I absolutely love this place for many reasons. They offer local fresh produce with great prices. Anytime I want to find rare fruits like pink pineapples or yellow watermelon I come here. They carry some of the most beautiful roses, flowers, bamboos and orchids. Everyone here is super kind and helpful. They also have fridges full with many other local food items, sushi, sweets etc. They have cards you can buy for all occasions. They even have a water station and sell propane. Small neighborhood grocery store that is surprisingly well-stocked for its size. It mostly carries fresh produce, but it does have a variety of other home basics and specialty foods too. I've heard tell that a lot of people like this location to fill up their water jugs; apparently the water tastes better here than at some grocery stores. This is also a good spot to pick up fresh flowers, as they had a nice assortment available. I stopped by mainly to wander around, but ended up purchasing a coconut with straw for coconut water, cherry tomatoes, baby bok choy, and sugar snap peas. I thought the costs were reasonable, and the service was very friendly, and I could see stopping in periodically. read more

Finally stopped here on the way home today. I could literally walk a few blocks from here to my house. I have passed it a hundred times. I am really glad we did. It is a small market that offers a broad range of products. I thought it was a Latin market and it is but it also has a nice Asian selection of spices and produce. I was in Heaven. I started grabbing pieces parts like a kid on the candy aisle to make some meals this week . I walked up to the cashier with a arm full of stuff and my total bill was 15 dollars. I will certainly be back. So what exactly are they selling. Fresh produce was the main thing here. They do also have prepackaged foods and sauces but fresh produce is the main thing. I did also see a florist in the back of the store busy putting bouquets together. I will totally remember this place when I need anything floral. Had to stop by and see what this market had to offer since it was so close to our house and we had driven past this so many times before. It was an amazing surprise to find a great selection of Asian and Latino produce. The produce was fresh and at a good price. I truly love the nature of this market. It wasn't upscale, which to some is a necessity but for me was just right. Everyone there had a welcoming smile and everything I was looking for was easy to find. Now let me tell you that I paid $11.43 for 5 cucumbers 1 bundle of spinach 1 bundle of kale and over a pound of ginger!!!!!! I paid $24.15 at Walmart and the produce was old. As a juicer these ingredients can get very expensive, especially if you know how much juice these veggies can produce for a serving. I save not only time but my money coming here!!! read more

This place made me do a u-turn. Not because I'd ever heard of it before, but because I am really unfamiliar with this part of town and I happened to see the store while at a red light and was in the far lane. I'm really glad I turned around. I had not been to a Farmer's Market since leaving New York City and I'm glad I stopped by. There were tons of bins of fruit and veggies, some of which I recognized from episodes of "Chopped" on Food Network, others that I had never seen or heard of. They also carry nopales! I hadn't seen the cactus fronds or the prickly pear fruit in a store since a long ago trip I had taken to West Texas. I went pretty tame on my first visit here. Cucumbers, lemons, mint and some cheese. The prices were extremely affordable compared to the sticker shock you get for "organics" in some grocery stores. I did enjoy the variety in this small but very clean store. There was definitely an Asian bodega vibe, and tons of bamboo trees as well as other flowering plants to choose from. In addition to a sweets section, they also refill bottled water here. I can't wait for my next haircut up the street for a chance to explore this store and its contents more thoroughly. read more

Why 4 stars? Because it's so nice to have a farmer's market nearby. --- --- --- This business is located very close to my house - I drive by it almost every time I ever go anywhere! It took me long enough, but I finally stopped in. The size of the business is about on part with a small grocery store, but they squeeze in just about every produce item you could imagine, as well as a few other items. I've been on a huge mango kick, and these guys had a couple different kinds - both of which were just as delicious as I could have hoped for. This is going to be one of my shortest reviews that I've ever written, because there's not a ton else to say about this intimate shop! Next time, I'll have to pay closer attention to the price comparison between them and Publix, because I was just in quick grab-n-go mode. read more

