THE GOOD -They have great products, many that are unavailable elsewhere -Reasonable prices on *some* items. -Constant deals and promotions -Easy-to-use app with rewards and coupons -Small and easy-to-navigate store -Friendly staff THE BAD -Expired items on shelves sometimes (I brought home a carton of spinach that expired the previous day; emailed the company for a solution and received no reply). So check expiry dates carefully -Limited selection, no way could I do my entire shopping here -Very high prices on certain produce like berries For me, this store is best utilized as an occasional supplemental grocery destination. They do carry some delicious and unique items so I'll be randomly popping in to grab my favorites. read more

This is the only place that I will ever buy organic produce from! They also don't buy from vendors who use apeel on their produce. Score! This store is a wonderful grocery store with organic vegetables and upscale food. It's a great place to go if you want to have a healthy diet and avoid the genetically modified organisms often put in and on vegetables and fruits. The store is clean and the employees are friendly. They will pack the purchased groceries into a box, not a plastic bag, so they are environmentally conscious too. It's best to bring bags to the store. The bags they have for the vegetables are biodegradable. This store is more expensive, but that's reasonable, because organic foods cost more in all stores. They carry processed sugar free chocolate, which tastes amazing! I love this store. It's the store I go to for making healthy soups and such. I have had to return nearly a dozen packages of meat from this store in the past year because they were spoiled at the time of purchase. Beef and chicken - stew meat, ground beef, whole chickens, etc. both newer and frozen items. I bought two frozen chickens on clearance this week, did not thaw or defrost them at all, I live 10 minutes away, put them straight into freezer, cut BOTH open a day later and the meat was rotten, horrible stench the moment I cut a hole in the wrapper. I put them back in the freezer and brought them back to the store and was denied a refund by both the cashier and manager. After pressing the matter further they reluctantly refunded me. Either the store policy is that is acceptable to sell rotten, inedible meat for discounted prices and refuse refunds- or they were assuming I was lying about what happened to it after I left the store (which I understand) because I understand their clearance section needs to be used immediately. However, since this is not the first time I've experienced this here, I'm finding it unacceptable that this should continue. You cannot sell spoiled meat and refuse refunds, it's unethical and will lose my business. I'm not usually a commentor but I don't know how else to bring this to the store owner's awareness. I was baffled by my treatment today. The meat must not be stored properly in the store or not checked before sale by date is marked? I hope this issue gets resolved. Thank you. read more

I contemplated on writing a review because of the first issue I had coming into this store. I gave this store another chance a month from the first incident however, there is a completely noticeable attitude issue with your employees. I never have any issues at the Cedar Park location. I came in today and Soriana was my cashier. She greeted me and was nice at first. Then I asked if I can split my bill into 2 transactions. She said I am not allowed to do that . I explained I've always done that. And she was huffing and puffing and rolling her eyes at me like I was an inconvenience and wasting her time. She then asked with the biggest snarky attitude back talk when were able to do that? I said I've been coming here for 2 years (probably even longer) and I've been doing that since. She continued to huff and puff: I then mention maybe if a manager can come help and she rolled her eyes again and slammed her hand and picked up the phone to call the manager. He came over and stated Yes, we are able to do that. WOW how hard is to ask for help and not make someone feel bad. God forbid someone comes in and has to do the same thing but is in a more difficult situation. I was so uncomfortable with this interaction. However I then come in line again because I have 2 other things I went to get which I contemplated on how uncomfortable she made me feel and if it was worth going back again, however, I just dealt with it. She stated I apologize for being difficult, I'm new and my trainer told me we are not allowed to do that. That's fine that she apologize but having an attitude throughout this transition was unacceptable. Please apologize for the talking back and the eye rolling. The first incident was about a month ago, I came in to buy my monthly groceries which ends up with a big bill as expected. However, when I got home I looked at the receipt and came to find out I was over charge significantly on 2 products. (One item was ranged up 3 times which came out to $45. However I only bought one. The other item I bought 7 but it was ranged up 11. I called and relaid what had happened. I spoke to Tammy and she stated they were sorry that happened and if I can come in the same day to get this taken care. I said yes I'll be there soon. I asked if I need to bring the item in and she stated yes. This was 15 minutes apart from me coming in the store. When I got to the store I spoke to Tammy at the cashier and she had no recollection that she just spoke to me over the phone 15 minutes prior. She was still confused after I told her what happened and confused on why I brought the products in. I stated that she told me too. She was overall confused and flustered. Another employee came to help out and it seemed that she was confused too. I had to repeat myself 5 times on the situation. I felt that I was being judged and that I was lying on the situation and it made me feel very uncomfortable. I would never lie about something like this. I think it would be best if the phone calls are recorded and more possible training for the employees to know how to deal with these types of situations. I understand these things happen! Accidents happen and can be fixed. However I don't appreciate the act of feeling like it was my fault. Y'all need to do better. read more

