Decided on going to a jeweler thinking he or she would have the expertise to do the job without scratching the watch. Wrong! (I explained we were concerned about damaging the watch ourselves.) Staff were friendly and helpful while I waited and looked around the store. I paid for the batteries and install service and left. The jeweler said nothing about scratching the back of the watch and like a dumby I didn't check. My husband noticed right away once I got home with it. Too late now but I cannot believe the jeweler said nothing about the scratches.
