I have been shopping at Natural Foods for many years and it has been my store of choice, better than Whole Foods and Ozark. However, I have noticed that the last apple and orange I bought had ZERO seeds in it, which leads me to believe they may be genetically modified. That has NEVER happened in all my years at shopping at Natural Grocers. I'm also concerned with the names of their different coffees. Some of the names are offensive names that I've never heard of, and they removed the coffees they used to have that I always bought. I hope this is something that get fixed very soon because I don't want to have to switch stores. read more

The produce is beautiful with great variety. The pricing is very fair. I like the size of the store, it takes only a half an hour from start to finish to shop there. The people that shop there are nice as is the staff, everyone is down to earth, which makes the experience pleasant. read more

Love this store! There is something about the smell of spices and veggies that make these types of stores an olfactory experience. We have several stores in the area like this one and this is the one we go to first. Friendly staff!!!! The last we discussed vitamins with was very helpful and was VERY knowledgeable. We feel like she truly helped us with our selections. She knew medication reactions to certain vitamins and supplements and made great advice on what to get. I have brain farted and forgot her name but next time I'm there I'll have it hammered into my brain. Gluten free foods are clearly marked. This is a great store. read more

This is my kind of store. I love health focus markets! They have a great variety of foods, household supplies, supplements and beauty products. They do a really good job with only selecting high quality products to sell in their store. You can also feel good knowing they are safe, non-toxic products and foods. They give great customer service - super helpful and friendly! They have classes or workshops, so check their calendar on their website. They have a "community" room near where you first walk in for these events. They are located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking outside. Grat market! read more

It's good to see Fayetteville getting more natural foods options. For the longest time, Ozark Natural Foods was the only game in town. Natural Grocers has a decent selection of fresh produce (see picture). Where it appears to truly shine is its extensive selection of low-priced spices and vitamins. Other than that, it's pretty much your usual collection of organic/natural/non-GMO consumer packaged grocery products that hardly set it apart from the likes of Whole Foods. I do kind of worry about its future, though, with Whole Foods opening less than a mile away in Fall 2015. read more

I had to quit going to this store, again. There's always a rude cashier relishing the art of passive aggression. It must be a permanent leadership thing, going on for years. I had to stop going before for the same reason, then returned due to their prices. Not returning. Might try InstaCart to avoid the cashiers. Love the products here, and I appreciate the educated staff, but good grief is it a requirement to be condescending and treat people as if they are completely ignorant when they ask for help? I've been borderline scolded by the staff when I have asked questions about products, with their responses giving off a "did you seriously not know that" vibe. Or there is the classic "I can tell YOU aren't a member since you don't know where items are." I give a thank you for their help with no response. I'm not making this out to be a customer service problem, it's a problem the staff members have with providing service without making the customer feel ignorant or made to feel like they are inconveniencing the staff member by simply asking for help. My interaction just ruined my day because both employees I encountered gave off this vibe. I can give grace for a person having a bad day, but both of them with the same attitude, and then being met with that attitude on any occasion I am in there? I love Natural Grocers because 1. They offer products that the other natural grocery stores in town don't offer 2. They offer free educational classes throughout the week and 3. They offer free one-on-one nutrition coaching and 4. Their prices are usually better than the other natural grocery stores in town. Be sure to bring your own bags - they don't have free bags there. My only complaint about the store itself is that it doesn't have as much produce variety as I would like, but the bulk and frozen food sections make up for that. Customer service has always been good, and there's always parking available near the shop. read more

Love, love, love this store! Natural Grocers carries all of the health food & supplements Brands I'm use to buying in Southern California. Moving from a big city where everything is readily available, to small town and not being able to find my regular health products & brands was stressful for me, until I found this gem of a place in Fayetteville one day. It was like I was walking into a LA health food store. Natural Grocers shelves are abundantly plentiful with all of the best products & brands in the health food & supplements industry. The NG staff & manger are educated degree professionals, with a wealth of knowledge to help answer any questions you may have. I love that. And you don't have to go searching to get someone to help you, there is plenty of staff on hand to help you find things. The fresh vegetables & fruits are beautiful & reasonably priced along with the large freezer sections of dairy & meats. Great selection here! I'm so glad to have found this awesome health food store. LOVE this grocery store. This is my favorite NG ever. The employees and manager are the most friendly and just the down right coolest. I even like it better than the Natural Grocers in my home town. For me, this is the best natural food store in Fayetteville, AR. The selection of produce is very nice, the produce is excellent quality, all organic, and the prices are very reasonable. They have many other household products, cleaning and paper, that are very good and also reasonably priced, and their selection of nuts, seeds, flours, and dried fruits is wonderful. Their staff is friendly and helpful, and they are not snobbish at all. Customers feel comfortable at that store. My only small small complaint is that all flours and spices are pre-packaged, and some of the packaging is not recyclable. I know they do that to preserve the quality of the flours and spices, but I wish all the bags were at least recyclable. Natural Grocers is a wonderful addition to Fayetteville. Thank you! read more

If organic groceries are a priority, this is by far the best and cheapest in town. Unfortunately, things like lemons and bananas are expensive organic, and there's no conventional option. I really liked the employees and general vibe, but it's not a one stop shop kind of place. read more

I just got back from the new Natural Grocers store and had to immediately write a review. What a wonderful experience! Shortly after walking in I was greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything. When I did, the store associate was very helpful. Then, upon checking out, the gentleman ringing me through was EXCEPTIONALLY pleasant. He gave me a brief history of the business and then upon hearing it was my first time visiting, gave me a free reusable bag. He was so kind and completely turned my day around. In addition to this, the prices are more reasonable than other health food stores in the area. I will absolutely be going to here for all my health food needs. read more

There are a lot of nice things about this Natural Grocers store. It offers a good selection at affordable prices and most of the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable in the year or so I shopped there. Unfortunately, a couple of employees there seem to have missed the customer service seminar. One of these is a young man who became annoyed when I asked him not to jam all my purchases into one heavy bag. I have repetitive strain injury and always bring two bags to evenly distribute the items I buy. This was the first time I encountered poor customer service at this store. On subsequent visits I avoided getting into his checkout lane which resolved the issue. Then at the end of October when I failed to get a promotion I had thought I qualified for, this same young man tried to convince me the promotion was for a different day. When it turned out I was 60 cents short of qualifying for the promotion before sales tax this young man contradicted his earlier statement by saying another customer had the same issue earlier that day. (He also noted that customer had been nicer about it). If that was the case, then he knew the promotion was that day and just didn't want to be bothered with my questions. He called a man to the front who was in charge and this person turned out to have an even slimmer grasp of customer service than the cashier. This man walked over to me and brusquely said, "You got a question?" He was obviously very irritated to be bothered with the situation. I wondered what happened to "Can I help you?" - an approach that would at least pay lip service to the notion that he would like to help even if he ultimately couldn't. It was clear the only thing this person wanted to help me with was finding my way out the door. As it turns out, I was able to find my way out the door without his help. And it is highly unlikely I will return. We are fortunate here to have two other health food stores, Ozark Natural Foods and Whole Foods. I've been an owner of ONF since the mid-80s and not once in all those years have I ever encountered the poor customer service I experienced at Natural Grocers. It's unfortunate because, as I said, I had enjoyed shopping at this Natural Grocers store and had even recommended it to friends. I guess it's true that a couple of bad apples really do spoil the whole bag. read more
