Absolutely loved this place. We came here after a little hike through some trails in the state park with the pup. They have a dog friendly patio, so it was a perfect lunch time affair for us with the dog. The weather was perfect, a little windy but we were shaded by the umbrella. The food was great, my burger was cooked just how I like it - medium rare. We got the spicy pepper cheese curds, a special of the day, and they were just spicy enough without burning the mouth. The root beer was a win as well. Overall a great spot, will definitely stop by again when we visit Ohio next! read more

Lately the food has been disappointing. The night we stopped their smoker was broken so that may have had something to do with our order. The sandwich had smoked chicken that was cubed and barely at room temperature. The Carolina sauce, house made bacon, melted cheddar and Cole slaw did not stand out and seemed cold. Service was good and the atmosphere was good but chilly as the doors were open and it was not very warm. I will return but not soon. read more

Went at busy time-6:30 on Friday, so was very crowded, like anywhere around Beldon Village area at that time. Great bartender and waiter, but took an hour to get our food after placed order. This seems to be standard now though at many breweries. Hint:choose food ahead of time with online menu then order right away with first drink order so it is placed in cue. The atmosphere was lively and fun-a mix of ages, even some kids, and as a more senior patron I prefer this mix. It is loud, so if don't like loudness then go late afternoon. Food had large portions, Reuben was good but had been better there when went at less busy time in past. Previously would have given a 5 overall. Will be going back! read more

This is a group destination place. If you're a small party of two, expect to wait for a table. We were quoted 20 minutes. Took 25 mins. Walk in parties of 5 or more were sat quickly ahead of us. Plus it didn't help the restaurant was half empty. Felt like small parties are second class citizens and bigger parties are catered to. The hostess stand kept getting annoyed with us for asking about our table. When we were finally seated, the section was empty except for one table. They have a very extensive beer and drink list. Their house made root beer with stoli vanilla was very good. (I was miffed and needed a drink. lol) When our food did arrive it looked ok. Fries were good - hot and great taste. The grilled chicken wrap was nothing special. I asked for a side of ranch and they charge $1.50 for it. That seemed steep to us. Honestly, we probably won't be back. It was a disappointing experience for us. Very loud too. Kids running around as parents drank oblivious to their children. When we asked for a tea to-go, they don't do to-go cups. She did offer us a baby cup tho. The men's room, per my husband, was trashed. ~ Oh well! Hopefully you'll enjoy more than we did. read more

The place is huge, very spacious and clean, gift store with lots of goodies, brewery in house, good and prompt service, large selection of their own beers, bar food and also cocktails for people who don't drink beer. We stopped on our way to Detroit from NJ and sat at the bar, ordered a pilsner, a lager and some appetizers. Beers were awesome and food was fine too. Had the red hot and blue burger and I highly recommend it. The burger was huge, the bacon was crispy and the onion straws on it were a great touch. The fries were even excellent. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. It's a fun and laid back ambiance that would be good for large groups. I had the peanut butter stout...and it was fine. I wandered in here while on a road trip on a beautiful late September early afternoon. I had an amazing Mo Betta Beef and Chedda sandwich that featured shockingly smoky and tender beef brisket. I say that because I wasn't expecting this from a brewpub in Ohio. Shame on my prejudice. I sat at the bar and crooked my neck up at the big screens full of Cleveland Browns football and glanced down at the beer and food menu. Before I knew it, I had a half liter of outstanding Hefeweizen and a delicious sammy laid before me. All this because the gas station near my overnight accommodations does not sell beer on Sunday. Fat Head's Brewery is a brewery that I had archived in what I thought was lost or forgotten breweries I have been to. Not sure how another one got missed but it did. Well, at least it's detected at this point and I can get a review posted for it. Fat Head's is a decent sized company with a few locations in Ohio. There may have been a location in Portland, Oregon but it has since permanently closed. But onto the beer that I had here. What I had was I believe one of their signature beers, the Head Hunter IPA. Flavors to find in this fair IPA are hoppy, piney, strong in flavor and citrusy. The beer goes down smooth. I have had a lot of IPA'S in my brewery adventures and unfortunately this one I feel is more average and not all that memorable. read more

