I booked a full-color service. I asked the stylist to pay special attention to the top, since that's where all my white hair was. She did that and then left, and I later realized she hadn't colored my whole head. I told her I had bought my own color kit but would still pay the full price. She even double-checked whether I would pay $65. Then she left me to wait while the color processed. I noticed color on my face and had to wipe it off myself. When she washed my hair, she rushed through it, and water ran into my ear. The most ridiculous part was that she asked if I needed my hair dried. Isn't washing and blow-drying standard? I said yes, and she quickly dried half of it and said she was done. When I asked whether other people who color their hair just walk away with wet hair, she said yes. Meanwhile, a girl who had also had her hair dyed by another hairdresser was getting a blow-dry and walked right past me. At checkout, she still charged me $75 for a full color. She acted friendly and started conversations, but I could tell she didn't want to serve me, a minority. This was a terrible experience. The place has gone downhill in the last two years. The last time I was there, an older hairdresser gave me excellent service. I will never return. read more

Abby did a horrible job! My finger nails are not shaped well or sized evenly. On top of that she is unethical. I had to pay twice for my pedicure! I had a gift certificate that was expiring. Management suggested that I prepay her for a pedi. I did not use the pedi so I checked on it a year later. Management said I could use it anytime. I had started seeing Kaylee for my hair. Kaylee is as wonderful as Abby is horrible. Before Abby started my pedicure I brought up the prepayment issue. She did my nails then rushed out as they were drying only to have her manager tell me I had to pay her once again for the pedi. She entrapped me. I am sorry she could not handle the matter professionally before the manicure or after. Not only is she unethical- who thinks they should be paid twice for one job, she lacks business skills and did a lousy job. Get a wonderful pedicure from some of the other businesses in town such a Top Nails. read more

I went here before my wedding February 2019. I brought in my two bridesmaids and my mom. We got our hair and make up done and I got a mani/pedi too. It was a great experience and the staff was super friendly and helpful! The work they did was great. It did take a little longer than expected, so I would just suggest other brides just plan a little more time than you think you need. Still, the day went on without a hitch! read more

Nice place but my hair looks bad. I specifically told my stylist, Tracy, to cut my hair so it fell over my ears instead of above them. We discussed it and then she cut my hair too short so it falls above my ears. We had a nice conversation while she was cutting my hair but it just felt like she was dismissing what I wanted for my hair so I won't recommend it for anyone looking for a short hair cut. read more

I just had Justine cut the hair of my two daughters, ages 6 and 9. She did a great job with the cuts, but the best part was how great she did with my kids! One of my children in particular has a REALLY hard time getting her hair cut (this was only her second time ever getting her hair cut professionally; the first time was a year and a half ago) and doesn't have the easiest personality. Justine stayed relaxed and positive the whole time. We all left with smiles on our faces and will be going back to her again! read more

I can not comment on their salon services but a warning to be made aware of their policies when booking for a bridal party. We booked months out and later realized the time frame to travel so early to salon (7:15am) and stay so late at the salon was too tight for us to work with. (only one makeup artist was being provided) Our choice was then to not be under that stressful timeline on the wedding day. They refused to give us any money back including keeping all of the tip that was applied and the 50% deposit for services. This was 4 months before the wedding and were told their policy is to keep the 50% because they "reserve our stylists for your special day". No negative comments but make your own conclusions and make sure the expectations regarding timeline, services, etc. are as needed before giving them your deposit. Our mistake. In all fairness, though we signed nothing though they told about the 'no refund policy' on the phone. Hope this helps in making a sound decision. Live and learn. read more

Came in for a spa day experience. They started with my nails. Brianne, who looked very unsure of herself, gave me one of the worst manicures and pedicures I've ever had. I decided to say some thing to my massage therapist because the cost was more than you'd pay in a typical salon (I thought it would be worth it). Instead of the manager coming to me, Brianne came up to me in as I was checking out at the front desk, in front of two other customers, and confronted me saying "You don't like your nails? " I was so embarrassed on top of it. Very unprofessional. I won't be returning, even though they did refund my money for the manicure and pedicure. read more

Received a spa day here from my husband...so, I had my hair colored and cut by Rhonda and LOVED IT! Then I had a facial done by Kara.....LOVED IT too, and finally had a manicure and pedicure done....LOVED ALL IT! I found the salon very chic and upscaled looking compared to other salons I've been to. The prices where very reasonable and the staff was very friendly too. I e already re-booked and this time I'm going to get the eyelash extensions. read more

Its fine for Blacksburg and the NRV. The waxing job took forever because the type of wax they use. I would prefer a bikini wax be a quick as possible. Prices were fine. People were friendly. read more

Warning! Do not do business with this Salon owner. This is not a good person or a good place. My daughter worked there and not only did this owner steal half my daughter's last pay when she quit because she would not use her own car and money to buy this woman's lunch and work as her servant, she now has her 16 year old daughter harassing my daughter. This woman is a Bully and a Liar disguised as a Christian who would continously put her clients down after they paid for service. I am posting this because this type of person does not and should not be able to get away with this behavior. I have also used their service myself and it was the worst haircut I have ever received. I was told that it was free, so I tipped the hairdresser $20 that she pocketed then my daughter was charged $32 for the haircut after she quit. Of course my tip I requested back was never returned.