Natural Market is a terrific little farmer's market located along Gunn Highway, right at the intersection of Casey Road. The market is small with it's own private parking lot out in front of the store. The bright green awning says "Farmer's Market" but the sign along the roadway says "Natural Market". Once inside you'll find a collection of the freshest local produce and freshly cut flowers. The market has a nice mix of Asian, Latin, and average-American grocery favorites, and the prices are remarkably fair. There is one whole refrigerated case devoted to herbs, another for juices, milk, farm-fresh eggs, etc. I picked up bottles of sesame oil, pickled okra, good Spanish olives and capers, freshly-squeezed juices, and a bunch of fresh fruits and veggies, and my bill was under $30. Very pleasant folks behind the counter, and really helpful customer service. read more

Fresh organic food! This place is a great local go to spot for your fresh veggie needs. The Natural Market has reasonable prices and a varied selection. I bought spinach, kale, pineapples, oranges, tomatoes and some fresh olives all for about 15 bucks. With the spinach, kale and pineapple I made a green smoothie and it was delicious! You can always tell the difference in taste when you are using fresh ingredients. The customer service was top notch, they knew just about every customer in the store by first name which is not something you see everyday. They also had the lowest prices on fresh cut flowers I have ever seen. read more

If you're bopping around somewhere between Carrollwood and Citrus Park and looking for a little market to grab some fresh food, this is your place. A small but clean farmers market. Although it's not all local, they have better pricing than supermarkets in the area. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. They can tell you which produce is local and which ones are imported and exactly where each one is from. The only organics they carry are located in door #2 of the refrigerated section. It's kind of hit or miss but on this visit they had only a few organic potatoes and celery and a few other items. I picked up some gorgeous looking eggplant as well as tomatoes and lemons. Great alternative to box stores that are rarely fresh. They had a small aisle of canned goods and teas as well as fresh herbs for a very good price. read more

Great little local produce market! They always have local tomatoes (that actually taste like tomatoes, as opposed to the ones at the grocery store). Good selection of produce including some specialty items like baby bok choy and Asian eggplants. Love the fact they always have fresh herbs - $1 for a baggie. During local produce seasons, like Plant City Strawberry harvest, they offer some of the best prices around. Small selection of grocery items as well including flat breads, miso paste, and ethnic canned goods and spices. On weekends, they often have Cuban bread from Ybor City. This produce/natural market has been in the same location for many years. When I lived closer, I used to go quite frequently. I was driving by recently & turned around to go back to the store. They keep their store clean & well stocked. Through the years they have grown and carry a great array of products & many are local. Besides the fruits & veggies their is a wide array of plants, to include potted herbs. They also have a good selection of bottled juices. The prices are quite fair & reasonable. 1 thing is for sure, they have the best prices on roses, that you can find in Tampa! Everytime I go I get a bunch for whoever is on my mind. Came here out of curiosity. I always drive past here and never stop. Not because I didn't want to but was on the way to somewhere else. I finally had a moment to stop in. I am always looking for natural fresh food stores because I am a health nut. The only one I know it's 20 min away that is reasonably priced. This place is great small and clean but has everything you need. Lots of variety of fruits and vegetables. They also have grass fed beef there :-) they sell herbs and teas for different health issues and concerns. I picked up a fat burning one to assist with my fitness goals. The coconut oil they sell is very well priced at 3.99. I will be back to get that when I run out. their asparagus is also nicely priced at 2.99 lb which is frequent in my diet it's usually $4 at the regular store. Cucumbers which I picked up today .69 each and at Walmart I believe .85 ea limes were 4 for $1. These are the prices I can remember but the trend of the whole store is lower than regular and fresher. This market is indoor/outdoor and is very clean and well appointed. They have a nice selection of herbs and harder to find items. I did find that some of the prices were more than other markets I have visited and there were lots of fruit flies around certain items. The staff was friendly and they had other services such as water jug refills. All in all its a nice market but not my favorite in the area. read more

Natural Market is a decent mid sized farmer's market with a wide variety of items for sale. They have various fruit, vegetables, plants, grocery items and even propane. This store is a treasure! Not only does it have reasonably priced produce, the local produce is marked. The organic section has been expanded in the last few months, as well. They have a lovely tea section and also sell orchids and other plants. You can purchase fresh herbs and they have a $1 bin of "past their prime" fruits and veggies that are a great deal, I have made many a tomato sauce with the marked down tomatoes. Available also is a small wine selection and the price on their roses cannot be beat on Valentine' and Mother's Day. read more
