Great experience here with my daughter. We had been planning getting pierced for over a year. My daughter heard about Nathan's toy drive and that pushed us to go in. We arrived early and met Zara. She was great! Very knowledgeable and gave us great advice. We both felt very comfortable. Store had cool display on walls and enormous selection of titanium, diamond, gold and silver jewelry. Very clean and sterile workspace. We both walked away with a sweet memory as well as helping get toys for children at Christmas. Popped in for their "Galentine" Event 2.9.25 and was welcomed warmly by Crystal and E V E R Y O N E there before the first glass of Korbel hit my hand! LOL When I explained it was my first time, Crystal walked me to the front and gave me the run down of the layout and displays. Then she showed me pieces spotlighted, and curated specifically, for this event by Buddha Jewelry. Since I perused Buddha's website the night before, I pulled up my pic of the piece I was interested in getting, but wanted suggestions for placement. Crystal was again, VERY HELPFUL in using a clear ear guide with the piece attached to hold up to my ear and show me her suggestion. I loved that she suggested the flat of my ear, so the piece would have the movement I wanted and my rook would still be available for a future piercing. I only started multiple piercings last year for my birthday. Now that I have a better understanding of healing time and the suggested curating 1 pierce at a time, it's can see this being my new BDay tradition. lol We then selected a pair for a third lobe piercing, since the lobes heal easier and can be done in multiples and because, darn it, I wanted a third lobe! For that she showed me a great collection of titanium studs. I chose a set of sparkling crystals and she again used a tool to find the proper size. Once my choices were made, she started the paperwork and spelled out everything I should expect so I'd know of my investment ahead of time. At this point, gals started coming in waves for the event, so she took my pieces to the Autoclave sanitizer and let the tech, "Zoo", know I was seated and awaiting piercing. As others have reviewed, Zoo is a doll! She checked for latex allergy before grabbing gloves and then explained the process we'd go through, from marking placement to final cleaning. Once the placement was determined, the piercing began. Third lobe first, to warm me up, then she changed out my backings from a year ago to downsize to a more comfortable, threadless size. Finally, gripping the chair and deeply inhaling, Zoo hit me with the main event. Quick and painful - but QUICK! lol I am SO THRILLED with my new ear art and I'm excited to venture back in on a less exciting day and plan some future adornments. The vibe is casual, but professional and these artists seem genuinely pleased to share their knowledge and enthusiasm for their work. I've been coming to this shop for about 10 years now, and I recently got a new piercings done by Angel he's absolutely amazing! He's so professional, gentle, and makes you feel completely comfortable throughout the whole process. I barely felt any pain at all! This review is a bit overdue. I got my tragus pierced twice incorrectly. After the first time I called and they said to go in so they can assess it, so I went in, and they confirmed the piercing was done too far out so they re did the piercing, same guy btw, and he did it basically in the same area and too far out again. I never went in to downgrade the back after the healing because I was upset but also in hopes that the healing would maybe fix the positioning once it fully healed but it never did. read more

I was a bit nervous walking in (first time being inside a tattoo/piercing shop) but I was immediately welcomed by friendly staff and shop owner Nathan. I purchased a nose ring for over $120 because I was told it came with a warranty that covered loss--even if I lost the entire item. I made sure to confirm this twice with the employee before buying it, and that assurance directly influenced my decision to go with the more expensive option. Now that I've returned due to losing it after having to remove it for military duties, I'm being told that the warranty will not be honored. That is not what was explained to me at the time of purchase. I expect the store to stand by what was promised. They are also really patient. I love Zuhayla!!! She's actually the best and funniest too. So patient and explains everything she's about to do. I am personally allergic to latex so I was pleased when she asked me if I was. Normally I tell piercers since they don't ask, but they always ask here. The vibe is funny because there's a bunch of hats on the wall and Nathan himself works there which is cool. Came here on a random Tuesday morning without an appointment hoping to get nipple piercings. I was greeted and attended to super quickly by someone in the shop and filled out all the paperwork. I really appreciated that she broke down the pricing for me and explained what the costs were without me asking, felt very upfront and straightforward. After that my piercer (Angel) helped. I was immediately put at ease with his mannerism. He was totally professional and knowledgeable. I really appreciated him explaining the process of sanitation and that the needles were single use and why. I never had a piercer explain that which was cool. I chose Nathan's Piercing in Woodland Hills because of its strong reputation for professionalism and friendly atmosphere, but my experience fell short. I was highly anxious about getting a septum piercing since I have a fear of needles. After the piercing was done, the piercer immediately asked me if I'd be willing to do it again. I thought she was making a joke and I laughed, but she actually meant it. It came out crooked and she asked if I would be willing to have it re-pierced! Although extremely distressing given my original fear and how much it hurt the first time, I agreed so it could be done correctly. At checkout, my twin respectfully asked whether any compensation could be offered given that the piercing had to be redone and was difficult for me. We were initially offered $5 off an $87 total!! We remained calm and respectful, and declined the small compensation. When the boss, Nathan, came out, he cut the conversation short in a dismissive and seemingly irritated fashion, and refunded the $35 piercing fee without listening or offering an apology for our unpleasant experience. While the refund was appreciated, the lack of empathy and warmth after a stressful experience left us feeling dismissed and unwelcome. We don't feel comfortable returning given how the situation was handled. Nobody wants to be put through something unpleasant and then made to feel unreasonable and dismissed. read more
