Disgusting service. When i returned to bedford i was told that the flat tyre which was in no way my fault was to cost me my excess of 100gbp, Absolutely insane. So the weeks rental ended up costing me 250 instead of 150 as planned. Should have just paid extra and gone with one of the bigger companies. I wrote a complaint letter to head office which was ignored. As expected. terrible company. avoid at all costs, pay a little extra and save yourself potential insults.

Was actually upgraded to immaculate, almost brand new, Ford Focus, which came complete with satnav, at no extra cost. Wish I had had the experience of this hire before arranging my car for a Spanish holiday later this month. The drivers are always polite and some of them are quite chatty which is nice and the cars are always clean and normally only a few years old so you feel safe that it's not going to breakdown on you. All drivers show their licences and the cars are clearly marked with the firm name, licence etc. But they are situated on the corner of the high street in Bedford so they do get very busy on weekend nights and you can be queuing for some time to get home.

I called Rob (I assume it was Rob himself!?) at 01:20ish and he zoomed over to my village (Molesworth) to collect us within half an hour. He was really sweet, polite and cheerful despite being at the end of his shift and in the middle of the night. He gave us a card and said we could call him in the morning for a lift home, but when I called I was told that they don't pick people up on Sundays unless it is booked in advance. Ah well. He was still our late night saviour!

They have lots of information about Bedford and the surrounding areas. They sell lots of local produce (eg honey and beer) as well as selling tickets for local events and train tickets. I recommend this place wholeheartedly for train tickets! From Bedford to Brighton (although you can stop anywhere on that line e.g London) return costs just £12.50 - these are only available from this centre. All the staff are very helpful here although they only have a small number of staff which makes the wait a little long when it's busy!
