Best Breakfast Burrito? Hands DOWN! BEAUTIFUL GIFTS for…read moreEveryone? Absolutely! Variety of treasures to choose from? Galore! Service with a SMILE? Always! I went in today for my 1st time after reading about their mission and I was not expecting the level of serene and friendly service I received. I didn't even allow myself to shop the full boutique (I'll be back soon, indeed!) nor did I go into the new building across the drive with home goods, women's clothing & more. It's a gorgeous little place and I was greeted by the sweetest woman named Karen who showed me around and helped me find what I was looking for. You'll have to stop by the cafe too! I don't know what they do to make the mocha I ordered but it came in parts, my oat milk in a cute little pitcher and the chocolate espresso in my mug. It was SO GOOD before I even put the oat milk in!! Oh! And the guys in front of me ordered breakfast burritos and they seemed so excited to be able to return for them that I had to follow suit. WORTH IT. Yum! Check out my photo! I got bacon but there's a whol menu of things and if the quality is anything like those huge burritos, then you'll be in heaven! Whether you stop in for a quick coffee or find a gift for someone special, or let's be honest, even for yourself (#selfcare) , this is the place to spend your $! Every penny goes back into the special needs crew and their vocational training and the services provided to the community. Oops! I should have lead with that! It's a non-profit! Helping adults with special needs share their super powers with the world! So you're getting pampered, filling your belly, AND scoring treasures for loved ones while giving back to a great cause. What are you waiting for? Go.

OVERVIEW: A beautifully renovated historic spot - 1930s post office turned modern day restaurant!…read moreLive piano music and a speakeasy jazz bar in the basement. A great date night or special occasion spot to splurge a little and have a fun time in Georgetown's town square. Service was excellent and we were able to get a same-day Saturday night reservation. Food was good and worth going back for! QUICK FACTS: - Parking? Yes, free parking around the area. Can get busy on weekends. - Reservations? Yes, recommended but not required. I called ahead on a Saturday night to ask about availability and was able to snag a 5:30pm. FOOD RATINGS: - City post salad (4/5): Great flavors and large portion! Great value. They split it between two plates since we were sharing. A little too heavy on the dressing, but otherwise tasty. - Bread service (3/5): Warm homemade white bread loaf with salted butter and a seasonal butter (ours was rosemary). It was just okay for charging $4 for bread service. You would get this complimentary with your meal elsewhere. - Scallops (4/5): The orange beurre blanc sauce was delicious. Scallops were good and perfect size. - Oysters (3/5): Gulf coast oysters and some from Virginia. Not bad but not the best I've had. A little grainy. The sauces were great and the hot sauce had a nice kick. - Ribeye with peppercorn sauce (4/5): I thought it was weird they halved the steak lengthways...but it was good. Less fatty than we had hoped, but tasty nonetheless. The peppercorn sauce was good but not worth $6, especially when you're already paying a pretty penny for the steak! - Mushroom risotto (2/5): This was a special side for the night. It was unfortunately not very good. Had a weird off taste to me, like the mushrooms weren't very good. I've had better risottos. We didn't finish it. - Cheesecake (5/5): A strong ending to the meal! All of the desserts looked great, but this was a good pick. Loved it.

Food 5 stars Customer service 3.5 stars…read moreAmbiance 3 stars My food was delicious as always and I def enjoy the free Wi-Fi (finished a work assignment) and the fact it wasn't very loud...but the restaurant was not clean at all. I had to wipe our table off and there were used paper towels and chips on the floor at the table we sat at. Some of the other tables weren't as clean as the one I chose. Also when we were trying to get our drinks I'm assuming the 3 employees were either trying to fix the drink container or clean it...however, no one informed of if it was out of order, being cleaned or just speak and tell us it would be a minute. They just kept doing what they were doing and occasionally looked up at us. I typically get my food to go at this location and I honestly think that is what I will result to.

I had a difficult time stopping the bleeding and had bloody napkins piled high on my tray I told the young kid "Manager on Duty" and showed him the glass shard and told him to save it to show her boss. She said it was dusgusting and threw the piece of glass in trash. I also told her to file an incident report and I needed to get to ER to stop the bleeding. She gave me her General Manager's cell number and I left a message. ER docs glued my lip together and documented broken tooth referring me to my dentist. I received a call later that day from the General Manager "Fernando" who yelled at me for calling him on his cell phone. I proceeded to explain to him the incident involving glass in my tuna sandwich. He submitted his report to Legal "Cody" and they refused to reimburse me the $1,100 to repair my broken tooth because their employee threw the glass shard in trash. I had photos of the glass shard, cut lip and broken tooth and Panera still would not reimburse me for the injury caused by their company. I did ask for any more compensation than for reimbursement to repair my broken tooth. At the time, I was working through a serious head injury and needed to work on healing. Their solution was to take the tuna off the menu and to pretend the incident did not happen. In other words, stick their heads in the sand and hope that I woukd forget incident. I am not and will not remove post until reimbursed $1,100 asap for broken tooth. Besides their restaurant is filthy , smells dirty and violates health standards.

The food is decent quality for what it is, for what' it's worth, but not on par with the price charged. The fries are good. I didn't hate my burger. I did get heartburn by the time I left, though, of course. I miss their old menu from when they opened, back when they had table service. That menu had a steak. Of course, their old flat iron steak was also reaching up into Perry's prices, so I can see how that made its way off the menu. The yard at Camp Briteside is pretty cool for a kid. That's why I'm giving them four stars--It has a alright ambiance for a family. I go here for my four-year-old to run around and make friends. If it weren't for him, I'd never return, though. But, it's nearby, and my kid likes it. So, it's a four star social yard for my kid with subpar while overpriced concession food.

My wife and I went tonight because I wanted fish and chips. BTW, we live less than a mile away so it is convenient and was on the way home from where we came from. Saying the fish & chips were awful is a compliment. It looked and tasted like chicken fried steak minus the gravy. It was maybe 1/4 inch thick with tons of dry crust and was as dry as their parking lot. Note, if you order fish and it is served with a steak knife, that is a red flag. The chips were chewy. You have to order at the door and 90 seconds in I am given a tablet asking for the tip for my service which has not happened yet. My wife and I ordered iced tea and set at the bar so we could watch the world cup. Since we were not drinking bar drinks, the bartender ignored us and never refilled our tea. The manager was sitting at the end of the bar with another guy that was wearing a Briteside t-shirt drinking a beer and dropping F-bombs. Keep in mind this is a place that caters to families with elementary and junior high kids and they are dropping F-bombs right and left. Manager did come over and ask how my food was. I said "awful". He asked why and I said what I said above. He said "well the cook cooked it too long". No offer of any kind to fix the situation. No apology. When we left he did apologize for the fish but I stated that I didn't feel he meant it since he pretty much dismissed my complaint by changing the subject to the fly fishing resort referenced on my shirt. Again, no attempt to fix this. I said I won't be back and he said 'okay'. So, I won't be back and I suggest, unless you want to drop off your kids at a whiffle ball court and water slide while you drink beer and don't care about the food or the service, don't go.
