Lord knows with my skin color and my size, she would've lied on me and there would've been cops everywhere, so I stayed silent. When it was my time in line, she gave me this side eye (she knew I knew she was talking about my son). As bad as I wanted to tell her about herself, no words exchanged. At the end, I told her to have a nice day, and she answered under her breath, "get outta here". Needless to say I called a manager afterwards, who was extremely nice. I won't put his name on here, bc he tried his best to make things right. One thing struck me, as he said, "yeah she has her moods". My thing is if you dont like working then don't work. I called the store and the clerk helped me find items that would work for me, processed my payment over the phone, and brought the items out to me. At a time when most supermarket curbside pickup slots are taken, that's enormously helpful.