We stopped here for dinner. Had a bowl of gumbo to start. Then we had giant chicken wings, and a big pizza! The portions were enough that we definitely had leftovers. Service was fine and it was a typical sports bar atmosphere. Great if there is a game you want to catch. If not, just a lot of sports :) would definitely go back though. read more

We arrived with No reservations and was told that we would have a wait of 45 minutes. We saw several parties being turned away. We decided to wait until we received a a text. The greeting was simple but nothing that wowed me. We were taken to our table and given dirty menus and had a beer selection piece of paper that looked like it had been around for 5 years and never changed. (Nasty). I ordered a flight and it arrived pretty quickly along with another piece of old paper depicting my options by order which helped me understand my bad choices. I wasn't a fan of any of them, but I believe my opinion was influenced by the warmer temperature of the beer. It was very cool inside the restaurant so I think their beer coolers were not ideal for flavorful pours. My glasses were even chilled and colder than the beer. We also experienced lots of flying insects inside. Perhaps the beer was the attraction. My wife liked the fish and chips. My daughter liked her sandwich. I love Kielbasa and this sandwich had too much char which was made the sandwich just okay. The Star of the evening were the beer battered onion rings. Watch out for the sauce as it will wake you up real quick. Very Spicy. Unsure if I would go back as it was our first time. If I were to return it would be for the Onion Rings - Only. read more

It's been a loooong time since I've been to a Fat Head location, mainly because there just isn't one convenient to where I live. I stopped in recently with some colleagues, and I have to say, what I remember about Fat Head is totally true, they make some remarkable beers! I had never been to the Canton location before, I really liked it! It was open and airy, and despite the weird time of day, pretty busy! It was hot out, so the patio doors were all open too, which was nice, it made it feel even more open still, and had a very slight breeze. I had two beers while we were there, Crumble Berry, which is a play on their ever popular Bumble Berry, but the Crumble Berry had a nice undertone of cinnamon to it. Very refreshing on a hot day! Then I had From Canton Wit Love, which, you guessed it, is a wheat beer. It had a slight, almost sour taste to it, but it was subtle. Maybe that's from the Belgian Yeast? Not so subtle were the refreshing citrus notes, kind of lemon-y and orange-ish. Anyways, my colleague had a Black Knight, which tasted very German, it was very good, I was able to try that one, and the other had a glass of wine, I don't remember the kind, and a tasting of Pumpkin Chucker, which is their seasonal stout. She said it was very good, but I didn't get to try that one unfortunately. I didn't eat anything this trip, but I remember their smoked whole wings, their Cheesesteak, and their Burgers are really really good, gives me another reason to stop back, hopefully sooner than last time! read more

We sat at the bar , served quickly , great selection of draft beers , spiced blueberry bramble was good and I had their homemade root beer adult version with Stoli vanilla it was good. I got their French onion soup lots of cheese and onions , made with pale ale and rosemary it was very good, I got their perogies with grilled onions and side of sour cream very good. Both nice and warm on this windy day . My husband got the grilled chicken spinach salad lots of cheese onions tomatoes and spinach good ranch dressing. Games were on service was good read more

During our layover into Canton, we chatted with some locals and they suggested Fat Head's Brewery. We honesty didn't know what to expect but left pleasantly surprised. Between my daughter and I we tried a beer flight and two mixed drinks. It's been confirmed that I do not like sour beers and my daughter does. Lol The food was amazing. We didn't get to try the pizza because the oven was down at the time. If I return to Ohio, I would eat here again. We had an amazing server as well. She was so nice and friendly. The ambiance is setup like a local pub. I think the locals dine there a lot as well. read more

Made our first visit to this local Canton brewery and we were impressed! It's a big place with a very cozy feel inside and a broad selection of beers. I sampled the 'Pimp My Sleigh' which has a great description on the beer list. Too strong for me, so moved onto the Crumble Berry Spiced Blueberry Ale...loved it! It's a favorite summer beer adapted to the winter season and served with fresh blueberries. Service at the bar was prompt and friendly.
