Five hours later, I arrive at the clinic and they said they do not take my insurance. So that's wasted babysitter, time and resources when they had the time to check my insurance. They also could not even give me the courtesy to call me ahead of time for this? Totally irresponsible clinic, they told me then that the out of pocket cost for the consult is $600. At first I went through the pain medication route, which at the time the medical industry was handing out oxycodone like TicTac's. It seemed to work for a little while, but never got me back on my feet entirely. I'm cursed with the issue of not getting the benefit while still getting all the negative effects of the narcotic. A friend recommended Commons chiropractor center. Before I was injured, I wasn't a believer, I never thought it could help me. I've been to two other chiropractors prior to that, and they were either too cautious or not strong enough to manipulate what they needed to because my work required a lot of heavy lifting and my muscles were tight .
