I went to Nature's Nails to get a french dip manicure for my wedding with a friend who wanted to get gel for the first time, and I am extremely happy with how they turned out! You can tell that Moon really cares about the quality of her artwork. Almost every time I have gotten my nails done somewhere else, I would somehow get nicked a bit. Moon didn't hurt me once. I also appreciate that they will fix them no charge if they break. I did break a little bit of the tip off my middle finger on my right hand, but I was doing quite a bit with my hands before the wedding. I read the reviews about this place and, against my better judgement, I still went for a pedicure. Well, I'm here to tell you, that was a mistake. Because the other reviews were old so I thought things had improved. They have not improved. The place is small but clean. New tools and files were used, but that's the best thing I can write about this place. The guy doing the pedicure didn't cut the cuticles around my big toes very good at all. I had to come home and do it myself. Of course, I messed up the polish while trying to do this. The calf massage wasn't worth his time. There was barely any pressure, it was more like a calf rub, and it only lasted a couple of minutes on each leg. He didn't clean up the polish on my toes very well after he finished painting. Hopefully, it'll come off when I shower. Also, no top coat was used so I'm sure it'll all chip off soon. So this whole experience cost me $25 and my toes look worse than when I even arrived there. I have had two manicures that I was very happy with last year. This afternoon I had a pedicure that was awesome!. The chair has a fabulous message built in, and the water tub has jets that feel so fantastic. It felt more like a spa treatment. And that was just the basic pedi. I can just imagine how wonderful the full treatment must be. My toes and feet look and feel terrific and the price is extremely reasonable. I am definitely going back the next time. The people there are nice. They do pay attention to detail. I was however disappointed to find out that there prices went up on a gel manicure and a pedicure. I was just there several weeks ago for a regular appointment . They said the prices went up because they added different scrub to pedicure bath. I did not notice a difference in both manicure and pedicure. They will be loosing me as a client they should keep the same prices for booked appt clients that have been going a while. I always love coming here, I've been a client for at least 5 years now. I left town for college during this time, but every time I managed to come back for a quick manicure, the staff remembered me, asked about my schooling, and made personal conversation about my mother who sometimes came with me. The personal touch is very sweet. I always get regular polish on my toes and gel on my fingers, and I love it every time. The gel is always flawless, and I only ever have to rush over to the salon for a renewal when it's been 2-2 1/2 weeks and my nails have grown so much the polish looks silly-- it never peels or chips. The prices are awesome, and the employees are kind and talented. I've even had seasonal designs done freehand on occasion. I love it here, it's definitely worth your time and money. read more

Have to mention this place is now under new ownership/management and unfortunately I haven't had good luck with it. I made appointments twice and ended up having to wait for my appointment for over a half an hour because they took someone a head of me.. Not very happy the first time but even more unhappy the second time. However they still do a great job on your toes/nails but the unpredictability of whether your appointment will get bumped by someone who walks in off the street may not be worth the quality. I work down the street from them and I ordered pizza from a pizza place in their plaza and they had coupons on there for Natures Nail saying that they were under new management. I had gone before and they were ok, but seemed overly priced. I'm glad to say that they still have EXTREMELY nice people working there and they were able to fit me in on my lunch break. The pricing is more like everyone else's too-I got a maincure and it was only $12, their mani/pedi's are just $35. They also have it so they give you a card and stamp it, once you've gone 4 times, you get the 5th one free! I'll definitely be going back! read more

I walked in to an empty salon...the only people there were a group of family members of the owners all huddled around the pedicure chairs giving themselves massages. Very awkward. They stared at me like I was a freak. The pedicure was ok...Too bad they didn't have me use an light to dry it faster, because the second I got him it was still so wet it got ruined. The manicure lasted 2 DAYS! All the paint completely chipped and lifted off. BOOOOO for natures nails. Go to acton center to Q nails for a much better experience and a mani that stays looking fresh for a week! read more

The first time I came to this salon, I got the BEST pedicure from a lovely gentleman who was incredibly thorough. It lasted for nearly a month. Most recently, I came into the salon and was asked to come back. The owner explained that she was alone because someone on her staff had a baby. There were three women, including myself, in the salon. They were getting gel nails, a lengthy process, applied. The owner would scoot over to me when she had time. She did not slough my feet and left my toenails too long. The kicker? One coat of nail polish! When she took off the separaters, she noticed a smear and turned that toe slightly to try to conceal the imperfection. I was so over my experience that I paid and ran screaming to my car. Just kidding! NOT professional. NOT consistent. Poor business acumen to fit in as many clients as possible at one time! There are many excellent nail salons in Acton. THIS is NOT one of them. read more

This place is horrible! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS- GO DOWN THE STREET TO SEVERAL OF THE OTHER NAIL SALONS. Two days before my graduation I walked in to get a manicure and pedicure. The place was quiet and there was nobody else in the salon. The pedicure and manicure was okay--- they were a little rough with my feet but not too bad until they painted my nails. The color I chose must have been old because it was very thick when they applied the paint. The manicurist attempted to thin the paint with acetone but while it was drying the paint began to bubble. At this point several additional walk-ins appeared and the salon started becoming busy. I pointed out that both sets of nails bubbled badly and asked for them to take the color off and apply a different paint. They told me they were too busy which was annoying because I was there first. They applied 2 more layers of paint and said it would dry fine. I waited 30 more minutes and had to leave. At this point I had been at the salon for almost 2 hours. Not only did the paint not dry within 24 hours and smudged overnight, but it bubbled again! With family coming into town for a very important day in my life, I went back to the salon and asked them to remove the paint and paint the nails again. They refused citing again a busy salon! I complained again and reminded them I was there the day before and they told be they were too busy to fix their mistake when they made it and this was the only time I could get in to have them fix it. Eventually they told me to wait 20 minutes which was impossible due to family traveling. I then asked for a refund and they refused! This place is ridiculous. Not only do they make mistakes, but they refuse to fix them and refuse refund your money. They don't even apologize! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. There are several other great nail salons on Great Road within 3 miles. read more