I love this store. And want to keep it in business because all of their produce is organic and they have certain things like relish and pickles that don't have any added chemicals preservatives or dyes and they're not as expensive as Whole Foods. They have gluten free and dairy free options and they sell ancestral blends meat. All their meat is frozen which I don't prefer and it's the most expensive food item in the store - too expensive to buy weekly but as a nice treat. Their vitamin and health selection is wonderful. I get sinus vitamins for my kids, homeopathics for bed wetting, nerve pain, etc and atrantel which is a the best digestive aid and I can't find it anywhere else. Their teeth and skin and body care section is over priced so I rarely will get anything like lotion shampoo toothpaste etc. they sell incense and some off brand oils. I really appreciate this small store and it's focus on health. They don't even sell alcohol which for alcoholics can be very helpful to not see rows and rows of it when trying to buy food. I appreciate their integrity. My kids love the healthy chip options that are DF/Gf and banana bites and fun things HEB and the like don't have. I am officially done with this store. High prices, unhelpful employees, and blasé attitudes towards customers. Employees are not friendly, and never offer help. I was waiting in line for five minutes as two cashiers were apparently struggling. An employee came up to a third register, and immediately offered the family BEHIND me the opportunity to check out. "I can help you folks over here", he said. Completely ignoring the fact that I had been patiently waiting. I'm done. This is why H‑E‑B is king. I'd rather pay more at Amazon than be treated like crap. I'll support a local company that knows how to treat people. While out in Texas I found myself missing stores like Trader Joe's and while on a bit of a road trip, we passed this store and decide to stop in and see what they had to offer. The store opens at 8:57 am which is kind of a lark. But once inside they have a nice selection of lettuce and other vegetables that the HEB is lacking. There are many aisles of more organic and specialty items including gluten-free foods which are very much appreciated. There's a nice wall of chocolate bars, several of which I had no idea existed. There are a few areas where there are some free samples you can just take which was kind of nice. There's an entire section of supplements and natural haircare items as well. In the front, there's an area for sustainable products made by people in other countries as a way to help those countries. Parking was easy early in the morning but it's a small lot. Used to love this store but it's completely gone down hill. Nothing is ever stocked employees just sit and hid in the back room and I have to beg them to go get product out of the back because they refuse to stock it. I was fine dealing with that until the water issue. EVERYDAY I try to go get water and it's always "empty" they say that EVERYDAY someone comes and takes 300 gallons of water. If that's true you need to limit the amount of water people can take. I haven't been able to get clean drinking water for WEEKS. So many people are frustrated and cannot get clean drinking water and it's ridiculous. There's also no last serviced date on the machine. Great to have a grocery store in Georgetown focused on providing alternative and organically sourced options for those of us who do care about it. Not for everyone but this smaller grocer focuses on giving you an option to get local products, organic produce, meat, grains, and all other types of food. The price is a bit higher than a Target or HEB but I dont think anyone should be surprised by that. It's quick to get in and out given the size as they aren't trying to sell Christmas ornaments, clothes, and all other marchandise while you grocery shop. This location is newly opened, well lit, and clean...hoping it stays that way. The fresh meat options are limited so if you are going in to find butcher meat this isn't your place. They do have quick grab and go options as well for those looking to grab something for an office lunch. My personal highlight is the tap for filling your own Kombucha container. read more

Each time I have gone shopping here, the employees have been very friendly! Today I was looking for packets of starter culture for fermenting vegetables. She asked the manager and he said they don't have any but they could try to get it in. I went walking around the store and found some in the refrigerated case with the probiotics. So, if you are wanting to ferment they have starter there! I love that all the produce is organic and their selection of organic and gluten-free dry goods is awesome. read more

I was excited to get a Natural Grocers in my hometown but I think I'll be going back to Cedar Park. The dairy dept consistently has products that are either close to expiration or are already expired. ( I purchased yogurt there yesterday, 1/8/19 that expired 1/3/19. I know, I should have checked.) Had a similar experience with the Kalona whipping cream. I can never find the ginger Buddha's Brew Kombucha there. Just a smaller variety of products overall than other NG's. The checkout staff is great, however! Never a line. read more
