We bought a case of wine. Of the half a case we've had so far, only one was drinkable, the rest were basically vinegar.

Such a cute winery located in downtown Marlow. You were able to try three wines for free or eight…read morefor five dollars. They have a laminated menus; sweet on one side and dry on the other. I'm not a wine girly, but it was still fun to go and have the experience. However, the wine slushy's are amazing! Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and could give me pointers on what I should and shouldn't try based on what I told her I liked.

Marlow is around 46 minutes from our home but WELL worth the drive. The young man working there was super knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The establishment is cute and offers fun items for personal use or gifts. We were comfortable and entertained while sampling the wine. For $5 we had 8 samples...16 if you consider that my husband and I sampled one another's wine choices. Even at 16 that is only one side of the menu! There are that many MORE. The wine is produced and bottled in house and you can see into the back where the work is being done. We have never before gone to a tasting where we like every one of the wines we tried. We took home 6 (reasonably priced) bottles of wine. The also offer a wide range of entertainment, the day that we went it was live music. We definitely recommend and we'll be going back.

This business is basically in a small strip mall, with no "water's edge" identified. The staff are very friendly and attentive. While they reportedly make their wine onsite in large stainless steel vats, all of their grapes are sourced out of state. They offer a variety of fruity, alcohol fortified (brandy) drinks and serve food. If you're looking for a local wine experience, this likely isn't the place... Consider heading a few miles to OKC and checkout "Put A Cord In It" for some solid "wine" offerings. If you're looking for a relaxed spot to grab an adult beverage & a bite of food, this could be the place for you.

I entered Waters Edge Winery last Friday afternoon at 5:59 & and showed the bartender on my phone…read morethat I still had 1 minute before happy hour ended. I was about to look at the menu and decide what I wanted to order when the owner started talking to me about other franchises of Waters Edge Winery & how they don't all have the same menus. Once she was finished talking to me, the bartender told me that happy hour had now ended. I reminded him that I had walked in before happy hour had ended & he told me that I didn't decide what I wanted during that 1 minute. Again, I couldn't decide because the owner chose to talk to me during that time. I was so shocked by this lack of customer service that I told them that I was going to leave. Neither one of them stopped me, so obviously they didn't want my business. I was considering buying a wine membership & returning there very often because I was excited about trying out this wine bar. I will never return there again, and they have lost a lot of business & money that they would have received from my friends and I.
