We sent a very courteous email letting her know that we were withdrawing our application Thursday night and Friday morning we received this: "I worked numerous hours on your applications. You guys should have been upfront with me from the beginning so I dont waste my time." We understand screening takes effort, but applicants are also investing time, application fees, and gathering extensive documentation. A more professional response would have simply acknowledged the withdrawal.
