I can't say enough about how much I love this spot. A tasting of 10 wines for $5, all of which I really enjoyed. I don't usually love white wines, but I brought a bottle home because I loved it! Jim was so friendly and made the experience even better. 12 wines to choose from, buy a bottle, a glass or share a carafe from the two wines on tap. Tons of outside seating, and you can take a hike around the property too! You can order pizza while you're there, but there are also blocks of cheese that are available, made locally. Great location, beautiful scenery, courteous staff and good wine. All we could ask for in a Winery! On a motorcycle, the extreme hill down to Sand Hollow and back up were interesting! They also have three trails (short, long and longer) for those who want to experience more of this beautiful wooded area. read more

I took my wife on a Friday afternoon and we had a great time. 5$ per person for 10 wines!! I loved the price and loved the wines as well. The owner was very approachable and kind. We enjoyed the simplicity of the winery as well as the beautiful deck by the pond and the surrounding trails. I would definitely bring friends and family here. read more

Stopped by this little place today on my way through Ohio and I'm so glad I did. Jim is knowledgeable, patient, and a great story teller. The wines were fantastic -- I'm a dry wine fan but even the "refreshing" ones were palatable. Did make it to the top of the driveway before breaking into my flatbread pizza -- but not the interstate. I visited sand hollow in July while passing through on a road trip and had an excellent experience. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. He was also very accommodating. The property is very serene, set on a small little pond with lots of room for social distancing while you enjoy a glass of wine and some little bites. I really enjoyed their Pinot Grigio and would love to come back in the future for more! read more

We loved this adorable winery in a picturesque setting. The owner gave us a charming tasting of an assortment of dry (our favorite) and sweet wines. After the tasting we took wine outside and enjoyed a glass by the pond. It was a perfect afternoon. read more

My wife and I had been talking about going to this place for quite a while but would always pass because it's off of the beaten path. Boy were we wrong. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine and the hospitality that the owner (Jim) gives. The wines that were offered the day we were there were mostly dry reds and whites. There was a collection of fruit wines as well that were delicious. All in all, I would really give them a 4.5 stars except yelp doesn't offer that option. We will definitely be back. read more

This winery is a hidden gem.. I first found out about it from one of my best friends and I've now revisited to go to wine and yoga...I just love the quiet and peaceful water front as well as the inside that has a homey and rustic vibe. I love every wine I've tried so far but my favorite is either the blackberry Pinot noir or the raspberry merlot. Jim and Cindy are very helpful on finding the wine that you will love. They really know their stuff too, which is great.. the quality of the wine is phenomenal..if I ever book a private event, this private getaway would be one of my top choices. read more
