I have gone to another place with the same issues, and unfortunately they didn't help, so I'm getting a second opinion basically. I did use their inbody scale. Measuring my weight, and muscle mass, etc. After talking and hearing what they can do for me. It's a lot a trial and error kind of thing. A very slow process. And I can appreciate that, but it's quite expensive, and I know that I can't afford to buy product after product not knowing what actually works for me. Just wanted to give my personal experience. Reason for visit: hormone therapy: feeling tired, slow metabolism, menopause symptoms. Had consultation with Doc, labs at an offsite clinic, another mtg with Doc to read labs + first months RX's = Initial expense: $1200. They do not take any insurance. I was put on a cocktail of: Progesterone, Estradiol, thyroid capsule, testosterone. (After first month, RX's cost = $350 per month). First began this process on Jan 15th - no change in anything over the course of 4 weeks. At that time, they did another LAB/reading and changed dosage/suggested testosterone pellets (inserted) & metabolism booster (another $397). Another 4 weeks passed: no changes in the way I felt, slept or anything, seriously. My General Practitioner advised me that my testosterone levels were "fine", well, I didn't feel fine. With a blood test at NBH, we found my cortisol levels were very high, so even though my t-levels were "fine" (by my GP's standards), the cortisol was blocking my body from using the testosterone. I'm so happy with Natural Bio Health! I am in excellent health, so after an unexpected trip to the hospital left me with some unanswered questions, I was referred to Natural Bio Health for help. Dr. Weiler refused to see me anymore after I told him I'm getting testosterone from my oncologist. Since I am a cancer patient, I'm trying to save money anyway I can and the prescription is covered by insurance. He flat out told me that if I'm not going to buy the hormones from him, that he couldn't help me anymore. This place is all about money; not the patient. I was going to get their vitamin IV treatments, but now I will never go there again. In addition, my wife is a patient there too; but she will find another facility that cares about their patients. Also, Weiler said my thyroid was low and that I needed thyroid hormones to correct it. If you are looking for a doctor to help you naturally through menopause or want to lose weight quickly, then by all means give this place a try -- I cannot comment on those services. However, if you are looking for a naturopathic doctor for any other reason, I would not recommend it. Although the doctor was very nice and patient, the evaluation I received seemed like guesswork and was not helpful. On the plus side, after receiving advice that I found to be unnecessary, I asked for a refund. Don't waste your time or money!! I went there for a weight-loss consultation, and was told I had all these female issues that I didn't have. When I spoke to the friend that referred me, she apparently "has" the exact same issues too- so says them. I had a ton of tests, and none of them came back abnormal like they had predicted, yet they still tried to convince me I had these issues. If my husband hadn't come with me the second time, I might have still been gullible and actually spent the extra $250.00 on a bunch of medications I don't need. And this amount is in addition to the $475.00 I paid them for the first consult (for what?). THEN, they wanted me to pay $100.00 on top of the $250.00 for coming back from my first visit to hear the results! They ended up handing me a pamphlet that explained how to lose weight sticking to a 1200 calorie diet (wow, is that all you have to do? who knew?), and a prescription for phentermine (which, let's face it, is the REAL way people are losing weight!) But I found out from the person that referred me that they charge a $100.00 script fee EVERY MONTH, then you STILL have to go to the pharmacy and PAY for the phentermine itself! RIP-OFF! So, you probably will lose weight with Natural Bio Health because they put you on phentermine, but you'll spend about a MILLION times too much for their services, and end up on a slew of useless, yet expensive, medications/supplements to treat issues you might not even have! Don't fall for it! Go to your family doctor and get the same phentermine prescription for a fraction of the cost... that's what I finally did! read more

I love this place! I haven't felt better than I do know. Who knew that at 35 I don't produce testosterone and my thyroid is way off. I started with Dr. Feste to get some balance back in my life. At 54, I could not lose weight no matter how much exercise I did, or little I ate. I did not have a great experience and felt that I was rushed through the process. 9 minutes with the doctor reviewing lab results and then prescribing many hormones .I asked for help with hot flashes and sleep deprivation and was told that once I lost weight through hormones my hot flashes would go away and I would be able to sleep. I was not given the chance to speak with my husband or primary doctor before the hormones were FEDEX to my home. I returned all products and was told that they would not refund my credit card. I expressed my concerns to the Dr. and still NBH is disputing the charge and state I signed paperwork and they would not refund the large expense. My experience happened in January and here it is April and this still continues. I feel that NBH has taken advantage of me. From my experience I suggest you do not sign paperwork until you are sure that the amount of suggested hormones is right for you. read more
