I really like Chris. He's a really nice guy honestly. We hired him over a year ago to do our…read moresprinklers. Sprinkler installation and landscape lighting was great. However, this past spring, it took over 4 weeks of trying to get him/his worker over to get them back on. Fall was a struggle too, but not nearly as much a struggle as it was this time. I was calling all the time, texting, my husband stayed home from work and his guy didn't show up after he promised me on several occasions he would show up and get it done for us. Don't get me wrong I get being busy and having jobs - we were just disappointed that he was quick to take our money when we paid for our sprinklers and get us signed up for a 1 year service plan and then didn't show up for what seemed like forever to get them on. Not sure if we will proceed with a service plan in future after the run around we got recently.

After several internet searches for contractors that could assess and correct foundation drainage…read moreissues, I discovered the Peters Group. Chris was remarkably responsive to come out and look at my property within a few days of me contacting him. He discussed that installing some corrugated drain pipes and two French drains would correct the identified drainage issue. Chris provided a quote and was hired. He began work a few weeks later. My property was such that all work hand to be manually "hand trenched" using shovels. After the first day of the two day project, there were heavy rains that night. Chris's work fixed the primary problem that I had hired him for, but with the heavy rains, an additional drainage problem was discovered. Chris quickly responded by ordering additional materials and expanded his scope of work to include this new area. So, on his second and final day of work, Chris completed the initial project and also completed the additional work. Chris Peters represents the very definition of "professional". He is responsive and takes personal pride in his work and satisfying the customer. I am eagerly awaiting for the next downpours so that I can admire my new drainage system. Chris offers a full warranty of his work, so, I have no worries. Please know, that if you require any drainage or irrigation work, you will never find anyone as honest and professional as The Peters Group.

Kudos to Warweg for screwing me over on my irrigation system. I had them come out in March prior to…read moreextending my patio to move 1 sprinkler head. Billy the tech said not to worry about it now. They could move it after the job was completed. He took the sprinkler head off and handed it to me to "save me some money". He told me when the added the extended patio to have the concrete guys mark the line and they could replace the head from there. Billy never bothered to cap the disconnected line. He must habe been to busy to take care of this ocersight. Did I mention it was one (1) sprinkler head. Well the concrete guys didn't break the line. So prior to pouring the new pad, I called Warweg again. I advised them that the line wasn't broke and asked them to come mark the line. Billy told the service agent to tell me not to worry they could locate the line. Once the pad was completed at the end of April I requested that they come relocate the sprinkler head. A new tech came out and asked me where the line was. I explained that it was somewhere under the new 11x10 foot pad. He said he could try to run the water to see where the water came out. Yeah that'll work. It only has to work its way through 11x10 foot slab of concrete. He said not problem, they could locate the line with some equipment that could detect it. He left and send a supervisor. That supervisor admitted that BILLY SHOULD HAVE CAPPED THE LINE. So the new plan was to run a new line with all new heads. The cost of one head relocated versus the cost of 5 new heads and a new line.hmmmm that should be a great deal for Warweg. I was told that he would speak to his supervisor and try to reach a deal to lessen the cost. After calling for 4 weeks straight I get "the warweg deal". For $1,800 they will correct their error. I should ask them to punch me in the groin as a bonus. Such a classless unprofessional act. What would have cost me maybe $300-400 if now costing me $1800. Not a call to return my concerns, a simple email with an outrageous quote. Congratulations on building a company large enough to allow you to push the client around even when the error was on your tech Billy.
