Honestly, that was intimidating. When you have a complicated medical history and are already navigating a long healing journey, starting over with someone new can feel overwhelming. He was kind and genuinely interested in hearing me. He took the time to look through my medical history, ask questions, listen to my concerns, and talk with me about what might help me feel better. So if you're someone who is hesitant about seeing a provider who doesn't have a decade of experience remember, the right doctor isn't necessarily the one with the longest time in the field, it's the one who listens, and makes you feel like an actual person rather than a diagnosis. For me, Dr. Nguyen was absolutely that doctor. 10/10 experience. I'm very grateful he was available when I needed someone new, and I'm thankful to have him be part of my healing journey.

I had an appointment during snowy, icy road conditions and called ahead to let them know I was on my way but might be slightly late due to the dangerous roads. The person on the phone assured me they understood the weather issues and acknowledged their 10-minute late policy but didn't indicate it would be an issue. I arrived at 1:09 PM only to find no one at the front desk. When someone finally appeared minutes later, she took my name and then had the audacity to tell me I was "too late" and that my appointment had been canceled. No consideration for the fact that their own delay in checking me in pushed me past their arbitrary cut-off. Unacceptable. Patients are expected to be understanding when they run behind, but they won't extend the same courtesy when the roads are treacherous? Combine this with a constant revolving door of providers, and it's clear this clinic has serious internal issues. If you're looking for consistent, compassionate, and reliable healthcare, look elsewhere. One Peak Medical is a complete disaster.
