I went here for dinner during lent and got the fish dinner. It was good and the portion was generous. The atmosphere is kind of unfriendly as the servers seem to hover over the regular guests at the bar. Food took longer then I would have expected given the number of servers in the place and the number of people. (about half full) I asked for my check and when I looked at it and saw that I was charged for 3 beers and I had only had one. When I told the server about it she question if I was sure. I told her I had one. If i had 3 beers in an hour I wouldn't be walking. She did remove them, but the way they were on the check indicated the were put there after I order. After a busy day visiting the Pro Football HOF and the President McKinley Library & Museum, my girlfriend and I were thirsty. Luckily, Nathan's was a short walk from our B&B. Let's just say, "Boy meets dive bar and falls in love." The bartenders were incredibly kind and quick, and the drink specials were RIDICULOUS. As in one dollar Busch Light and a seven dollar "fishbowl," which reportedly had six shots of alcohol in it (it was quite tasty). I love this bar/restaurant! It's a neighborhood bar for us - close and convenient! But... besides that it has great food. Yummy, home style dinners, fresh burgers, and good salads. Awesome specials like Taco night- $1.00 a taco, Tuesday is pasta night- $5.00 your pick, Wednesday-$4.00 burger- real burgers - not pressed patties and Thursdays are 1/2 off Pizzas! With inflation- you can't cook at home for those prices. So many other specials - often stuffed peppers or ribs! I've never had their steak - but they have great prices on it too!! We don't drink much but they have specials for those many nights - 2.00 coronas on taco night, fish bowls etc! Live bands often as well as trivia nights! Saturday April 6, 2024 around 1-1:30am Nathan's Employee Joshua Davidson approached me at the inside bar while chatting with my friend, (mind you, this is my second time at this bar, I don't know anyone here except the person I'm with) and he stated to me "man I'll punch the fuck out of you" I laughed at him and asked him if he was alright. He then proceeded to tell two other female patrons what he intended on doing to me. The 2 Employees working the door told the disgruntled employee (Joshua Davidson) that this was the second time he has caused a problem. Certainly not a good look for this establishment when you have drunken employees most likely drinking off the dime of the paying customer harassing others with Nathan's name all over that gray Tshirt...I was definitely the grown up in this idiotic situation and left with no return. read more

I have seen multiple bands here, a lot of the bouncers and bartenders have been here for a long time; they are no nonsense and take no crap so for anyone complaining you probably didn't follow the rules and you are mad it was enforced ‍. Anyway, due to covid-19 they are shut down but have carry out, they didn't raise any of their prices, they still have burgers for 6.99 and fresh cut fries, family meal packs (4 steaks for $24) and you can add on sides for $10 which are huge. They've also fed local businesses who have stayed open, all around great People, support them for carry out and go visit when they open back up on the bar side! read more

We have been trying to get local places recently and Nathan's Patio was one of the places that I kept seeing specials pop up for. We tried their food on a Sunday and they had done specials that were meant for families. My husband and son wanted the stuffed green peppers so ended up getting a 4 pack of them. The peppers were huge and came with a ton of mashed potatoes as well as salad. They were able to each get 2 meals easily out of it. I tried their lasagna and got a large portion that I was able to split into two meals as well. My lasagna tasted great, came with garlic bread and salad as well. We wanted to try their buffalo chicken dip as well as jalapeño poppers and both were very good. Nathan's has recently been doing a lot of specials and family style meals which has been wonderful. We will definitely try Nathan's Patio again. read more

I was in the area one night and went just to check it out. My service at the bar was great. The pickle chips were also very good. There was a live band performance, and they killed it. Additionally, I was lucky enough to meet the owner while I was there. He was personable and willing to talk to me despite having just met me. I came here on a Belly App coupon for 6 wings for free with purchase. I ordered the wings with hot flavoring, requesting only drum sticks. What I got was 3 wings and 3 drum sticks. It wasn't my preference, but I will not complain about something free. The wings were good and not undercooked. I then orderd the special, which was prime rib. I ordered it medium, but did ask to see if I could get medium rare if possible. What I received was between medium well to well done. I will explain why in a minute. I ordered the "hot rice" which was supposed to be like Mexican rice. It was accidentally served with Dirty rice, which was really good. The cook served me the meal and when I told him about the mistake, he went back into the kitchen and got me the Hot rice. It was pretty pathetic. It was nothing more than what tasted like Pace picante sauce and rice. The service was generally good. After my meal, the cook came by my table and asked me how my meal was. I lied and said it was good. He then proceeded to say that if I really wanted good prime rib, it would be best if I came in on Saturday when it would be "fresh." I was here on a Tuesday afternoon. It has honestly been a long time since I have encountered such poor service and rude bartenders. I would normally not complain about service unless it was utterly terrible. One bartender would ignore us if we tried to flag him down (he didn't ask us for 30 minutes if we wanted something else to drink). The same employee actually threw my credit card back at me after I paid. Another bartender yelled at us because we were not quite ready to tell her what we wanted the moment she came over to us. I understand the frustration of being busy (I have worked in many many food service environments), but the employees could at least be CIVIL with the customers considering how much they charge for their product.
