She bumped into me and was staring me down like I was going to steal something.. she made me feel very uncomfortable. Everyone else on the team was great. Food was excellent and so good. Server was kind! But I have some things to add…read more 1. I asked for a taste of a unique wine to see if I liked it. Server did not disclose that there was a charge for this, I think she should have because this is not a common thing to do at all. I'm a server and I would never charge someone for something without them knowing. I consider that stealing. 2. The appetizer came out after the food which happens and I get that mistakes happen but it just added more negativity to the experience. I think it should have been known by the server the order of the meal though. 3. Clicked the print receipt button and never got a receipt? Not a huge deal but just another negative addition. Why is the button an option if it wasn't meant to follow through with the action. 4. We asked to sit outside and there was no room which is fine. But when a deuce behind us asked to sit outside, they sat down inside and when the first table was open, they offered it to the people who were seated after us. Overall, this restaurant looks nice and the service was nice. I think this place could really improve in quality and numbers if they paid attention to the details. I would say we'd love to come back because the food was so good but the point of eating out is not just to enjoy food but have a good experience and enjoy your time and money. The negatives were unfortunately not worth it for us.

One of the Best Wine Tastings We've Ever Experienced!…read more Wine Tree Vineyard is truly something special! We've been to a lot of vineyards and wineries in different wine regions and countries, and honestly, we've never experienced a small vineyard with wines this good. Every wine we tasted was impressive -- so much so that we couldn't leave without taking a bottle home! What really made the experience stand out was how much they get it. Craig did an incredible job explaining each wine, how it's made, and what makes each one different. You could tell he genuinely knows and loves what he does, and that made the tasting feel personal rather than just another wine tasting. The wines, the knowledge, the atmosphere, and the overall experience were all exceptional. If you enjoy wine, Wine Tree Vineyard is absolutely a must-visit. We've been to many vineyards over the years, and this one has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorites. Do yourself a favor and go -- and be prepared to leave with a bottle (or two)!

We arrived right when they opened, and the owner, Craig, gave us one of the best wine tasting experiences we've ever had. He took the time to explain wine in a way that made the whole experience so much more enjoyable and personal. I'll admit, my husband was hesitant when we first pulled up because the outside doesn't immediately scream "winery," but I told him to trust the process. I'm so glad we did because we ended up bringing home a case of wine with nine different varieties because we couldn't pick favorites. We loved them all. Craig also told us about their wine and food pairing dinners, which sound amazing, and his wife Candy does the meal pairings. We're already talking about getting a group together and making another trip back. Bonus: they also have a very sweet dog named Cooper who was the perfect winery greeter!

When you walk inside you get the feel that the place is out in the middle of nowhere and they like BigFoot. Arrived and was provided a list of different wines. What is unique about this place the wines aren't considered meads. Meads are made from honey, but they offer wine infused by honey. In addition, meads are sweet, these were not sweet, they were actually dry wines infused with honey. So much different. They had small foods available. Good services and nice people.

I have brought several of my grape wine loving friends to Dutch Creek and they all leave pleasantly surprised with purchased bottles in hand. Love this winery's location too. Enough away from the hustling college town to provide a calm and pleasant experience, yet very convenient to the local restaurants to make for a lovely first course to your evening's meal. I can't say enough good things about this unique winery. Their bee to bottle process rivals any other wineries I've visited, which includes those of Germany and Italy that we have enjoyed. Yelp needs to create a special category just for Dutch Creek Winery.

We didn't eat food…read more We went for wine tasting. I walked up to the hostess and said "HI, we've not be here before. Is there a certain area for just drinking wine?" Hostess, mind you, no hi, "Do you know if you're buying bottles?" Me: "No, we've not tried it. I guess probably not at this point." Hostess: "Everything is table service." I said okay and went and told my family in the car. She walked us back to a table. No conversation was had. It is a very pretty area, BTW. It was pretty quiet. It was Friday at 4 so not dinner time yet. We sat for 15 minutes, watching waitress socialize, play with dogs, etc. My husband stood up to find out about a server, and our waitress came. I dont know what her name was, but she said "Sorry no one told me you were here, hope you haven't been waiting long." She served us our flight very quickly. She came to check on us once and then disappeared. After waiting longer to try to pay, we went inside to pay. We were going to buy a bottle of the Chardonnay, but everything took forever, we gave up.
