I am absolutely obsessed with World Market and that is nowhere near an understatement. I absolutely recommend coming over here for absolutely any type of need. Whether you need to feed a craving or you want to change up your decorations outside in your patio. Most recently for Mother's Day coming up, world market has an entire set of dedicated to Mother's Day and it's absolutely gorgeous. World Market always has a dedicated section to those big holidays, such as Mother's Day and Fourth of July. The list goes on and on. I will preface, however, that this establishment is rather pricey. Just to help you paint a better picture, I purchase a vase, two candles and about three different Korean snacks they had in the back. This all came out to be around $85. I would recommend signing up on their website to become a member so you can enjoy the pleasantries of rewards! they usually give out free gifts with a certain amount purchase, which is pretty cool. Most recently they had an event where they would hide a golden egg in April. The golden eggs were in a hidden spot all over the store and the customers were given hints for each day in order to find said egg. I unfortunately did not find an egg but it was super fun. There were 4 eggs for each day, each egg with a different amount of money to use towards a purchase. Off the top of my head, it was $20, $50, $100. I forgot the fourth egg, but you get the jist. Also, once you come in they have complimentary coffee and tea for you to try. These are actually products that they sell in store so I would recommend checking it out and giving it a try. I ended up drinking some coffee there one day and never stopped buying the coffee from there. Again, I totally recommend coming to World Market! You'll have a "worldly" © experience! *wink wink*. I love browsing in World Market! I'm glad that this location is convenient and there's plenty of parking space! Upon entering the store, you're likely to be warmly greeted. If not, and you need help, you'll be able to find a friendly employee to help you. There are so many interesting and unique items to find, from jewelry, to home goods, to kitchenware, to furniture, and food items. Plus, you'll find even more than that! This is a good place to come if you want to find a unique gift or to try a new food from another country. Many people like the beverage section. There is an extensive selection of coffees, teas, spirits, mixers, canned Boba teas and more. You'll definitely find something to put in your cart! Most recently, I bought some lovely candles for home fragrance, and some British, Swedish and Japanese food items. This is my shop to find all things worldly or settle for just international. The coffee and hot chocolate section was extensive. The syrups for beverages is always a varied choice. lord the front section with small items from around the world. I made an online purchase stating "set of 4" I have a copy of the confirmation email stating that. I got to the store and was not given the correct amount of Rocco Blue glasses. The manager was going to find out what happened and get back to me...now many emails later with customer service and even a supervisor saying that I only ordered one, not a set of 4. Lucky for me I have screenshots and the email with the confirmation of set of 4 written on it. They are refusing to honor the order, they have now changed website and my order online. DECEPTIVE. Been a loyal customer over 15 years. Utterly disappointed in the DECEPTIVE actions. False advertising. I am truly sorry they treat customers this way. Suppose to have been a birthday gift. I go to world market when I want to browse around for a unique gift to give someone. The wine and food section is overpriced compared to what is in the area. The furniture looks flimsy and I do not feel secure sitting in many of the items. The house ware area has a few interesting items to get but that is it. read more

Every time I go here it's always a pleasure. The only reason why I avoid it is because I always go for one thing and end up buying at least 5. The one only thing I have had issues with sometimes is the service at the register, since they let people cut in line when they open a new register, which can be aggravating around the holidays. read more

We love world market as a store but this evening 10/13/18 we were in world market in Daytona beach, the one cashier was busy helping another customer no big deal, another employee a young man asked if he could help us something most managers would have been proud of, not the manager on duty, his name was David, he was dressing his employees down right in front of us. Very unprofessional and extremely rude. As a customer and a person that owned a service business for 30 years and now manage an automotive shop I would want employees like that young man. But the manager that was on duty may know how to run a store but his lack of managerial experience was evident and obvious. He is definitely not a credit to World market I would put him in an office counting beans or working with inventories but around people no. read more

Oh World Market, I love you - my intentions are typically just to look around and browse your wares, but, I always end up staying a while and purchasing something.. The foodie section of the store is absolutely amazing and the prices are reasonable. The wine, beer, and imported soda selection are amazing. I make an attempt to steer clear from this area, but, there is a force pulling me towards it :) The furniture and homegoods section reminds me of a funkier version of Pier One. Now onto my favorite part - being a member of the World Market Explorer program. I enjoy receiving the frequent e-mails pertaining to flash sales, store events, and miscellaneous coupons. I also received a $10 off coupon for my birthday which was good for anything in the store except for alcoholic beverages. This was the most horrid World Market experience I've had. I've never come upon so many products without prices. They truly are missing sales. Couldn't find help on the floor. The store is packed tight making cart traffic difficult. A lot of the store was in disarray. I of course picked the wrong checkout line, with an older guy not competent to run the register (maybe named Pat?) and a second clerk not willing to help him efficiently. I bought an item at 60% off but when I got to the car, they'd only taken off 30%! Though he had packing paper--he packed all five glass items in the same bag sans any protective paper! klank. klank. Service was great at this store! Workers were close by whenever I had a question and very helpful. When I went to pay, I didn't remember I had a 15% coupon until after my cashier, Art, had ringed me up. Nevertheless, though a little flustered, Art soldiered on! He performed a return and then ringed up my purchases all over again so he could apply the coupon. That's going the extra mile! read more

I went to the local World Market here in Daytona Beach yesterday and it will be my last trip. Your clerks are not customer oriented. There was only one cashier open and she was doing a return for a lady and there was an older lady at the other check out and I asked if she could take me and she responded very rudely that "she was not open". Then what was she doing behind the check out counter? The final straw was the first clerk finished up with the return I pushed my cart forward with 5 bottles of wine and simply asked her if she could put them in a box (which they always seem to have) so I could transport them home safely. Instead of responding with a expected "sure" or" of course", she said very rudely well if you will put them on the counter!! I came really close to walking out of the store and such a rude comment from a store clerk but decided to pay for my wine and get the heck out of dodge and I told her after I paid I could not wait to get out of the store. Previously visits were not pleasant either. One when I was in this same store I was looking a bookshelf and had a question and sought out a clerk to get some information and asked her if she could come back to where the bookshelf and she acted like it was such an inconvenience. Understand she was not behind a cash register but appeared she was just stocking merchandise. Don't these people know that if World Market keeps losing customers like me they will not have a job?? I work at the NASCAR building here in Daytona Beach and I have always been taught that the happy customer means you keep your job. I love furniture and accent pieces that have an international vibe, especially a Moroccan influence. World Market has a huge selection of fun, colorful and eclectic pieces that really add a flair to my home. Their prices are pleasing as well. If you like Pier One ( which I do), you have to try World Market. They also sell food and various spirits.Their wine selection is pretty big, too. read more

World Market is great it has a mix of food, beer and furniture. It is a lot like pier 1 but has a great world food section. Sushi, rare sauces and spices. The beers and wines they have are top notch and good prices. read more

This is an excellent place to shop. I love going there. I disagree with some of the low review ratings. The prices are NOT higher than other local stores; the store is not in disarray (except of course when they are setting up new displays which is understandable); and the staff are always competent and helpful. I highly recommend this store and suggest that you take some low ratings with a grain of salt. read more
