it was still in Planet Hollywood, even though Google Maps showed me the new location. One person whom I challenged on directing us to walk to the back of Planet Hollywood said, "I've worked here for 20 years, I'm sure it's there." Needless to say we finally decided to just walk to the correct address, and ended up 10 minutes late. Well, we didn't miss much because many tricks were pretty similar. The production quality was much higher than the Mac King show we saw earlier, and he had 3 pretty lady helpers. Yet, it wasn't as good as Mac King because it was just cringy. Some tricks like calling a stranger and the card trick that involved everyone in the audience were just too obvious. There also wasn't much comedy in the show. I guess it might still be worth $25, but I wouldn't pay $100 to sit in the front row. read more

I think Nathan puts an a very good show and the price is quite affordable. A lot of people are saying it is cheaper to buy tickets from Vegas.com because it is $20 but they aren't taking into account the much higher fees from that site. It is actually cheaper overall buying from Nathan's site directly. We were only in Vegas a few days and we wanted to bring our kids (age 9 and 10) to something family friendly before our flight that night. Nathan's afternoon show being at 4pm worked out well for us as most shows in Vegas are at 7 or later. There were disappearing acts and some card tricks as well as some very unique tricks with randomly calling someone and utilizing a QR code. There was a few tricks I felt were a bit of a miss but overall it was a good show and we found him pretty funny. I was on Vegas trip with two friends in our 40s and one of them really wanted to see a magic show. We chose this one because it was the right time for late leaving flight and the prices were fair. I was actually pleasantly surprised and super entertained if I travel to Vegas again with my two sons who are four and eight I'll probably take them to the show. Definitely the least exciting show that we saw in Vegas. This is definitely geared more toward little kids. But even in that aspect, the magic tricks were poorly constructed. Nathan had a few funny jokes, but the rest of the show was pretty dry and unexciting. Most of the tricks were disappearing acts, many of which consisted of having a TV screen with a fake silhouette that was supposed to "hide" the women disappearing into the back of the stage. You could see so many flaws with the show that it was rather disappointing. The deck of cards and the bingo games were all easy to see because most of the neighboring audience all had the same cards and bingo game. The card trick that he did didn't even work for us. Throughout the show, he kept making references toward his magic kit that he was trying to sell. I also thought that he was a little excessive with all of the ladies that he kept bringing on stage (they were part of his team). They were dressed for Vegas definitely, but I wouldn't want my kids watching half naked women dancing around on stage while the magician is doing tricks. It just wasn't a good look in my opinion. All in all, it was a highly unorganized and poor constructed show. My family wasn't impressed and we even saw a few groups leaving early before the show even ended. Hopefully he'll be able to change up his act, but until then, I won't be attending. I've been to Vegas a million times and even lived there. I've seen many of the big Cirque shows and some smaller shows but never Nathan Burton. And with the pandemic, everything has been shut down for forever, but recently when Vegas opened up to 50% indoor capacities, many venues came back open. Nathan Burton Comedy Magic is one of those shows. With the scarcity of shows in Vegas and stimulus monies burning holes in everyone's pockets, the prices for the show jumped up significantly. I paid $340 for four tickets, which I learned later used to go for under $20. One person on Facebook even mentioned they got two tickets for $13 once. Looking back, I thought it was a great show. The tricks were outstanding and I still can't fathom how some of them were done. There's one trick, involving the audience taking a photo of Nathan holding up a QR code, that I think I can figure out. It's a techie kind of trick and I'm a programmer so that one was cool, but simple. The delivery got a lot of oohh's and ahhh's from the audience so it worked! They had to seat every other row due to capacity limits and, well, COVID. Me and my family got our own row. No one sitting next to us. Some parts of this whole Corona thing does have its fringe benefits. Seats are also assigned so no need to get there super early. Also there were no drinks sold at the event, however you can bring your own in, even if it's a yard-long Fat Tuesday frozen pina colada. There's also some interaction with the audience, but it tends to be voluntary, so don't worry if you're in the front row and worried about being asked a question. If you do get picked, speak LOUDLY. Masks have a tendency to really muffle a person's voice, so be clear so he can hear you on the stage. Overall, cool show, but the $340 might have gone better towards an A5 Japanese Wagyu steak at one of the nearby fancy Vegas restaurants. Next time... read more

Family friendly, entertaining. Show is about 1 hour and 10 minutes long. Mostly magic tricks with slight comedy. Very fast paced. Seating is likely the best if you have a seat toward the front and middle section. There is a car that serves alcoholic beverages. No food or outside drinks allowed in the theater. We really enjoyed this show! The perfect Vegas Magic show entry point for families. Nathan is very entertaining, enthusiastic and talented. We came with a group of four kids ages five to ten and they all loved it. We needed special accommodations for wheelchair access, and the staff couldn't have been kinder and made us all very comfortable. Lots of audience participation which was a hoot! It was a really good show, but it was a little too fast pace for my liking. Most of the tricks were great some needed a little more perfecting. Especially the head spinning one. Honestly I also wish there was a little more comedy incorporated in the show. Nathan Burton's an Illusionist and all-round nice man. He was active with a few people at the show. Then, he included the whole audience into a couple little magic tricks. A quick talker with plenty tricks and showgirls. Nathan's show's a private production brought to audiences through the assistance of his mother, sister, wife (baby girl on the way), toddler son and the showgirls. He has been on tv and cable. So, maybe... you've seen him already. If you would like to see his show, there's a dvd probably somewhere online. read more
