Just one of the many viewpoints within Bryce Canyon National Park! Natural Bridge is one of the last stops along Bryce Canyon's scenic byway and is located a lot deeper into the park than most of the other viewpoints. However, it's well worth the drive if you're planning on doing a scenic drive through the park. The stop features a beautiful natural bridge that's located at over 8600+ feet of elevation! It's just a short a walk to the bridge, so no hiking required. There's also a good amount of parking. Although the park is usually busy during the summer and fall, this particular viewpoint doesn't experience the heavy crowds like its' more popular counterparts. Because of this, you'll be able to really enjoy this vista even that much more. It's a bit off the beaten path, but I'd still highly recommend it if you're visiting the par
May 2021 (Memorial Weekend): not too packed & we arrived later in the afternoon so you can't guess the crowds accurately. I don't believe the shuttle comes down here so it's about a 15-20 minute drive from the visitor center down here & it's worth it. No hiking required. Just park, get out of your car, walk 30 feet & boom, there it is. Not sure why it's called a bridge. It's more of an arch but aside from that, GORGEOUS. Don't expect to get a close view because the railing is as close as you'll get & the fall is STEEP. Pictures are hard to take with the bridge so you might need a selfie stick or get someone REALLY tall to take the pic of you & the bridge over the railing. Very short time here - probably spent 20 minutes here total & it was enough to take pictures & appreciate its natural bridge beauty. If you're already here, start here & work your way back up to the main park area.
Natural bridge is one of my favorite view point at the Bryce Canyon. I visited the Bryce twice so far and both time had snow left at the park. This particular visit in March had a lot more snow left here and created perfect harmony between the Bridge and the snow. View point is easily accessible by a car and no walking required to admire this beauty. Highly recommend making a stop here to check out the bridge from this view point
This is a quick little stop on the scenic drive to Rainbow Point. I personally think it's worth it to pull over and take a look. You get a clear view of the geologic feature and it makes for awesome photos. This natural bridge is different from other natural bridges. Usually, natural bridges are formed by the movement of a stream or river cutting through rock and undermining a portion of the rock to create a gap. However, this one is a natural arch formed primarily by the expansion of ice in cracks deep within. You can tell that the sides of the arch are more angular than other rock formations. There are no toilets or other services at this stop, but it's so quick that I wouldn't expect it to. It's a neat surprise bonus feature of the park amongst all the hoodoos. read more

One of my favorite places to stop along the scenic drive in Bryce Canyon. Not sure you can hike there, but the view is amazing and the rock formations are really unique. It is roughly 12 miles in along the scenic drive. Best time to visit is actually winter, but late fall is nice as well. read more

Worth seeing while at Bryce Canyon. No hiking require. Just park your car and walk 100 to 300 feet depending what parking space is available. read more

I'm not sure how many bridges or arches are at Bryce. This one is easily seen from the road to rainbow point. There is a large parking lot. It is one of the more popular stops along the drive. You can see the bridge from the parking lot- no hiking involved As a side bonus, there are quite a few ravens that hang out in this parking lot. They perch on the fence posts, almost begging you to photograph them. read more
