Have used these folks before to clean grout and they did a great job. Today they came out to clean the dyer vent as clothes weren't drying as fast. It's not their main gig but they did a fast and competent job. Arrived on time and Mark was very professional. I was disgusted by how much lint was up in the roof vent and not surprisingly the dryer is working tons more efficiently after the cleaning. I'd give 5 stars but knock a little as they had to remove the 4 inch flexi-foil duct that attached the dryer exhaust to the vertical home vent but didn't have the material to replace it. They said they could get it but it would be expensive. Fixed myself after a quick trip to Home Depot for the the flex foil duct, couple of worm screw clamps and foil duct tape ($17) but would have been nice of it was included in the $100+ price. I just had an awful and unnecessary experience with National Cleaning Company in Wesley Chapel. I was scheduled for service between 3pm and 5pm. They were a no call and no show during those hours. No one from the company bothered to communicate with me regarding their tardiness. When I called the company, I spoke with Gayle who informed me that Don would be at my home within a few minutes. Forty-five minutes later Don shows up. He never said hello and didn't bother to apologize. Not a very pleasant way to enter someone's home. I am a repeat customer and decided to contact Gayle again for a concession. Gayle was unresponsive to my very reasonable request. When I attempted to explain my reasoning, she stated that she was not interested in hearing anything I had to say. At this point, I told Don that he could leave---we would not be using their services today, or any other day for that matter. Perhaps I am old-school and traditional, but I expected the company and its employees to assert more willingness to be conciliatory , accommodating and respectful. Could not be more pleased. New puppy in the house and well, there have been a few accidents on the area rug in our kitchen. I submitted a request for a quote online and received the quote and final price the following day. I called to schedule and they were out two days later at the time I requested! The time I requested!!!! Not some four hour window. Given that it was just an area rug it was cleaned in 30 minutes and it was beyond clean. It looked better than when we first put it down. ONLY REASON I CHOSE 1 STAR IS BECAUSE YOU CANT RATE ANY LOWER DO NOT USE MARK!!!! This man came to my home and did not agree on the price that I paid last time we used him or on the price his wife quoted me when I made the appointment. Granted, there was an extra service of "sealant" that I thought was done previously, which actually wasn't...either way he told me I was "flea market people" for wanting a better price. (Is that how you treat a customer? Regardless if they are wrong?) Then when I gave him the money I gave him cash and asked for a receipt and he said "we don't do paper receipts" when they gave me a paper receipt last time he was here. Then I told him to give me the cash back and I would write him a check and he said "I'm not giving you anything back" and walked out of my house!!!! On top of that, when my son called him back later that evening because of how he treated me, while I was alone with my daughter, he told my son to shut up. And of course, my son became more upset and a heated argument began.
