    Out of Order Handicap Stalls

    Sam's Club in Southlands. The women's restroom is superficially clean however it needs a little more attention for real cleanliness. Both handicap stalls were out of order and taped closed The floors I'm sure are mopped, but if you look at the edges, they're very grungy The interior of the stalls need to be wiped down The seat cover holder had a layer of dust on it, and the pad dispenser was not secure and hanging by one screw Overall, I like the store. It seems to be managed well and overall is clean, but these issues in the Restroom tell me that their housekeeping needs to do a little bit better and the management needs to supervise and inspect a little bit better.

    I come to Sams club weekly for produce and other household goods that I can buy in bulk for a better price. Since I'm a regular visitor of this location many of the staff recognize us and are always friendly and helpful. I also pretty much exclusively buy gas at Sams because it's just cheaper and part of my regular routine.

    To all my Yelp friends who know the inside joke , I found all the nacho cheese, 6 pounds worth ! LOL

    This store has always been avoided by me until the last year. It never seemed to have items that I would buy , it was a bit unorganized, and there really wasn't an employee to help and when I did find one there was a HUGE disconnect. Now, It's not bad shopping at this location but it's not as good as shopping at some other Sam's clubs. They just redid their parking lots and it's nice and smooth. There is a huge parking lot. I do not get hassled for my club card. There are times where I shop and I'll be the only person in the isle. I like that they still have books to purchase. Their bakery section is filled with different treats that beat out Costco for sure. I find the produce and meat prices are lower here and the produce stays longer than Costco as well. I never have to wait in a line as I always do scan and go. I have noticed a huge uptick in customer traffic the last 6 months. It's close to other life's that I shop when I'm in this area so I'll most likely return.

    Given the times we are currently living in my hats off to San's Club and what they manage on a daily basis. If you never post anything copy and post this. Let's end this madness From a Sam's Club manager: Every single person I've talked to in management in the grocery store industry has said the exact same thing: If we would all just calm down for ONE WEEK and let the supply chain balance itself out, AND if people would just go back to buying groceries in normal amounts, everything would correct itself. Can we all just take them at their word and give this a chance? In a crazy world right now, let's just TRY to bring back a little bit of normal. Who's in? Copy and pasted! Pass it on

    Went to look at the new frames the vision center associate Ann called me about. That was above and beyond what I expected. She understands how important it is to find the right frames for my face shape and taste. I didn't find anything because the frame styles I liked didn't have the correct width size for my face. The associates were both friendly and understanding. Ann and I had a nice conversation discussing both our searches for the perfect frame style. I do recommend their services as they are so understanding here.

    I love this butcher shop. And best of all it's a local business. They are celebrating their 39th year and that wonderful. They are very personable and when a regular they know what you want as soon as you walk in.

    Worst service at the cigarette cage. Not. Anyone working and it takes forever to get the cigarettes.

    Their pharmacy staff is literally crazy. I called in to explain how I was mistreated by an…read moreemployee. The lady said "can I talk" and I said "i shouldn't have to call your ass out to say you're sorry I was mistreated" and when I said that she said ass was a bad word. I went on to say ass is the word for donkey and she thought I was calling her a donkey............. Tried to explain that this lady totally misunderstood me to the lady and then she gave the phone to someone else who was rude didn't care and assumed I was the bad guy. On 1JUN at approx 1:30p, there were 19 customers in line to check out (including myself) meanwhile district manager Ashley was at the photo counter taking three employees off the floor to "train" them to sell walgreens credit cards at the POS. Despite the single cashier working calling over the intercom for assistance, in addition to two automated intercom messages for customer service in cosmetics and allergy sections, Ashley did not once stop her pitch explaining how to sell credit cards. I've worked in retail management for years and understand that there are KPIs and specific pushes that managers are responsible for, but the blatant disregard for customer experience and team playing demonstrated by DM Ashley was deplorable. There's no way this woman should be in management and I can only imagine how she interfaces with her team behind doors. After making my purchase, I went over to confront her to which she only replied "I'm sorry for not keeping a closer eye out, I encourage you to contact 1-800 Walgreens. She blatantly refused to give me her last name nor regional managers contact info to share this experience with, instead choosing to brush me off to entry level employees--I'm sure par for the course for this unfortunately misguided manager. While I'd long ago pulled all my prescriptions from Walgreens due to their monopolistic business model, poor generic suppliers and constant understaffing, I will never be patronizing this Walgreens again. I feel for the employees, which have always been kind and helpful here, but until there is a big change at the managerial level, I will not be returning. Had I not already been crunched for time on my lunch break due to this, I would have walked out and completed my purchase at a competitor. I encourage anyone from Walgreens upper management to reach out to me regarding this experience.
