In a nutshell, they have been very professional, communicative, helpful, and went above and beyond. I literally looked up their webpage to see if we needed anything they sell because I was so impressed. It's nice to have a company honor a warranty in a hassle-free way. This was from a previous owner and while the time-frame holds validity for the warranty, I'm sure they technically could choose not to honor it but they helped transfer it to our name. Additionally, in the age of designed obsolescence, it feels like nothing is quality anymore and we're always having to replace things. It's nice to have the alternate feeling; this is a quality door built to last and they helped keep it up for us. They fully replaced the handle, the frayed stripping on the bottom, and helped level it as it was sagging and letting air in the top corner. Lastly, the tech came out and made the repair, but had received the wrong weather stripping from the manufacturer. He noticed a spot where our dogs had ripped up the outer-stripping -- I didn't even try to get that fixed in our request because that's totally on us, but he told us he'd get it all taken care of and was back out a few days later. He wouldn't even take the trade-call warranty fee charge ($65) until the job was done right. Great company -- definitely reach out to them first and I hope you have as good of an experience as we did.

I hired DHI Roofing a year ago to repair hail damage to my home. The nightmare continues to this…read moreday. Client communications has been continuously problematic. Currently they are non-responsive. The roof replacement went well. Gutter replacement was okay. Siding replacement has been a nightmare. The first crew did such a horrid job that DHI had to tear the siding off and install it again. The second crew put a nail through electrical wiring that knocked out power to our internet box. When I turned on my air conditioning I found that they likely also put a nail into my in-wall coolant line which I am having repaired next week for nearly $4000. I cannot confirm until they rip it out to the wall, but a small hole I cut in the wall had a new nail just an inch from the line (and nowhere near a stud where it should be). I reached out to my project manager, Casey Jolley, 3 days ago and no reply. I reached out to his manager, Manny Santos, also and no reply. I called the main office this morning and they could not put me through to anyone I could discuss the issue with. They promised me 6 to 7 weeks ago that the garage doors would be replaced in 3 weeks. Nothing. Not a word from them. Other minor repairs that could have been completed in the past year are still not done.

A friend recommended Krystal and she looked at my roof and said she would fight for me until there was no more fight or we won. That's exactly what she did. DHI was one of the companies and we ended up selecting DHI Roofing even though they were slightly higher than the other company. Michael is the exact opposite of the nightmare I had just gone through. Michael is professional, easy to communicate with, he does what he says he's going to do and then some, he shows up every day and works a full day, not just 2-3 hours once every couple of weeks. If there is an issue, he communicates efficiently and effectively offering options to solve the problem immediately. He's honest about what he can and can't do instead of just taking your money & telling you what you want to hear. But most of all, he's meticulous and takes pride in his work, taking the time to do the job right while sticking to the schedule as much as possible. I can't recommend Michael enough, especially if you're putting off projects due to negative past experiences with other contractors.
