I'm currently taking a Chemistry course. This week, I spent one hour learning chemistry on Canvas, and five hours trying to get my textbook and homework platform to link with Canvas. Canvas provides no instructions whatsoever. The professor just tells you to contact the textbook company. The textbook website says to click on a link on Canvas. Unfortunately that link in Canvas takes you to a blank page. Other students are having problems too. This is my second horrible experience with UCSD Extension. If you want to learn science, find another place to take your classes. If you want to spend hours trying to resolve technical problems, this is a great option. I wish UCSD Ext would not outsource.

Mixed up and repeated information the learning sections. The videos provided for learning are not the teacher speaking and are random people/"professors" but some of them can't even pronounce the words and sound like they have NO CLUE what they are talking about. It's quite confusing what you really need to know for the class because the modules say one thing but the PowerPoints, reading, and videos talk about that plus way more. It's very much so an overload. It's like no one took the time to perfect or even proofread this class setup and modules. Science lab kit is way overpriced for what you get. Like really for $450 you couldn't add 2 paper clips, alcohol, extra masks, more candles, extra Petri dishes with agar, and extra microbes (for any errors). We are not experts here and being left alone to do the labs especially at the beginning is trial and error. For me I accidentally punctured the agar with the loop and ruined my whole sample and it was just shit out of luck unless I wanted to buy more myself (only about $10 but I just paid $450 for this kit so why should I have to do that?). Not everything in the kit was used. It was a huge waste of money. The class is kind of "at your own pace" so you could totally finish early and wing it! I guess if you have the money and don't really want to learn but just need the class- go for it. I would never recommend this class or school to anyone. It was a terrible experience and this is coming from someone who already has a degree and has taken MANY online classes.

If you're wanting to go back to school, don't be scared.Sometimes we need that paper degree to back up our skills that we've already had. Online classes are available, four week long, flexible on your own time. I chose to get my bachelor's of arts in management. I'm ready to start may twenty six. I'm excited and I know that I have all of the tools at my access online with the student portal, tutors, the library, in any other extra help that you may need is right there at your fingertips. They also do have referral codes.You get a $1000 off your tuition, and the person who referred.You gets a fifty dollars gift card to the national university online store woo hoo!!! For months, I have sent emails, made numerous phone calls, and asked to speak with supervisors. Despite all of these attempts, I have received little more than "there is no update" or "we don't have a timeline." I rely on my financial aid to help cover housing and living expenses while completing my graduate degree. The lack of communication has created significant financial hardship and uncertainty. What has been most frustrating is not just the delay itself, but the inability to get clear answers. Even basic questions about my loan eligibility have gone unanswered. Students deserve transparent communication, especially when financial aid delays can have serious consequences. I hope National University resolves these issues quickly and improves communication with its students. Right now, I cannot recommend the university based on my experience with financial aid.

The Art Academy has given me the impetus to paint not only more often, but with confidence, especially, at the painting's sometimes difficult initial stages. I am highly upset about my time being wasted, especially when j get there and they're closed. I will not be back. I find it very unprofessional. You guys wasted my time. I work Monday -Saturday from 9-5pm I don't have time in the morning to stop by because I take public transportation, I have to leave my house at 8am to get to work by 9. When I spoke to someone at the school a month ago. She told me to come back Dec 4th. To sign up for the spring semester. I asked her what time do they close because I get off work at 5. She said they close at 7. When I got there last night about 5:45pm. They were closed. So I called this morning and spoke to someone and told her what happened. She informed me that they close early on Mondays at 5. And close Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7pm she said I can come by that they'll still be open when I get off work. When I got there tonight, there was a note on the door saying they will be closing at 4:30pm. I got there at 5:45pm. If you guys had an emergency to attend, have another person stay at least for the people that can't make it in the day time. But because of this I will not be back at all. I do not want to attend a school where you guys close early than what's expected. If I can't count on you to be open when you say you are, how in the hell do you expect me to depend on the instructors to teach me. What if I did attend, and I have an issue with an instructor or student at any given moment that you are supposed to be open. I can't talk to anyone then because you guys are closed.

Process was super easy in booking the party- I emailed Sasha to see if my date and location was available, She emailed me back within a few hours to confirm and tell me what to do next. I paid a deposit of $150 through the website using paypal. Then one week before the party, I paid her a deposit and gave her a list of everyone's name (for certificates they made up and passed out after the party- nice touch!) Chrissy showed up on time and set everything up. She spent a good hour and a half with us. This company comes fully prepared with visuals, props, and even goody bags for everyone! We had 10 girls and everyone told me they had a total blast and even dug into their purses at the end to give me a nice tip for her.
