We even asked if this place was new and was surprised to hear it's been around for several years. We had the top floor corner room with spectacular views of the mountains. The bedding was clean, the restroom was tidy, and we appreciated the complimentary breakfast. As luck should have it, one of us forgot the Kindle in the room and didn't notice till after we drove back to Salt Lake City. We frantically called the hotel to see if Housekeeping found it, thankfully they did. However, it's taken almost a full month to connect with the right person on making payment to mail it back. So, note to self....check and check again BEFORE leaving the room!

Then Athena chose to ignore me, so I will now call the health department there for an inspection at that location (that also has a RESTAURANT....yikes!) And all 5 of their other locations. There were bugs on the walls, the bed, the TV screen while I was eating, and even one on my HAND while I was laying on the bed texting!!! Kyle was AWESOME, but Stacie (who's worked there for 7 years) couldn't be more RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. She actually got MAD because I mentioned the BUGS!!!!!!

If it wasn't in B.F.E..... and the fact that we arrived after dark... we would have kept driving. Unfortunately it was late and dark and we were stuck. We slept with a gun next to our pillow due to all the guests that you can hear coming and going. I was so worried our car would be broken in to that my fiancé slept in between checking the car every half hour. This place is not worth your time or peace. Find a real hotel. And FYI The pictures shown so not reflect the room we had. The carpet looks original to the room, there were cigarette burn marks all over the tub and I was too scared to know if we had bed bugs. That review was either wrong or they changed their room policy. They DO accept pets. The town of Price's cheap end motels all had horrible reviews as did most of the towns and cities north of here. So I had just about resigned myself (and my two dogs) to a couple hours of fitful sleep in the car at a pull off or something. -I'm driving cross country and have a budget to adhere to so I can't stay at nicer motels/hotels. Which is fine with me. - Anyways, as I was driving through Price, and passed this little motor inn style place with a vacancy sign and figured what the hell, I know that it said they don't accept pets but they looked empty and I figured I could haggle a little. Was greeted in the lobby by a nice lady. Her husband (?) then came in and they both helped me out. The room was around 40$ and then $5/ pet. So a total of about $50 bucks. Perfect for me. I asked if check out was 11am. They both said that I could check out basically whenever I wanted. Cool. Upon entry of my room I was a tad disappointed. But not overly so. The room is about the size of an average bedroom. Maybe 10x8 or a little bigger? I'm bad at guessing. The bathroom is about the size of, well, it's small. Just a toilet and stand up shower. The bathroom sink is a pedestal sink in the bedroom. Itty bitty fridge and microwave. I will say that last night when I stayed at Americas Best Value Inn in Socorro,NM I paid about the same price (after haggling them down a little) for a huge room that was a little bit more updated. But that was a different state. PROS: +Cheap +Pet friendly +Lovely people running it. +Direct tv +Free wifi that works well +Motor in style, I like being able to see my car right outside of my room + squishy comfy pillows +nice sheets + loved the comforter. Cons: -Small. Super small -Only toiletries are a hand soap and shower soap. It is a two story building with no elevator, which I was aware of. Still, this 68-year-old man dragging two suitcases and a cooler up the stairs gave me some exercise, though we chose the second floor. Adequate free parking. There is an indoor pool to the right as you enter the hotel, with the front desk to the left. There is a "sports bar"(more on that later) and a "steakhouse" on the premises. A very nice young woman checked us in, though it took longer than usual, I think due to their slow computer system. At any rate, I had to run to the bathroom and leave the final steps to my wife. The room was clean, which was most important. Beds weren't very comfortable, but they provide plenty of pillows. Bathroom and shower were small. Shower pressure was so-so. Bathroom fan was great. AC worked fine. Mini fridge and blow dryer provided. There were a lot of families attending sporting events also staying at the hotel. A lot of the kids were roaming free and making noise. We were concerned. However, we were not disturbed at night. We did go to the sports bar for dinner. This was a fairly small room with a bar and stools, some high tables, a few pool tables, and two or three TVs. They had few beers on tap, it appeared mostly domestic, but the very nice young female bartender offered a nice IPA in a can. Hotel guests get $5 off the burgers, which are hand-pressed and very good, and it comes with a side, for a total of $11. The fries and sweet potato fries were average, kind of soggy, and I like them crispy. The food all comes from the "steakhouse" next door, which doubles as the location of the complimentary breakfast, which is the usual scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee, juices, and some other choices. Not bad. All in all, this hotel fulfilled our need for a stopover on our way to see our son. At $200 a night, just an OK value.

I said the reservation has already been paid and has been paid as a pet room since it required extra on the website. They said they couldn't do anything. I stood there until something was done. The manager did NOT seem to care but they "agreed" to put us up in a 2nd level room (of note, no elevators here either). I don't know why they said there were no pet rooms and then all of the sudden did. I mean...maybe it's because it looked like this (see pics) and no one had cleaned it? Anyway stay away from this place.

I had two waffles, hot chocolate, and some sausage and my sister had some Froot Loops which she rated 5 stars, the hot chocolate was a little hot, but after a few minutes, it was ready to go. It tasted so good. THE ROOM: the room was very hot when we came here. We wish that they would keep on the air conditioning so that way it would be cool in the room when guests come in. Sleep: we got not that much sleep we got four hours to six hours of sleep due to coming here a little late but we wish that it was colder in the room because maybe we would've slept better. TV: I couldn't really turn it off. It was just pretty boring. It had just basic channels no cable and I don't like the TV. Other things to add: The shower had hot water. The shower was amazing. I stayed here because it was conveniently located right between Salt Lake City and Moab (national park territory). Only stayed for a few nights, but I had a pretty decent stay. This Super 8 Wyndham is conveniently located right off of the freeway. Not much in terms of restaurants and shops nearby, but again, this is a super small town. When I first arrived, the lady who checked me in was still in training. I arrived super late since my initial flight had gotten delayed, but they were very accommodating. My key stopped working twice while I was there, but luckily there was someone at the front desk to help me both times that it happened (it seems pretty slow here and there isn't always someone up front). Once I made it into the room, it felt pretty comfortable. The room itself (and the entire hotel quite frankly) is in dire need of an upgrade. The chair seat fabric was ripped and needed to be reupholstered, and the shower tiles in the bathroom could use some re-grouting. Super old school looking decor. I also found it odd that the sink was located outside of the bathroom, but that wasn't a huge issue for me. What's most important was that it was clean and comfortable. I had a second floor end unit, so it was pretty quiet for the most part. This seems like trucker territory as most of the cars in the parking lot were large trucks. Speaking of parking; it's extremely limited. Every night I was lucky to snag one of the last parking spots closest to my hotel room. They advertise a "complimentary breakfast" which is basically cereal and a waffle maker. Didn't partake in the breakfast as there wasn't much offered. For a short stay, it's alright but don't expect anything fancy. I probably wouldn't stay here again unless I had no better options nearby (which was the case this time around).
