I was told the tan lasts 7-10 days. It lasts about 2. I waited 14 hours to shower after my application. After day one I saw how uneven the tan was applied. The cracks on my elbows and knees was so embarrassing. Basically you can't get wet, scratch your skin, or shave at all to keep the tan. My self tanning foams work better. read more

I loved the rapid development of the color in spite of how "freckle-y" it looked prior to rinsing. I was actually kind of worried that it would be uneven because of the "freckles" I had on my face and hands, but I was SO HAPPY to see how even and gorgeous and DARK it was once I showered. This was my first spray tan where a person is actually spraying you. I had such a great experience that I felt the need to spread the work about this local place! It's in such a cute little spa-like community. You walk upstairs of what looks like an apartment building and once you get to the top you'll see all these little rooms with various services like spray tan, nails, massage, etc. The owner (forgot her name!) did our tans. She was able to accommodate us last minute. She was very professional and made me feel comfortable, considering the fact that I was standing in front of her butt naked. They provide paper panties, but if you're already topless in front of her, what's the point? Do what makes you comfortable but I preferred not to have those tan lines. They do this for a living and it's seriously nothing they think twice about. I like how they are able to spray you more in certain parts of your body to make you look toned and thinner! Tips: Wear gross clothes that you won't mind getting spray tan all over. It washes out without any residual, but still. You'll feel sticky and gross immediately after and the last thing you'll want to do is put on tight clothing. Clear your schedule for the day, as you can't shower for a good 10-12 hours after. It smells, you will look like an orange alien. You will look way orange, but after the 12 hours and you can shower, the leftover will wash off leaving behind a really really nice dark tan! It looks natural, so don't be scared when you see yourself in the mirror immediately after you leave the place! They have light, medium, and dark. I have olive skin tone and did the darkest color. It looked very natural. The tan lasted a good week for me. I wouldn't invest in this weekly, but it is a nice option for when events come up. I highly recommend! read more

I go out to bars on Milwaukee st semi often and have never realized this place was there. It's right next to Dicks club, bright red doors. I had to ask the valet (which is complimentary) which door it was. It was my first spray tan ever and I loved it! Georgia made me feel very comfortable and did a great job on my tan. They give you disposal panties to wear if you don't want to wear your own, or you can go full nude. I asked a lot of questions about the do's and dont's after my tan and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. The tan was on special for $25 all month (LOVE THAT) so I booked my next appointment for 2 weeks later. Can't wait to go back! read more

The tan that I got at Natural Glo Boutique was my first spray tan ever. I was really nervous to get one because I have heard so many horror stories about spray tans! However, this spray tan completely changed my mind. I went with the 'medium' tan and could not be more happy. The first day my skin looked a little freckled especially on my face, but do not fear it went away and my tan is flawless. My friends couldn't get over how natural it looked and I was even asked if I went to Florida over the weekend! The salon is very clean and cute and the appointment was very quick. I was really hoping the experience was going to be great but I was disappointed in a few things. First, the lighting in the room is extremely dim. I have had great experiences with other spray tan places and all were nice and lit so the person giving the spray tan can really see where they are spraying so when I saw how dim the lightening was at this place I was skeptical. Second, it felt super rushed. On top of that, she was asking me questions while spraying my face at the same time. I had the rapid tan done so after she was done, I went home and left the tanner on for a full 24 hours. Mind you I was very careful to take it easy and not do anything that would affect the outcome. After rinsing off the next day there were tons of uneven spots, she even missed places where you could see a straight line including on my arms and sides of my legs. Although I was disappointed, I chucked it up to maybe her having an off day so I was open to giving it another try. Unfortunately, same experience. I even gave her a heads up about the previous outcome. This time not only were there places she missed, she over did my arm and hand areas that were very uneven. I hope she gets better lighting and would suggest she take her time rather than rush. Nice girl, but very disappointed with the service. read more

I just got my first airbrush spray tan with Ashley, and I am very pleased! Natural Glo is located on Milwaukee Street, right in the hustle & bustle of downtown. Look for the 2 tall, red doors, or you're bound to walk right past it. There's no visible door handle either, so you'll need to push the door on the right to get in. Walk up the stairs, then walk up the second set of stairs you'll find off to the left. Natural Glo is on the 3rd floor. I walked in and met Ashley. She had me sign the usual paperwork and then explained how the spray tan was going to work. She puts out a pair of disposable thong underwear and disposable sticky shoes for the bottom of your feet. She told me I can wear the thong, or go nude, whatever my preference. Then she tells you to go in the room, get undressed and knock when you're ready for her to come in. So I went in and got undressed. I chose to wear the thong, but I was otherwise naked, so, really, what's the difference?! All privacy has gone out the window. Once she comes in, you're standing in front of her, naked. Luckily, Ashley is very professional! The sprayer resembles a hair dryer, a misting hair dryer. The spraying process only takes a few minutes. She has you put your arms out to the sides, sprays your front, sprays your back, has you rotate a few times, arms up, arms down, and you'll all set. She leaves the room so you can get dressed. There's a mirror in the room. This is nice because, once I removed the disposable thong, I was able to see the instant tan lines. Impressive! I will definitely come back for another spray tan. read more

My spray turned out lovely! I got the high tan for a bachelorette party at the Kalahari and absolutely loved the color. It also stayed on great after a day at the water park in chlorine and I didn't see any fading. It should also be noted that I was late for my appointment due to writing my time down for 15 mins later than I booked and she was extremely accommodating and was able to shift me back to the next time slot. The only reason I gave 4 vs. 5 stars is that when I had signed up for an appointment online I'd requested the rapid dry and didn't get that tan. I didn't ask her about it when we got in and started so part of that is on me as well, but all in all I still loved the color. overall great experience!
