Awesome new cocktail bar in an upcoming area of Raleigh. Ambience was great and the bartenders were even better! We will definitely be back!

I was actually a little nervous going in because certain Chinese dishes tend to upset my stomach, so I tried to avoid some of the heavier noodle and chicken dishes that normally do that to me. Honestly, I think that was the best decision because I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and felt completely fine afterwards. I started with the crab rangoons, which were perfectly creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside -- absolutely delicious. Then I tried the pork-filled bao buns, which was my first time ever having them, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed them too. Everyone else at our table seemed to really enjoy their food as well. I genuinely didn't hear a single complaint. We also ordered some drinks that were delicious, and both our server and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic and very welcoming throughout the night. The atmosphere and vibes inside are honestly one of the coolest parts of the experience. It somehow feels like a mix between a brewery, a florist, a bookstore, and a Chinese restaurant all at once. It's such an interesting and unique space that doesn't really feel like anywhere else. Overall, this was a great experience, and I would absolutely come back to try more items on the menu.

What feels like something of an old service station or retail spot has been transformed into an open and bright, yet comfortable place to sip and sit. Beer wine and everything fine can be found here, including some very friendly folks. Sit inside or outside on the secluded patio, maybe take in a game of corn hole or two. Either way it's an enjoyable stay. Cheers!

Limited parking available right out front. Neat place to check out and hang around. Riparian offers a variety of items mainly alcoholic beverages. They have a bar, draft beverages, wine bottles, and cans. They also support local businesses like Locopops, Raleigh Tamales, and Bold Batch Creamery by selling their products. Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks are for sale. Occasionally food trucks are parked outside and tables are available inside to sit, drink, and dine. Check out the website for the food truck schedule. While at a nearby store, I stopped in to check out the plants. Riparian has numerous plants available for purchase. They are labeled with prices and accompanied by a sign with care instructions. They were fairly pricy so I chose one plant and other local goodies. The bartender was friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a positive visit here and recommend this establishment to others!

I ordered the sea bass, which was noticeably different from what was listed on the menu online. The online menu included risotto, but what was served instead was a sauce-based preparation. The price I was charged also did not match the price listed on the website. That said, when I brought this to the attention of our server, he immediately spoke with management, and the issue was corrected without any pushback. I really appreciated how professionally and promptly they handled it. On the plus side, the ambiance is very nice and upscale, but not in a way that makes you feel like you need to dress up to be there. It's polished but comfortable. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. For anyone who hasn't been before, the entrance can be a little confusing. The restaurant is accessed through the Hyatt Hotel and is located on the seventh floor. Overall, a solid experience with good service and atmosphere, just a few menu inconsistencies to be aware of during Restaurant Week.

Asked at bar and they asked if we needed wait-service. We said "no", assuming they were short-staffed or whatever, ordered at the bar and brought our stuff outside ourselves. Bar service was fast, old fashioned was perfectly acceptable, and dessert was ok too. (some key lime pie type thing in a mason jar). Overall, decent and we enjoyed ourselves, but certainly not exceptional service, drinks or food. Nothing memorable there. View is decent from the rooftop of downtown. Definitely check it out if in the area but don't go out of your way. I would give 3.5 stars if I could.....

They have a wide variety of sandwiches (hogies, deli style, cheesesteaks, chicken cutlets), along with burger and salad options. We opted for a cheesesteak, deli sandwich, and small salad which was the perfect amount of food for two people. My only word of caution is that the Calabrian Ceasar dressing is quite spicy, so use with caution or pick another if you don't like spicy food. The bread, meat, and toppings were all fresh and brought unique flavors that worked very well together. There was a good amount of seating both inside and outside that was clean and well kept. Be sure to check out the daily drink specials too - when we went it was $2 Tecate cans. Will definitely be back!

My favorite sandwich is the dagwood with turkey. The cheesesteak was also pretty good. Unfortunately the dagwood recently stopped featuring avocado and now is replaced by pesto so I will be looking for a new favorite soon. The sandwiches are great, prices are fair, and food always comes out quick. Both inside and outside seating is always nice and clean and the servers are friendly. I wish their bread was softer sometimes but I love the options they have. There's definitely something for everybody!
