Super friendly and actually took the time to explain what he was doing and how gas leaks from these units can be silently killers, which I had no idea about. Genuinely learned something new. Highly recommend!

In…read moremy opinion, the guy who came used my unit as a teaching lesson for an assistant he was training. They first looked over my heat pump unit and then went down into the basement of the condominium to check out the equipment the building used. All this time he was explaining to his assistant, the ins and outs of the unit. I told them it was just my unit but he made the adjustment for a screw that impacts the entire building without any authorization from me or the building board or management company. Then they came back into my unit, looked over a couple more things, and then finally checked the coolant which was low. So basically for adding coolant to my system it cost me $675. When I talked to the owner he said the entire building was probably without AC and didn't notice so he fixed it for the entire building. However, I spoke to neighbors beforehand and they said they had AC. How likely do you think it is that a building with dozens of units would be without AC and not complain? The business charged $200 for the building change which was turning a screw about 1/8 of an inch. After speaking with the business he wants to come into my unit again and remove the coolant and he'll refund the charges. Would anyone take him up on that "offer"?
