From Start to Finish - this company was excellent. They were extremely helpful, caring, knowledgeable and meticulous. They allow you to do as much or as little of the work you want, ie, they do the precise measurement for your project and make the design. You have a consult and can customize what you want. Then, you choose - you can hang the cabinets, you can install the hardware, etc., but if you need help, they are there for you. Their timing is impressive. Your first contact - Lisa is patient and will bring sample after sample and truly wants you to be happy with your choices. For us - hanging cabs ourselves and installing skims, hardware, and plumbing - entire kitchen reno in a little over 2 weeks. Very happy. read more

An absolute nightmare. If I could give them zero stars, I would. We chose Natural Granite Gallery because I'd used them about ten years ago for my kitchen and bathroom granite and was very satisfied. What a change a decade can bring. We were originally working with Nick in sales, who is extremely helpful. We'd have had no problem if we could have stayed with Nick throughout the job because he takes responsibility for all aspects of the job for his customers. Midstream though, Nick had to take a personal leave of absence and we ended up with a female sales person, who was helpful until installation time arrived. This company sent two installers to my house who did not speak one word of English. Not Spanish, not French, which I could have partially understood and made an attempt to communicate, but Japanese or Chinese. They literally could not understand one word. The two young men charged into my brand new kitchen like bulls in a china cabinet and started ripping off cardboard layers that my cabinet installer had covered the new custom manufactured drawers/doors with so they wouldn't get scratched up. I had to physically throw myself in front of the cardboard and shout no to get them to stop ripping cardboard off. Then one was grabbing items off the top of the cabinets and tossing them wherever just to get them out of the way. We later learned that the company had scheduled THREE countertop installations in one day for these two men, which is obviously why they were running around like their pants were on fire. We finally had to get the company on the phone and complain about the way the installers were doing things. While I was on the phone with the sales rep, she got another woman who speaks their dialect to phone them on their cell phone and related the message. It was like playing the telephone game in kindergarten. Ridiculous. And outrageous that the company would send two installers who don't speak English. Our new sales rep kept telling us to just let them work - that they knew what they were doing. When the installers left for lunch, the sales rep told us that they had gone back to the shop because one of the backsplash pieces hadn't been cut, and she didn't know if they'd be able to get back out to our house the same day. All of the pieces were, in fact, cut and laying in my kitchen, so I was clueless as to what she meant. The men showed up after lunch and continued to install. They ended up with the two pieces not meeting properly behind the sink and when I phoned the company to discuss it, the sales rep blamed my carpenter for not leveling the cabinets. I was absolutely irate. Every carpenter on the planet knows that you use shims for leveling when the floors and walls aren't perfect. But when my carpenter tried to point out to them that the surface wasn't level and that they needed to install a shim, they didn't understand a word and just kept charging along. They finally globbed enough black caulk along the trim so that it looks level now, but I had to repaint the wall because they slopped black caulk on it and didn't bother to clean up. The worst of the nightmare is that, two days after they left, I was cleaning my brand new kitchen tile and discovered a large dent/crack in it where they had dropped the granite and cracked the porcelain. They didn't even bother to notify us that they had damaged the floor. They just left without taking responsibility. We had to call our tile installer back to cut out the broken tile and replace it. The only reason I'm not suing this company is because they gave us a Yelp discount of $200 when we originally ordered the granite, and gave us a second discount when we changed our mind after placing the original order and wanted a more expensive granite. In the end, I'd have much rather paid full price and dealt with a reputable company. Never will I do business with this company again, and I certainly do not recommend that anyone else does, unless you happen to be fluent in whatever language their installers speak. I have used Natural Gallery Granite Direct many times in the past and always been thrilled with the result. Today I had Quartz countertops installed in a new home and this is the best fabrication and installation I have ever seen. The quartz is stunning and the seam is undistinguishable. Kim and Lisa talked me into a bar ledge that turned out so freakin' dazzling that I can't believe I almost didn't get it because I thought it was too expensive. The installers were neat and cleaned up after the installation. I can't wait for the next project. If you would like your granite to remain in place on the top of your cabinets beyond 1 year; you had better shop somewhere else. When we called to ask that they come and remount our granite due to the fact that THE COUNTER TOP WAS SLIDING AWAY FROM THE WALL, leaving a gap between the counter top and the tile backboard; a different woman who identified herself as the manager told us that after one year (it had been almost 2 years when the counter began to come off) they would come out and fix it for a $75.00 fee. It seems reasonable that a customer would expect that a counter and installation that costed thousands of dollars would remain in place for several years. Beyond that the granite was never polished properly to start with. Immediately upon installation I found 10-15 spots that felt as though a chunk had been knocked out. In fact I believe that it was not ground down deep enough to result in a smooth surface. Although I could not see these before accepting the job I could certainly feel them. I wish I had kept my money and let them keep their rock. read more

