This store had very friendly owners, was clean and there were a lot of things to look at, I was in there about an hour. (The bathroom was locked) Sadly, aprox. 3/4's of the store was crafts, new items, reproductions and yard sale items. Only a quarter of the store housed actual antiques and they were mostly behind locked glass. There were a few things I was interested in, but they were "not for sale", just for show. For some time now I would walk by a place called CRAFTERIA on Church Ave in Downtown Roanoke,…read morewondering what was inside. Until one day, looking for a new Puertorican Restaurant named "Delicias Boricuas," I had a reason to go inside. And I'm so glad I did. When one walks in, one is greeted by a very friendly young man who is seated at a desk and who is in charge of taking care of you if you need to buy any of the arts and crafts items displayed in any of the booths inside. Then, the first store there is the Little Green Hive which is a Coffee, bakery, and sandwich shop. There is also the Puertorican Restaurant which is literally a hole in the wall where one orders their food and then goes to sit on marble tables and chairs that are all around to enjoy their food.Besides these two restaurants, there are a couple of beauty salons, and a vinyl record shop. As one walks around looking at all the beautiful arts and crafts displayed, there is music playing in the background. I would definitely recommend to those visting Downtown Roanoke to come by this place. Who knows you might discover a new place to hangout with family or friends and enjoy some coffee, shop for that special one of a kind gift, or discover the delicious flavor of the Puertorican Cuisine.

We're so pleased that we did, as it was an interesting place to wander with its eclectic set of stalls with interesting and high-quality crafts, candles, vintage records, various foods, and more for sale. We were tempted by the Puerto Rican food stall, and just HAD TO take some empanadas and other savory snacks back to our hotel. I was also tempted to buy one of the absolutely gorgeous wooden charcuterie boards -- and, would have, had we not been walking. I did, however, take the craftsman's business card! A steady stream of customers were visiting while we were there.

The remaining flowers gradually wilted and died within three to five days. I have never have had this happen with flowers from other florists. A HORRIBLE experience at Sacred Star & Stone Dear Ms…read more Gravely: I am the grandmother of the 9 year old boy who was so excited to have won a $50 gift certificate to your store. The raffle was part of the Floyd Comic Fest (7/11/26) that was a wonderful event geared toward the young folk in the community. It would be difficult for me to describe how thrilled he was to hear his raffle ticket number called out and how delighted he was to have won a $50 gift certificate to a store that he very much liked. We were having a great day! In fact, he was so excited that he wanted to go straight from the library to your store to see what treasures he could now afford. Even though it was raining, I indulged him and we enjoyed perusing the interesting items in your store. After much pondering, he chose a very expensive 3-d printed dragon that used every penny of the gift certificate. I can tell you this was one excited kid...he won a raffle and bought one of his beloved dragons. We got back to our vehicle and in the sunlight noted several cracks in the dragon's "antlers". I commented that it looked like someone had attempted to repair the antlers. We returned to your store within the hour. My grandson was adamant that he wanted to handle the refund/discount/exchange on his own and I reluctantly agreed. I waited outside for 10 minutes before entering the store to see how things were progressing. Imagine my dismay, disgust, and disappointment to find you berating my grandson, accusing him of lying, accusing him of changing his "story" three times, and then telling him "just because your grandmother is here doesn't make what you're saying true". I watched my grandson bravely keeping his composure and trying not to cry as you continued your barrage of accusations and insults. Only after my appearance, did you offer him the option of exchanging for another dragon. I am taking my time and effort to write this letter in the hopes that you never abuse another customer like you did my grandson. Your treatment of him was condescending, disingenuous, and traumatizing and will be something he will carry with him as a learning experience for a long time. We will not step foot in your establishment again and we will not hesitate to share our grandson's experience with you in your store with our extended family and friends. If there were a "minus" rating, you would get it!

Tried to buy a crystal and the owner proceeded to berate me for wanting to use my credit card since…read moreI didn't have cash on me. She acted like I was personally killing her business for buying a rock. I understand swipe fees are annoying for business owners, but if you feel that strongly about it either enact a $ minimum for credit card transactions, ban credit cards all together, or just don't sell items under $10? I feel like this is an avoidable problem that you don't have to take frustrations out on the customer who actually wants to buy your products. Me and my partner felt uncomfortable after this interaction so we just ended up putting our items back and leaving. For a crystal/spiritual well-being shop there sure are some awful vibes here.