Don't let this business' excellent sales pitch fool you; it is all smoke and mirrors! After taking time with us to explain their quality cabinets and efficient installation procedure, my husband and I were certain we had made the right choice in cabinet makers. We even chose their cabinets over hand made ones. We were give specific dates for template drawing and installation. The company met neither of these dates. They were two days late with the template drawing and three days late with the installation. When they installed the cabinets, they were missing side panels for the island and several drawer pulls. These did not arrive for another two weeks. Also, when the cut the hole for the slide in oven, they measured incorrectly, so when the oven was installled, they had to come back to recut the hole. Our contractor had to explain to them how to do it because none of the workers understood what to do! As if all of this wasn't enough, their sales person, Lisa, was very unprofessional. When we were trying to reach her about template and delivery dates, she would tell either the contractor or my husband she would check and call back. She would not call back and then deny she told them she was going to call back. This happened on more than one occasion. After the initial installation, she wanted us to pay the remainder of the money we owed. I explained that wasn't going to happen until we were satisfied with the cabinets. So she suggested that we pay all but $400.00. I said I would pay all but $1000.00. When she tried to argue, I told her that she should have thought about that when she wouldn't return phone calls when she promised she would. She had no comeback for that remark! My recommendation is buy your granite and/or cabinets somewhere else. Lisa was very efficient in providing an exact, itemized cost analysis; Kim and Yen worked with us to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted at the best possible price, and the the on-site team were exacting and meticulous craftsmen. The on-site team took care of the tear out and installation of counter tops in our kitchen and bathrooms over a two day period, and did a terrific job. Wow! I'm really surprised after reading a couple of recent reviews posted here for Natural Gallery Granite Direct. I've seen much better reviews for them posted elsewhere. I recently used Natural Gallery Granite to replace an existing damaged granite countertop and install a new kitchen sink. They did a great job and I am completely satisfied with their work and the price! Before contacting Natural Gallery, I had obtained written estimates from two other well-known companies in the area. After in-home visits, both companies indicated that in order to replace the counter top and sink they would also have to demolish and replace the granite backsplash (four pieces) with new granite AND remove a large upper granite bar top and then reinstall it after the countertop and backsplash had been replaced. This added significantly to the price and made it necessary to replace the backsplash which I did not want to do for several reasons in addition to the added cost. I received an estimate for about $4,600 from one company and the estimate included a disclaimer that they could not guarantee that they would be able to remove the upper bar top intact, giving it only a 50% chance of success. So, the job would cost much more if the bar top broke and had to be replaced with new granite also. The estimate also required a 100% payment in advance prior to beginning any work. The second company provided an estimate for about $3,500. Both estimates included plumbing to connect the new sink and faucet and reconnect the old dishwasher and garbage disposal. When Natural Gallery Granit Direct came to do their in-home visit and take measurements, I was very pleasantly surprised when they told me that they could disconnect the plumbing, demo out the old countertop and kitchen sink WITHOUT having to demolish and replace the existing backsplash and without having to remove and replace the upper bar top. And that is exactly what they did for about $2,300! If I wasn't there and saw them do it myself, I might have doubted that it was possible...BUT THEY DID IT...and they did a great job. Their price, did not include necessary plumbing modifications and reconnecting the dishwasher and disposal, which was performed by TJ Plumbing for about $300 including the cost of the Permit. I am very pleased with the result and would highly recommend to anyone to at least check these guys out first before signing up with another company. I'M GLAD I DID! read more

I recently purchased over 100 sq. feet of granite from this company for an outdoor kitchen. Although they cut one section short and left no overhang on two sides, overall I'm satisfied with the install. However they did a very poor job sealing the granite both on the outdoor kitchen and other granite installed throughout my house. They failed to follow basic manufacture instructions on the back of the product. They did not properly clean the granite before sealing, used a paper towel to apply the chemical, didn't wait the required time, and only did one coat which the label clearly states should be two. Talking directly with the manufacture, Natural Gallery made a least (4) critical mistakes. Their response was to scrap excess glue from the countertop and clean with mineral spirits. Adding even more insult to an already disappointing situation is the fact the installer and owner of the company laughed when we brought our concerns to their attention. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! My biggest regret is paying in cash. If dealing with this company pay by credit card. I definitely would have disputed the charges. That would have forced them to do the right thing or I would have gotten the last laugh. Based on my experience I would not use or recommend Natural Gallery Granite Direct again. read more
